ARAIA’S P.O.V
“Mmm!” I stretch my arms and back because it feels stiff from a long time of sitting and waiting for nothing.
It’s really unbelievable that alpha alejandro let me sit beside him without doing anything for a long period of time.
He’s not talking to me ever and I know that he noticed that I want to go yet he still snobs me and continues working.
I also thought that I would starve there since he’s not letting me go but I was surprised when he ordered one of his servants to bring him snacks. I also remember the glare that I received from that servant when Alpha Alejandro gave me the snack that he ordered.
He told me to eat it Infront of the servant. That’s why both I and the servant were shocked.
I mean, who wouldn’t be?
What is he doing all of a sudden? Ordering food and giving it to your servant- which is me?
Although I wanted to leave that place at that time, I still decided to ignore the servants’ look and eat the food instead because I’m famished.
Looks like the maids and the others would bully me more because of what happened earlier.
“Ha…”
I can already hear Giselle’s voice in my mind shouting that I am like this or I am like that.
It’s funny because I am doing my best to ignore them and to stay away from them but when it involves the Alpha my plan isn’t working at all.
From the moment he carried me when I sprained my ankle to giving me the food that he ordered is enough reason for his servants, especially the maids who bullies me to be mad at me more.
Will I even get a chance to walk peacefully around here?
“Hey!”
While I was on my way to my room I heard Geronimo’s voice.
“Hey.” I greeted him.
I looked at him but I was stunned because of his attire right now, he is wearing something formal and he looked really handsome.
“Do I look handsome?” He asks. There’s a smirk on his lips, a cocky smirk.
“Yeah.” I shrugged, there’s no point in lying.
This is the first time that I saw him looking like this because although he looked decent before, those clothes that he is using doesn’t compliment him at all, it’s different to what I am seeing right now.
“What’s the occasion?”
I continued walking and he followed me. I wondered where he was going…
“It’s my girlfriend’s birthday today!”
Woah!
“You had a girlfriend?!”
It’s a news to me that made me stop talking and face him.
“What’s with your reaction?” His right eyebrow was slightly tilted, he has this expression saying that how could I not believe him.
I raised both of my hands to defend myself jokingly.
“I didn’t mean that way, okay? I was just shocked that you had a girlfriend because you never mentioned it before!”
I also thought that he likes me because he is sometimes clingy to me…how embarrassing!
“Well, I am not really that open when it comes to my relationship but yeah! I had a girlfriend for almost four years now.” Geronimo looked proud while saying those words.
“Woah…”
That’s all I can say because that really shocked me and I am embarrassed because of what I used to think about him.
We continued walking and of course he is teasing me because of my sprained ankle and the way I walk but I learned that he is going to his hometown. That’s why he will be gone for a few weeks. He also told me to take care of elf alejandro.
“How could I take care of him when I am like this?” I told him it pertained to my sprained ankle.
He shrugged and answered, “Who knows?’
Wow. What an answer.
He walks me to my room before he leaves to go to his hometown. He told me everything that I should do while he’s gone, I’m just nodding my head because I’m not listening at all.
I’m just excited to go inside my room…
When he’s done, I went inside as quickly as possible.
I lay down on my bed as soon as I reached it and stretched my arms.
“What a day!”
This day is really uneventful to the point where I need to sit on a chair quietly while waiting for Alpha Alejandro’s orders which never came. It was so uneventful that I had to watch someone working without saying anything…
I feel crazy thinking about it…
I wonder what will happen tomorrow…
“ARAIA!”
I turned around to find who just called me but was disappointed to see that it was just Giselle and her friends.
Why didn’t recognize her voice in the first place?
I was about to turn around because I knew for sure that what would happen is just her complaining about my work and my existence but she didn’t let me.
She grabbed my arm and stopped me from turning around.
Argh!
“What?” I asked irritatedly.
“Don’t ‘what’ me!” she shouted.
She is angry at me again…Nothing new…
I rolled my eyes and faced her.
“What do you want?!” I can’t help but to raise my voice thinking how she locked me up in that room causing me to sprained my ankle and now she is shouting at me?
How dare she get mad at me?
I am so done with her!
“Hey, hey, is what I am seeing correct? You are shouting at me?” She asks, there is confusion in her eyes.
I couldn’t help but to raise my eyebrow.
“It’s pretty obvious, unless you are deaf?” I said sarcastically.
I didn’t know that she couldn’t distinguish between shouting and talking calmly.
“How dare you!”
She was about to slap me when I caught her hand and stopped her.
I won’t let her do what you want this time. Even though I have fought with her in the past it seems like she doesn’t like to stop harassing me.
I am in this situation right now because of her and I am the one who is suffering so I won’t let her do what she wants because whatever I do they’ll be mad at me anyway.
I threw her hand and took a step forward that made her step back.
“You don’t have the right to slap me.” I said call me before I slapped her hard.
Her face turned on her right and everyone around us was shocked by what I just did.
They shouldn’t be shocked by this because they’re also the one who is always insisting on a fight so they should expect things like this to happen.
What do they think of me? A pushover?
“If you are doing this because of alpha alejandro let me tell you one thing, it is not my fault that Alpha favors me instead of you, okay?”
No one opens their mouth, they are just looking at us with a shocked impression on their faces.
“Why don’t you do better, maybe if you do that Alpha Alejandro would favor you as much as he does to me, but as far as I know it’s been so long since you have worked for him but why did he favors me more than you?” I took a step forward and leaned my face on her.
“Maybe because you’re not enough?” I added.
I watch them as their eyes widen, they must be shocked again by what I said but I’m just telling the truth.
They just need a little common sense to think about why they are still in that position.
“You must be ashamed of you’re incompetence.”
I couldn’t help but to add, I waited for them to talk back to me but I received none.
Now what?
I thought they would fight me?
I mean- I’m ready!
Where did the amazona and aggressive Giselle go?
I waited for a few seconds but they’re still not saying anything.
Argh, whatever!
I’ll just go to Alpha’s office because my duty is near, I’ll prioritize my work more than them since I already gave them a bit of my time. It should be enough for them.
I rolled my eyes before I turned around. I was ready to go when I felt someone pull my hair.
“Ah!”
“How dare you insult me! You’re just nobody like us!” I heard Giselle shouting while I’m struggling to stop her.
“Stop it!” I shouted back as I’m trying my best to stop her.
“You’re a btch!”
Argh!
She was still pulling my hair while shouting at me. I can now feel the pain in my ankle and scalp as well.
It hurts! I feel like my ankle would tear apart!
She’s swaying me too much!
When I felt that she didn’t have a plan to stop, I started to search for her hair. When I had it in my hand I immediately pulled it.
We’re now tweaking each other’s hair, no one wants to stop. Even the crowd’s not doing anything, they’re just there, standing like a mannequin!
Damn Giselle! I won’t lose to her!
I grabbed all her hair before I pulled it in one go, I heard her shout telling me to stop but why would I?!
She started it first!
I swayed her hard as well, who does she think she is?!
“You-!” Giselle’s shouting but I’m focused on pulling her hair.
I was about to snatch her hair downward when I heard everyone gasp. Even Giselle stopped moving. I was shocked when she let go of me in an instant and stepped back. She didn’t even fix herself.
What’s wrong with them?
I look at them confused, they’re all standing while keeping their head low. They’re not moving and as if they’re not breathing!
They’re funny! What’s all this? Are they playing pranks on me?
“What are you playing right now?”
I asked in annoyance, how dare you attack me suddenly and stop whenever they want?
This is making my blood boil!
Just as I was about to grab Giselle when I felt a presence behind me.
When I turn around, there’s Alpha Alejandro staring directly at me.
