Kelly Clark’s Point of view
"All I want is a kiss, please give it to me."
"Wait a minute… Hold on!” I shoved his face away from mine and then gave him a crass expression. "There are a lot of people! Perhaps someone will come upon us!"
“And so? If somebody happens to see us, nothing will happen. In any case, we are in a relationship." He shook his head and then rested on the railing of the corridor. My position duplicated his, and then I lowered my skirt just a little, because it rose somewhat.
"There's no way. Don't you see that today's schools are much too strict? I am applying for a scholarship right now, what if I don't receive it and instead they decide to cancel it?"
I have a boyfriend. Our relationship has lasted over two years, yet I still refuse to allow him to kiss me. I also don't allow him to get close to my body. To put it another way, I have not kissed since birth and I am still a virgin. But, despite the fact that this is how we've decided to go, I can say that it's OK between the two of us since he respects me.
We are in our third year of college. I didn't get the scholarship in either of the two years that I applied since they only accepted two applicants at a time. Now, I've heard that they'll be receiving more this year, so I'm going to try my luck with that.
"Babe, it is valentine's day, the school won't mind." He was sulking but even though I noticed that was his reaction, I knew he still wouldn’t let me be guilty. I know afterwards he will begin to soften his tone toward me.
"Tristan Gareth, don't you have any idea what's going on in the whole 3rd year building today? Apparently, a couple was discovered by the professor and had to split as a result of their actions. Do you want anything like that to happen to us?" As the gusty wind passed, I rolled my eyes and brushed my hair back from my face.
"Are you serious?"
“Yep. After all, I've previously said that I don't want to seem clingy in public. I don't want to be called PDA."
"I think that's unjust. Since you began applying for the scholarship, we haven't always been able to get together. Why shouldn't I get anything as a thank you for being patient?" Notwithstanding his scratching on the back of his head, I simply sigh and mess up his hair.
"If I don't focus, I'm going to lose my opportunity. You are well informed that our lives are really different. I am not as wealthy as you." I exchanged a sour grin with him.
“Ah. Haaa. I’m sorry.” He gazed at the railings and down to the first level, where the students were passing by, and then he pretended to leap from the railing. I'm a complete disaster."
"Don't be like that. I didn't intend it in that regard." I smiled at him and then pinched the side of his tummy with my index finger.
"Why don't you just want me to pay your tuition?" He stood up straight and then adjusted his bag to his liking. “Well, it can’t be helped. Sorry again. I have to go to practice right now." He kissed me on the forehead and walked down the stairs without waiting for me to say anything.
When I saw his unsatisfied face, I called him. "Hold on a second!"
He came to a complete halt and turned to face me. I saw that he was looking at me with a serious expression on his face. I dashed up the steps and grabbed him by the arm. My actions caught him off guard, but he was even more taken aback when my lips came into contact with his.
I glanced around to see whether anybody else had seen, but it seemed like no one else was around.
"K-Kelly?" His cheeks were flushed with embarrassment.
"That's the first thing I can offer you." I’m sorry too if I’m getting busy. But, let’s go home together, okay?”
“U-Uh…” He still has yet to talk.
"I have an appointment right now; I'll meet you at the gate."
"O-okay, that's understandable... See you later!" As I stood there watching him run, he turned his back on me.
As I rummaged about in my pocket, I grabbed something and murmured to myself. "He'll be so happy if I just hand it to him. The meeting is about to start."
The reason I don't want to attend is because the people who manage the scholarship program are young businessmen. Not only that, they are a bunch of perverts.
