Alpha’s Second Chance Mate Chapter 4

“What's wrong mama?" Derek asks looking up at me, his green eyes showing confusion on why we stopped.

Before I could say anything a black van pulls up beside us, three men dressed in black jumping out.

I immediately pull my children behind me, the children clearly afraid.

“What do you want?” I ask, getting ready to fight.

Snow, help me.

“Now lady, you can either do this the easy way or do it the hard way." One of them stepped closer to us and immediately getting into defense I kicked his chest, pushing him back a bit.

“You little.." He curses and all threw charges at me.

“Mama." Dristian and Derek cry, holding me tightly as they get pulled away.

"Leave them.” I scream, letting Snow take control of my body.

Alexia gets pulled from my body as I get electrocuted, forcing me to my knees.

“Leave my children, please." I beg, their cries getting louder as they get carried off to the van.

Why won't anyone come help us?

Move you stupid body, move.

“We are only doing our job." One of them says before something makes contact with my head, sending me into the darkness.

It's been three hours since I woke up and there's been no news about my children and no calls from their kidnapper.

I was left unconscious on the sidewalk while my kids were taken away.

“I'm sorry ma'am. We are trying as hard as we can, but with no leads there's nothing we can do. All we just have to do is wait till their kidnapper calls and says what they want.” The police man tells me for what seemed to be the hundredth time, staring at me with obvious pity in his eyes.

“What do you mean there's nothing you can do? Can't you trace the car's plate number? There must be something you can do." I screamed at him, fisting his shirt collar and pulling him towards me.

He seemed surprised by the strength I possess, his eyes widening a bit.

“You and Snow need to calm down. You don't want them to be suspicious of you, do you?” Kate my only friend whispers in my ears while pulling me away from the officer and apologizing.

She's the only one that knows I'm a werewolf in this town.

“Pull yourself together." She tells me after successfully pulling me out of the station.

"But my babies.” I cry, my legs giving off beneath me causing me to fall to the ground.

"You obviously can't find them alone, and I don't think the police here would be off much help.” She says but I'm not paying attention to her.

Thwack.

My face turns to the side, my right cheek stinging in pain.

“Crying won't help you find them. What you need to do is get yourself together and find help. What about their father? You mentioned he was some sort of Alpha. Can't he help?" She suggested and my mind immediately goes to Damien, the memories of him rejecting me three years ago flooding my head.

“No. There's no chance he would believe me and even if he does how sure are you he would want to help.

“Because they are his children!"

Now where would I find him? It's been three years and America is a big country.

“We need to find his pack. That way we would definitely be able to find him"

Snow says before once again blocking me. She's been doing that since I woke up, saying something and blocking me off immediately.

The first thing I did was to call Ryan, he is my friend and a pack doctor for a small pack. He was the one that helped me give birth to my children, if he wasn't there I probably would have died.

“Hey what's up." Ryan answers on the third ring, his voice sounding strained. I heard noises in the background and I think I called at the wrong time.

“I'm sorry if I'm disturbing. But where's the blue moon pack." I asked immediately, I figured going into details now was not necessary and I needed to be fast.

“Blue moon? Isn't that your baby daddy's pack?" He asked me, sounding clearly confused.

“Yes. I need to see him.” I say, almost begging.

"It's at the north, the only pack at the border of the country, it would be hard for you to miss it. Ari, I do hope you wre alright.” He says and then the line goes dead.

I guess we are going to the north.

It took three days of running in my wolf form before we got to the pack. Snow was more than happy to be finally let out after a long time.

“Do you think it would be alright to just go into their pack? We don't have permission." I ask snow while watching my surroundings carefully. I could feel eyes on me as I walked deeper into the forest.

“That way they would take you to see Damien fast and we would find our children faster." Snow tells me, but I still feel cautious.

It doesn't take long before I see people walking towards me and I stop. They looked like they were ready to kill me the moment I do something suspicious.

“What's your reason for being here?" One of the men asks me, staring at me with what seemed to be disgust.

I forgot how wolves that still have a pack look down on us rouges, like them even talking to us would taint them.

“I'm here to see Damien.” I answer back and they all growl at me, baring their fangs in warning.

What did I do?

I take a step back in fear of them attacking me when they glare at me with hostility.

“You are a rouge wolf and you just called their alpha his name without a title. Of course they would be hostile towards you.”

Snow explains and my mouth widens in an ‘o’

“Our Alpha doesn't want to see you. Be gone." The first man that spoke said again and I panic.

He has to see me, he has to help me.

After a lot of begging from my part, they finally agree to take me to see Damien. Pushing me in front of them like I was a criminal.

They took me inside what seemed to be the pack house, everyone we come across staring at mr weirdly. Knocking on what I'm guessing to be Damien's office door, the door is opened and I'm pushed inside, falling on my knees in front of Damien.

I look up slowly to meet his eyes, his green eyes widening in surprise when he recognizes me, the surprise being replaced with fury the next second.

“What are you doing here??!”
