Veronica’s Point of view
When he caught me, he effortlessly shifted his intense look away from me and continued with their business. I was taken aback by what he did. I stroked my face in case I was still wearing a mask, hoping he just did not recognize me, yet...
He just didn't really know me.
He placed the lady at the dinner table. What? Is that what they aim to perform here?
I wanted to leave this room, but I was unable to move anything in my hand. I'm experiencing panic and I'm not sure where it's coming from. What if he has forgotten about me?
A filthy princess having ridiculous thoughts? Veronica pondering happiness when she is in pain? What nonsense feeling am I experiencing?
I stood and examined the mask next to my food. I swiftly grabbed it and didn't even peek at the man in the other room. I'm having difficulty breathing and my chest feels tight. What emotion does it elicit in me? Why is it so excruciatingly painful that I am unwilling to actually bear it? Why is the sorrow I feel different each time an image of him with a beautiful woman goes by? My heart felt as though it had been pierced by a hot iron.
I had no idea I was already sprinting when I passed the skyscrapers and lights. In combination with a torrential downpour. I was surprised that it was supposed to rain today. I should have remained home and watched the news.
As I slowed down and chased my breath, I came dangerously close to falling when someone abruptly grabbed my waist.
I can feel his rockstone and hot chest behind my back.
It’s a man.
I remained still as tears streamed down my cheeks.
My knees were weakening, and all I wanted to do was drink a lot of booze and forget about how I felt. Why is it that just because he is outstanding among my clients, I expect he would like me as well?
Is liking someone really a delusion?
I began by calming myself, despite the fact that my body was trembling in the rain.
When I was certain I was alright, I yanked off the firm hand on my tummy and faced the guy.
To begin, I massaged my eyes to remove the tears.
“Thank you—” I raised my eyes to someone with a warm body who assisted me, but I came to a halt when I realized whoever the person in front of me was.
I would have taken a step back when he claimed my waist again so my body got closer to him. I instantly grasped his chest, pushing him slightly away from me. I'm not sure whether it's the rain, but every time he touches me there is something I am feeling. It seems as if it penetrates my skin.
I was oblivious of my surroundings, as if Elijah and I were the only two people in our own universe.
"H-How did you get here?" I dropped my sight to avoid meeting each glance he directed at me.
"I have to ask you why you're here."
"It is none of your concern."
"It is my business." He said unequivocally.
"How?"
He couldn’t answer my question so I continued. "Permit me to leave and return to the restaurant. I do not know you."
"Did you forget who I was after you asked me why I was here? It offends my feelings."
“Then, be hurt. Who gives a damn?"
"Yes, you do."
"What a load of bullshit you are — Mmmp!"
I couldn't complete what I was going to say when he kissed me unexpectedly. My eyes expanded as we remained outdoors and many people could see.
I pounded his chest a few times to get him to release my lip, which I did without problem.
"Haah!" I catch my breath because of what he did. I pinned my eyes on him as he licked his lip.
"Sweet as always."
"Shut up!"
"What is there to be embarrassed of? I've seen everything in your body; so, why are you causing me to reject your luscious lips—" I interrupted him before he could continue speaking. I hurriedly covered his mouth and pulled into him in a small alley, as people were already staring at us.
"Can you hear yourself?"
"Yes, loud and clear."
"Do you then realize what comes out of your mouth?"
"Which? About me seeing your body?”
"Quiet, Elijah!"
"So, you really really know me, huh?"
"No."
"You called my name."
"Only your given name, not your surname."
"Should I make an introduction?" He drew his face closer to mine at this point, and I could feel the warmth of his breath on my cheek.
"For what other purpose? You have no idea who I am. " I smiled sadly, knowing that all he knew about me was that I was 206, the prostitute.
"Veronica Williams."
“H-How?”
"What makes you think I won't know you? I am entirely powerful. I can buy you if I so choose."
"In that case, why didn't you return to the island?" I bit my lip once more. Veronica! Put an end to your questions! You know what will happen if you ask further! You are only excavating your own tomb!
"Because I'm scared that if I return there, I won't be able to restrain myself and really possess you."
"How come you didn't do it?" I fixed my eyes for a moment on his and saw that he was astonished by what I said.
“Haa! You really drive me insane, Veronica." He tugged my hair and put his tongue aggressively into my mouth after biting my lip.
Touch me more.
Be more hungry for my body.
Desire me more, Elijah.
I felt like telling him of this, but instead crept my palm over his lumpy pants. I'm certain I'll have a fever tomorrow due to the rain, but that is now or never!
When he pulled away from our kiss, I saw my saliva blending with his.
He grabbed my buttocks with his hand and then nibbled my ear.
"Before we begin, Veronica, I just want to remind you."
I gently grasped the bulge of his pants with my intoxicated eyes and avoided looking at him.
"What?"
"Take a look at me." He raised my chin and kissed me once again.
"Hmm?" Given the fact that I was already staring into his eyes, he smirked at me.
"I want to emphasize to you that I am not a fan of sharing what I own."
“Yes, I am yours, Elijah.” I hold his hand and guide it inside my pants.
It entered my underwear and I can already feel his big hands touching my cut between my legs.
“You’re wet.”
