Axel closed his eyes upon hearing what New Luna said. Womanizer? Maybe he was. But ever since Sophie stepped foot into this palace, accepting her new fate as his lover, some things have started to change.
Axel began thinking about her more and caring about her more. And he had never been this whipped towards a single woman. Not to mention, he managed to resist Rebecca...
Rebecca : Wasn’t all of this just part of his scheme to take her back? Axel moved his head forward to let their foreheads meet. Sophie was relentlessly changing something in him, invading even his plans... his world.
"You’re my only Luna," Axel whispered.
He knew he wouldn’t be able to tell her the truth. He didn’t want to hurt her charming and innocent queen. What had just recently happened was on him, and he was sure he wasn’t going to let it happen again. Sophie, on the other hand, felt that there was something more to what Axel said. His words seemed suppressed, but nevertheless, she neglected them.
Sophie’s distress was gone with the wind. Yes. She was his only Luna. Axel probably said that to erase her unsightly premise and to assure her that no woman could take her place, despite him being a womanizer. Those four words were enough for Sophie, and so, without further statement, she kissed him again.
The little misunderstanding was resolved just like that. Their kiss deepened, and Sophie already knew then where they'd end up. Sophie felt even more secure about her connection with the Alpha because of that. She felt like they understood each other more. It was crazy. It wasn’t a long talk. As a matter of fact, the kiss lasted longer than the time they spent giving out each other’s postulation. Sophie allowed her lover, the mighty Alpha, to take her again. But it was not just a pleasurable interlude. She felt loved in it.
Later that day, the Alpha and his Luna share a meal.Axel did not leave the house that day to make it up to his beloved. He wanted to erase his misdeed. But he felt like it was not enough. Axel tried to think of something he could do to make Sophie happy. And then he remembered seeing her plucking flowers.
Would that suffice to make her feel delighted?
The very next day, the Alpha himself ordered some of his men to deliver the most beautiful flowers ever seen in their land to the palace. He would have preferred it if he could take Sophie where they actually bloom, but he has to attend to his work as the Alpha. Sophie was still sleeping then, so he just planted a kiss on her forehead before he left.
It was two hours later when Sophie finally woke up. Yawning, she stretched out her arms. Her legs were still tired. But she was hungry, so she got out of bed to go out.
"Good morning, my lady." Flora greeted her with a smile. "Are you hungry?"
Sophie nodded her head. "Yes, Flora. What do we have for breakfast? "
"I cooked." Flora proudly said. The Alpha wanted me to make something you’ll love for this special day.
Sophie’s brows then puckered. "Special day?"
They continued to walk.
What is this special day that Flora just spoke about? She thought.
"Yes, My Lady." Flora smiled sweetly at her. "You’ll see when you get out."
Sophie became curious. special day? It was not the same day she and Axel met. What could it be? It wasn’t her coronation day either. Sophie had felt the need to know it, so instead of dining in first to fill her stomach, she asked Flora to take her outside.
Only then, Sophie understood what Flora meant. Axel’s men were lined up while holding baskets of flowers. And they only started to move when they saw her. One by one, they gave it to her. Sophie was surprised. These bunches of flowers were one thing, but their kind was another!
This type of flower doesn’t just bloom everywhere. She was certain it was special. Indeed, it was a special day, Flora. Did Axel order his men to do this?
Sophie felt overwhelmed. When did he learn how to be romantic? It was enough to give her butterflies! She knew she desired Axel, and had been admiring him ever since. But Axel... he wasn’t like this.
Has he finally decided to?
Sophie breathed hard. Her heart raced. She wanted to see Axel now and kiss him. What a lovely surprise this was. A smile was carved on Sophie’s lips.
"Did Axel really do this?" Sophie whispered, still astonished.
"Perhaps, this was his way of securing you..." said Flora.
"Securing me?" Sophie asked.
"Yes," He saw Jake yesterday and thought he was the reason why you were avoiding him. He, perchance, wanted to secure you by doing this.
He’s jealous...
Sophie’s heart danced. She felt loved. If what Flora said was correct, then she’d feel really happy. Now, she doesn’t feel like everything they’ve done so far was something else. It felt genuine.
The men left as soon as they finished their task. Sophie and Flora took all the flowers inside to arrange them.
"My Lady, if I wasn’t mistaken, this was the first time Alpha made a surprise..." Flora told her with a taunting smile.
"You’re making me even happier, Flora." Sophie gently said.

"You should be careful, My Queen." Edward’s voice was filled with concern.
His lover was bearing their child. Now, she wasn’t just living on her own. There was a life in her womb. A life they produced. A life that would complete them.
"I feel beyond euphoric, Edward." A devious smile came out of the Lycan Queen. "We will have an heir."
Edward hugged his queen, Rebecca, from behind. She was looking out the window. Rebecca just said a while ago she wanted to announce it. She wanted to meet the people on the border, but he was against it. His Queen will be sensitive hereon; he didn’t want to exhaust her.
"I am, too."
