’’The Galehorn Unicorn?’’ Elise said, tilting her head slightly. ’’Are you sure?’’
’’It might have a lot of strength, but I can imagine quite a number of problems appearing.’’
Theo only smiled slightly.
Though he’d seen the warnings about its pride and reluctance to fight weaker opponents, he felt like those were manageable problems.
’’Pride can be broken,’’ he said, raising his fist. ’’But limitations of the body can’t.’’
Besides, there was no way he’d miss out on gaining a summon with the space affinity.
Elise stared at him for a moment, thinking it through.
Then she slowly nodded.
’’It’s a risky choice... but I fully agree with you.’’
With the flick of her finger, the remaining soul fragment sheets flew off the table.
As she moved to pick up the next stack of papers, Theo couldn’t help but fall into thought for a moment.
’Will it really be fine, though?’ he thought, pressing his lips together. ’The summoning book clearly stated the soul fragment would play the biggest role in determining its personality and affinities.’
Thud!
Elise had already placed the next stack of papers in front of him.
Theo snapped out of his thoughts right away.
’’Cores now, huh,’’ he muttered, nodding slowly.
The remaining resources played the largest role in determining its strength and needed to match the soul fragment’s initial element.
’’I’ll start sorting the bones by wind element,’’ Elise said calmly. ’’If you do the cores, we’ll get this done in no time.’’
Nodding once, Theo immediately got to work.
Time rapidly flew by.
Nearly an hour later, they’d finally settled on all three resources for his summon.
’’I’ll contact the dean right away,’’ Elise said, tapping three sheets of paper on the table. ’’We’ll probably have the resources tomorrow or the day after.’’
Theo, who’d been leaning back in his chair with his eyes closed, nodded slowly.
’’Mhm,’’ he muttered. ’’Sounds good.’’
Many thoughts and concerns swirled through his mind.
’So the S-rank wind wolf’s bones and an S-rank Celestial Skylark’s core...’
Both had been really strong creatures according to Elise, which made them a suitable match for the Galehorn Unicorn’s soul fragment.
Even so, he couldn’t help but worry slightly.
’I can’t screw this up no matter what,’ he thought, his brows furrowing. ’It’s my only chance.’
’’Oh,’’ Elise suddenly said. ’’If you want, you can continue training Ocean’s Dominion.’’
Theo’s eyes snapped open.
He leaned forward and nodded once.
’’I think I’ll do just that,’’ he said, stretching his arms.
Elise smiled faintly, then disappeared into the staircase.
Before long, the sound of her footsteps completely faded away.
Theo let out a long breath and walked to the center of the room.
There, he crouched down and planted his fingers into several strange holes.
KGGGH!
A sharp scraping noise echoed out beside him.
Slowly, a familiar, detailed pedestal rose out of the ground.
A single ocean-blue manual stood on top of it, gleaming as the lights shone on it.
Without another thought, Theo snatched the manual and returned to his seat.
’Let’s see,’ he thought, placing it down. ’Where was I again?’
Theo flipped past the first few pages without a second glance.
Everything before him had already been covered during the bronze core stage training.
Only after several more pages did a new title come into view.
’The silver core stage,’ he thought, smiling.
Theo slowed down right away, leaning closer as his eyes swept across the pages.
After several minutes, he let out a deep sigh and stood up.
’Alright,’ he thought, closing the manual. ’Time to put it into practice.’
He rose from his chair.
With the manual tucked beneath one arm, he walked deeper into the underground complex.
Before long, he arrived at a narrow stone passage.
As he stepped in, soft blue inscriptions gradually began lighting up.
’The protection inscriptions are activating nicely,’ he thought, smiling.
It didn’t take long before he found himself inside a vast underground chamber.
The walls, ceiling, and floor were all covered in the same intricate mana inscriptions, preventing even the slightest bit of harm to the room.
Theo calmly walked to the center of the room.
’Okay,’ he thought. ’Bronze stage first.’
Letting out a deep breath, he closed his eyes and focused inside himself.
Gradually, blue water mana began flowing through his entire body.
Before long, a thin layer of water spread around him in every direction.
’There.’
Theo’s eyes snapped open and immediately glanced down.
The water layer had risen by more than two feet and spread out several yards around him. But instead of having wet shoes, he stood right on top of the water without issue.
’Perfect,’ he thought, nodding once.
Click!
With the flick of his finger, several long water chains rose from the water layer.
With another flick, the chains completely changed, merging together into a small dragon-like head.
’Okay,’ he thought, smiling brightly. ’That’s it for the bronze core stage.’
He closed his eyes again.
’Now the silver core stage.’
Inhaling slowly, the water around him rapidly began increasing.
Far denser mana ran out of his body, rushing to fuel the vast water layer.
After only a few seconds, the entire layer had risen twelve feet and spread out several dozen yards around him.
’Mhm,’ he thought, beads of sweat dropping down his face. ’Start.’
With the flick of his fingers, dozens of massive water chains rose all around him, dancing through the air as commanded.
Only a second later, he merged all the chains together, forming the same dragon, only now dozens of times larger.
’Absolute control,’ he thought, taking a step forward.
The water rippled below him, yet he did not sink.
’My first domain-type spell.’
No matter where his future enemies were, if they didn’t know how to fly, they’d get sucked into the water.
And whether it was his pressure mutation or a follow-up lightning strike... the opponent was guaranteed to die.
’’The mana cost, though,’’ he muttered, sweat dripping down his face. ’’It’s so many times more intensive than diamond core spells.’’
Without another word, he cut off the mana flowing into the vast water layer.
Splash!
He sank deep into the water immediately.
As the water washed out around him, the inscriptions on the wall lit up.
Only a few seconds later, all the water had been sucked away, dropping Theo onto the stone-cold floor.
He lay there for several moments, completely soaked from head to toe.
’That drained me...’ he thought, smiling. ’Really have to master it for that to be less.’
But he had another thought in his mind.
A moment later, a blue screen popped up in the air above him.
His gaze shifted toward it right away.

Divine Thunder God’s Body Spell Manual (Silver -> Obsidian Core)
The smile on his face slowly widened.
’’You’re next on my list.’’
