“Myrtle are you okay? You have been staring outside the window for hours.”
I was snapped back to reality after Cassine suddenly spoke beside me.
I did not realize that it was already break time and we were the only ones left in the class room.
It has been a week since that horrible incident happened and no one knew about it.
“Are you still thinking about that?”
Well, except from Cassine.
She has been by my side since the day I told her about what happened to me.
I intended on not telling anyone since I knew they will only laugh at me, thinking I am just a crazy day dreaming vampiress but I could not control myself anymore.
I just needed someone that time, and it turned out to be Cassine.
“What is happening here?” Our silence was broken after Cypress suddenly entered the room.
I then felt weird because after he came in, I suddenly felt energetic especially after I smelled him.
“Hmmmm, did you buy a perfume Cypress? I love it!”
I saw how surprised he was when I excitedly smelled him like someone thirsty for human blood.
“What is wrong with you today Myrtle? This is my usual smell and I do not think it is something to love about,” he confusedly stated.
I however immediately shook my head and slowly raised my head again to carefully smell him.
I saw how Cypress and Cassine looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders.
“I really do not know about her. A while back she was eating an ice cream then suddenly dipped a bacon on it!” Cassine exclaimed while flashing a disgusted look.
All I could do was laugh because of her reaction.
“Why? I just felt like they would be delicious and it does! Why do not you try it?!” I suggested but she only shook her head while raising both of her hands and waved it in front of her face.
“Na ah, I never dreamed of eating disgusting remixed foods,” she replied.
“Class president, our adviser wanted to talk to you,” one of our classmates suddenly said after entering our class room.
“Oh, I will be there.... Se you,” Cypress then said before rushing towards the door.
* sigh Why do I feel suddenly weak again?
I wanted to see Cypress badly.
“Did you tell your parents about it already?” Cassine suddenly asked after a while which made me shook my head abruptly.
I looked at her with pleading eyes before holding her hands.
“Promise me not to tell anyone especially my parents. They will disown me when they will learn about it,” I pleaded.
I saw how she bowed her head in anger.
I knew that she is angry because she could not do anything about what happened.
Cassine has been convincing me to tell the elders about it but I just could not bare to tell my parents. They have been very strict with me being friends with boys and they will not believe that I got raped since it was Ash, of course they will side with the queen’s son!
“I do not understand you Myrtle. What worse parents are not going to believe their child?” She asked once again.
“You do not know them Cassine. They may humble from the outside but... urmph!”
My statement was suddenly interrupted after I felt like something was coming out from my mouth.
“W-what happened? Are you okay?” I heard Cassine’s worried voice from behind.
I however did not respond when I felt something weird with my throat and stomach again. I hurriedly run towards the girl’s comfort room and found a sink.
I puked once again, but the weird thing is that there was nothing in the sink.
I then felt a hand slowly caressing my back which I confirmed to be Cassine.
“What is really happening to you? Did you eat something for breakfast that did not go along with your stomach?” She asked which made me shake my head in response.
“I do not remember.” I replied while walking towards the door.
“I knew it! I already warned you of not eating too much but you did not listen to me tsk. Now your stomach is complaining.”
I stopped and looked at her with a small smile in my face before mouthing the words ‘thank you.’
If I could only repay the kindness she was giving me right now I would have already did. But I do not know how since she is too perfect and I doubt that she is just a normal vampire like the others.
I did not ask her about it but I saw her one morning coming out from a royal car with four body guards outside not far from our school.
No wonder she always walked to school and did not ride to the school bus like the rest of us.
I however do not want to ask her since she already told me that she is from a normal vampire family.
I do not want her to feel like I am becoming too nosy for me to ask too much personal things about her when she does not want to talk about it.
I was about to walk again when I bumped into something strangely hard.
“Awh,” I complained while carefully caressing my nose which was the first one to hit the...
“M-master?” I heard Cassine call.
When I raised my head I confirmed that it was the least man I wanted to see today.
Our eyes immediately met but I never saw any regrets or guilt in his eyes.
‘ohhmp....!’
“Myrtle!” Cassine yelled but I continuously returned to the comfort room.
I just suddenly felt like the need to puke again and it seems like something is really going to come out.
To my disappointment, it was just another false alarm.
“Oh my gosh Myrtle what is really happening to you?! Why do not we go see the doctor and help you for a check up?” I heard Cassine from behind.
Even I am curious unto why these weird things are happening to my body. However, I can not bare to lose any more time with our final research before graduating.
“No, I am just tired.”
