Nisha went straight to her cage turns her back against the sex scene. Vivian throbbed as she squirted, then she left. Maddox went in to the bathroom to take a shower.

Josephine woke up and found herself in an unfamiliar forest. She was tied with a chain to two strong trees. The strange person who tied her up moved closer to her and whipped her with a whip of thorns. She screamed out loud and tried so hard to free herself from the chains, but it were too strong. The stranger kept whipping her non-stop, leaving Josephine in so much pain.
..............
It was evening and Maddox was ready to sleep. He didn't say anything to Nisha and pulled up his duvet over his shoulders and slept off.
.......
There was fire burning on the roof of a castle which Maddox' name was inscribed on it. The fire was rapidly burning down everything and had gotten to half of the castle. Many people ran out of the case, crying in fear. Maddox tried to run towards the castle, but hit his head and fell. He stood up and noticed that there was a strong glass surrounding him. He didn't try to break it and watched in agony as his castle kept burning down. Then he noticed a lady moving towards him, it was the same lady he saw in his other dream. Her face was blurry, so he couldn't see her face. She got to the big glass surrounding Maddox, she stared at him for a while, then she placed her hand on the glass and it shattered. Maddox was shocked, as he didn't expect that to happen. The lady glanced at the burning castle, then Maddox remembered the burning castle and ran towards it.
Maddox woke up, it was a dream! He was breathing and sweating heavily. He saw Nisha staring at him in curiosity. Furthermore, he turned to the other side of the bed and went back to sleep.
The next day, Maddox woke up in a cranky mood. He took his bath and wore his clothes. The atmosphere seemed stern and still, as he was in a bad mood.
“Good morning.” Nisha greeted.
“Don't you dare greet me!” Maddox barked as his eyes turned red.
Maddox looked scary and the aura around him felt really dark. It made Nisha withdraw and curl up. He got downstairs and the maids felt it and tried their best to avoid him. Unfortunately, there was an unlucky maid who mistakenly spilled his food, and then he stood up, held her neck and carried her up. Her legs were shaking, and she was winded, he continued to strangle her, then he threw her on the couch. She coughed and tried to regain her breath. Tears filled her eyes and she ran shakily out of his sight. Vivian went close to him, stared into his eyes and placed her hand on his heart. He removed her hands away as he was not interested in anything at that moment.
“I'm not desiring anything, Vivian.” Maddox said.
Vivian went back to the dinning and everyone ate in silence as they didn't want any of Maddox' trouble. After eating, Maddox went out to the forest and growled as loud as possible. He was frustrated as he was baffled by the dreams he has been having. He went to the spot his father was killed and remembered that very night vividly.
“I'll make sure I avenge you, father. You were not even given a befitting burial. They are despicable than I am and Nisha will continue to suffer for all this. I have given her enough rest, and she should have enough strength to endure more torture. She will go through more torture than you were given, father.” Maddox said.
Maddox turned around to go home. He got home and went upstairs straight, he sat on his bed, thinking of what to do.
“Had a nightmare?” Nisha asked.
Maddox turned to her. He was stunned that she would ask, as he wasn't expecting her to say anything with the way he scared her earlier, but he ignored her.
“Mind if I interpret?” Nisha asked.
“You interpret?” Maddox asked out of curiosity.
“Not really, but, I guess?” Nisha said.
“Don't joke around with me.” Maddox said.
“You want to tell me or not.” Nisha said.
“I dreamt that I had a castle with my name inscribed on it, but it was on fire. I don't know what started the fire, but I saw people running for their lives. I started running towards it, but I hit my head on the barrier that surrounded me. It was a strong glass, I made efforts to break it down with my fists, but it was too strong to crumble. I stood there watching my castle burn into ashes, then a lady appeared and came towards me. She stared at me and laid her hand on the glass and it shattered. I was amazed, and then I was reminded to go save my castle, that's all. So, what does it mean?” Maddox asked.
Nisha sighed and thought for a while, then she looked at Maddox, whose curiosity was so obvious.
“Your dream is trying to tell you that there's trouble looming around the business you so much cherish.” Nisha explained.
“What about the barrier that stopped me at first?” Maddox asked.
“That's your ignorance. Your ignorance could be a barrier, and it will prevent you from doing the right thing. Now, your ignorance is shattered already, so you can go save your business.” Nisha explained further.
“So, you are the one who freed me from my ignorance of what's happening.” Maddox said.
“You can't really say. It can be anyone, but I was the one who asked about your dream, and you narrated it. So, it's obviously going to have to be me.” Nisha said.
“Hummmm… I must take a quick step on this.” Maddox said, under his breath.
“But, what business do you have here?” Nisha asked, out of curiosity.
“You've interpreted the dream and that's all I need to hear from you. Do not worsen things by asking questions.” Maddox said.
.........
At Sunrise Territory, Caleb, and Lucas are on the balcony, discussing.
“Father, every day, I get heartbroken imagining what Maddox could have done to Nisha. I miss her everyday. I can't bring myself to imagine her in tears and torture. She doesn't have the strength to endure any kind of torture.” Caleb said in agony.
“You worry about your mate, Josephine. While I worry about my daughter, Nisha.” Lucas said, patting Caleb on his shoulder.
“What do you mean, father? Nisha is my sister. I can't help but worry about her.” Caleb said.
“I know, Caleb. I don't want you to break down while worrying about two people who are precious to you.” Lucas said.
“I understand, father. I'm strong enough to worry about them both. The more I worry, the closer a solution will be. “ Caleb said.
“Have you sent troops to search for Josephine?” Lucas asked.
“Yes, father. They haven't found her. It seems she's nowhere near our vicinity.” Caleb said.
“Tell the troops to cross the borders to other neighboring towns. Hopefully, they find her.” Lucas said.
“I can't bear the thought of her, dead.” Caleb said.
“She's not! Don't be weakened by emotions, Caleb! As for Nisha, I have a plan.” Lucas said.
...........
Nisha watched as Maddox tore a sheet of paper and scribbled some things in the form of a letter. She couldn't fathom what was going on or what he was writing. He had called his general to bring him a bird messenger, then he made the bird clutch it claws on the letter, and it flew out of the window. Vivian came in after that, wondering what was going on, as she saw the general going upstairs with the messenger bird.
“What's going on?” Vivian asked.
Maddox ignored her, then left the room, and she followed him out. He got to the sitting room and paced around. Rogan was also curious, as this attitude was unlike him.
“Is there anything wrong?” Rogan asked.
“I've sent creed to Grace. I want her to prepare me a witch, as fast as possible. I have to go on an impromptu journey, but would do the usual when I get there.” Maddox explained.
Creed was the messenger bird they used to get in touch with Grace, a thousand-year-old soothsayer who oversaw many things.
“Oh! I see. It's impromptu indeed.” Vivian said.
A few minutes later, a witch arrived. She looked attractive and confident, she knocked on the door, and it was opened for her.
“You called for me, sir.” The witch said.
“I'll be right back, witch. I have to go upstairs. “ Maddox said.
He went upstairs and faced Nisha, who was looking bored, then he brought her out of the cage.
“Dress up. We have a journey to embark on.”
