The chocolate cookies made by my mother were the one item I consistently wished for when I was carrying my child. Once again, the reassuring and soothing aroma of melting chocolate filled our kitchen, and the aroma of love saturated the air throughout the space. Since I became pregnant for the first time, my mother has finally given me her recipe. This has made it possible for me to make them whenever I feel the need, which turned out to be more often than I had imagined. My dress was being pulled at by a pair of slender hands who were intent on obtaining their share of the feast.
The roseline The appearance of our eldest kid, Janina Black, was very similar to that of my own. She had my face, but Jason's thick, inky hair and his dazzling green eyes where mine had been. She also had my body. She was permanently attached to his hip, but because he wasn't there, she reasoned that it was a good opportunity to pay me a visit and snack on some of my cookies.
"Mama, are there any cookies I can have?" She was missing her two front teeth, which caused a lisp to develop in her speech. She was born two weeks earlier than expected, had a high level of intelligence, and had already begun to lose her teeth by the time she was four years old.
Oh, so you think you've been good enough to receive some cookies for your behavior? I was able to make her chuckle.
"You're right! I've had a productive day thus far.
Why don't you check with your brothers to see if they would be interested in any of it? When I prodded her nose, she giggled uncontrollably.
I am doing well, mama. After she had left the room, I went back to taking the cookies from the hot pan and placed them on a tray. A little time later, I heard some people applauding, and I looked up to see three sets of feet rushing down the corridor.
Rosiline joined her brothers in taking a seat on one of the chairs in the room. Icarus, who was my eldest child, took like his father in every way. At the age of three, he exhibited behavior that was noticeably more mature than that of other youngsters the same age. He enjoyed reading and keeping an eye on his older sister, making sure that she was not subjected to excessive roughhousing at the hands of the other children. Calix's eyes were like Jason's when he was two years old, thus he looked an awful lot like me. He never wanted to leave my side, even when he had to go somewhere else or when it was time for him to sleep. He was my wicked kid who was always getting into trouble, despite the fact that he was a peaceful youngster. I have not changed my opinion towards any of them.
After pouring each kid four glasses of milk, I then handed each of them two cookies since I didn't want them to become too excited before it was time for bed. They all took pleasure in staying up later than usual so that they could see their father coming home. When dad had to stay up late for work, it was tough to persuade them to go to bed, but they were aware that staying up beyond eight in the evening would have serious ramifications for themselves.
When the timer rang seven thirty, all of the cookies and milk that I had provided them had been consumed, and their cups were left empty. Jason made a timely entrance into the chamber, but as soon as he did, he was ambushed by three demon children.
"Daddy." "Daddy" As they all yelled, Calix was lagging behind on his tiny legs and trailing after them.
"Whoa." He laughed nervously while seeming to fall down.
It seems to me that the power you have is growing beyond what I can handle. The same thing happened to Icarus and Calix, and then it happened to Rose, who screamed as he grasped her after she had been hurled into the air for a relatively short distance. When their traditional greetings were through, he turned his attention to me. The group of children who were standing behind us all yelled and covered their eyes as one of them gave me a brief kiss that was quite passionate.
"Dad! " That is really repugnant. They complained about it.
"All right, you guys had better get ready for bed or I'll have to do it again," the speaker said. They scrambled to change and brush their teeth as quickly as they could since his tone was playful yet serious.
He offered to lend a hand as I cleared the dirty dishes off the table, loaded them into the dishwasher, and started it up. While I was putting the remaining cookies into a container, he gave me a hug from behind.
And how is my beautiful companion doing these days? While he was whispering in my ear, he gently pecked the nape of my neck.
"Utterly spent." I couldn't help but chuckle and smile a little bit at his humor. He slid his hands beneath my shirt and gently stroked my rather protruding stomach with his warm palms.
"How is it going with the fourth little one?" As the man had ordered, he stroked the flesh.
Being contrary or tough. causing me to start wanting cookies all over again. I commented on this as I brought the evening's fourth cigarette up to my mouth.
"I do not have any complaints," He remarked this as he placed one of his own cigarettes to his lips.
It's always nice to come home and find you preparing something delicious. He jerked me around and shoved me up against the counter while threateningly grinning the whole while.
On the other hand, I'm looking for something different. Even though we have been dating for four years, he still manages to get my heart racing in the same way that he did when we first began dating.
"Oh, really?" astonished the speaker. As I encircled his neck and mumbled to myself, I brought him in closer.
"And exactly what would that be?" I was humorous.
"You." He let out a soft grunt as he brought my face closer to his lips.
"Dad! " You gave your word that you wouldn't do it again. Rose moaned and squinted her eyes while doing so. Both Jason and I had a good laugh at her antics.
"I thought I told you to get ready for bed," he said as he lifted her up and placed her on his hip to remind her. "It's time for bed."
"I did." As she puffed, her arms were crossed across her chest.
"Mm, I see where you're going with this." He poured, then swiftly replaced it, all while maintaining a smile.
That, however, does not indicate that you won't be able to get away from the creature that tickles you.
She giggled nervously as she attempted to free herself from his hold. He lowered her gently on the ground and then watched as she took off. As he turned around to face me again, the pupils in his eyes deepened.
I told you that I will come back for you at a later time. He then gave Rose one more penetrating kiss before tearing off in pursuit of her with a purring sound. I couldn't help but smile as I listened to him 'catch' her and put her to bed. As I glanced out the window and up at the beautiful moon, I sent up a prayer of thanks to her for all she had done to help me and uttered a prayer.
