...flashback.
Monday morning came and I started to prepare for school. I am a morning person, I like to wake up early, I do not even need an alarm to wake me except if I was very tired the previous night.
I took a warm bathe and dressed into short shorts and off shoulder top with my high tops, I grabbed my school bag and I marched to the dining room, tea and egg was already made, I drank tea with bread and omelette. Tea is my beat drink in the whole world, I can take tea anytime any day.
My mom packed my lunch, it was on the kitchen island, I grabbed it as I kept my plate in the sink and said hello to my mom.
"Good morning mom."
"Morning dear, I hope you slept well."
"Yeah, I hope you are not still mad at me."
"Not at all, I am actually feeling quite relieved after the promise you made me, I do not want my only child in harms way."
"Okay mom."
"Come on, let's go." My dad said.
"Good morning dad."
"Morning sweetheart, how are you doing this morning."
"Fine and you?"
"I am great thank you."
"Good."
"What did you pack for me in my lunch box?"
"You'll see."
"Okay! Bye"
"Bye." I went into the garage where the car was and I got in. We drove into the parking lot of my school.
"Have a nice day dad." I said as I came down from the car.
"You too hon."
I walked into the school with a smile on my face and straight to the janitors closet, I dropped my school bag there and grabbed the equipments for sweeping and mopping just then I felt someone behind me and I turned around.
Principal? And the janitor I murmured to myself.
"Good morning ma'am."
"Morning how are you?"
"I am good thank you."
"I have seen you have learnt your lesson and you have been doing your punishment diligently without complains for that you are relieved of your punishment."
"Thank you so much, thank you."
"But the next time anyone complains of you getting close to their car, getting too close for comfort you will work as the janitor for a month, not with the janitor."
"I have learnt my lesson, thank you ma'am."
"You don't have to come so early to school anymore."
"Okay."
"She should not have relieved you of your punishment, now I'll have to do it all on my own." The janitor moaned
"Suck it up." I said as I dropped all the equipments in my hands and grabbed my bag and then went to class.
I am super early so there is no one in the school, the staffs have not even start coming. What do I do? Just sit here and be bored, I brought my phone, I should check what's trending now.
I went on Facebook and what I saw brought a smile in my face.
Mr Dario, a man that has been assaulting and abusing his late lover's daughter has finally been caught and is behind bars, court hearing will go on, on August 21st, the police said he has an accomplice but her name is yet to be disclosed because evidence and proofs are not yet available.
I read aloud and his picture was also posted, I smiled at this, I will have to go to the police station after school to present the video that I have against Debby gold. I knew I wouldn't be able to get my hands on that video recorder pen so I decided to record everything that was said with my phone, I am feeling really good about myself.
I don't even have to go to the station I'll send the video to Mrs Amira right now and save it to my Google photos, just in case I accidentally erase it from my gallery, the video will be on my Google photos.
"What are you smiling about? And why are you not doing your janitor work? I wonder what the principal will have to say about that." Debby gold threatened as she walked into the class.
"You will be delighted to know that I have been relieved of my punishment."
"What?!!! Why?" She exclaimed.
"Right now I think you should worry about yourself." I told her.
"What do you mean?"
"I know you are Mr Dario's accomplice, and I have a video to prove it."
"Wh... What... What video." She stammered
"I have never heard you stammer, its a video that proves that you are Mr Dario's accomplice, and Mr Dario even confessed it himself and that's not all, I have a good news for you."
"What's it?"
"Mr Dario confessed that it was you that killed Azyma's mother." To say she was dumbstruck is an understatement, she looks like pale and white as a ghost.
"What do you want in exchange?" She asked me.
"You should be thinking of what you'll be doing in jail once you are sentenced to life imprisonment not trying to bargain with me." I said and the students that usually come early came into class.
I spotted Austin and he motioned for me to come meet him.
"Good morning." I greeted him.
"Morning, what's up?"
"Nothing much."
"Why does Debby gold look so pale? What are you saying to her?"
"I will tell you everything that happened, be quiet and listen." I said as I sat on his seat with my back turned to Debby gold and Austin grabbed an empty seat, and sat next to me.
"I am all ears fill me in."
I started from the part were my mom slapped me.
"Flashback."
"I do not want to talk about this with you ever again, I am sick of you always bringing it up and you are so cruel and wicked if you think I am doing wrong by helping Azyma and I am also sure that it is Dinela corrupting your mind against Azyma."
Whack!! she slapped me.
"You will not speak to me like that, I am your mother I care about you and I do not want you anywhere near anyone or anything that will hurt you." Before she could say more I walked out and right into the room, my dad must have stopped her from coming after me and that I am thankful of.
My mom has never raised her hand on me, never in my life but today, today she slapped me because I am helping someone, I can't believe this I really can't.
I think I should go to Mrs Amira's place to try talk her out of going to meet Mr Dario alone, maybe She'll listen to me, I kept the journal safe in my room where no one will find it.
I wore my boots and took a lot of cash out of my savings and my phone, I snuck out the front door and I took a cab to Mrs Amira's place. When I got there I knocked a couple of times before a man opened the door.
"I am looking for Mrs Amira,is she in?"
"No she is not,who are you?"
"Well uhm I am a friend of Azyma's and I just want to know how she is doing, the last time we met she told me both her and her husband are in charge of Azyma."
"Come in."
"Thank you." I went in, the house is very homey.
"My wife is not home she went to see a friend of hers." It seems she decided against going.
*Ring*Ring* "Excuse me." He said as he answered his phone.
"Where is the kitchen? I want a glass of water." He pointed in the direction of the kitchen as he was already engrossed in his call. I went to the kitchen and I took a cup from the plate rack, as I took the cup I spotted something behind it.
I reached for it, it seems like a note. I looked around to make sure her husband is not here before I read the note.
Honey, I am going to Area 2, the abandoned house 1km away from where people are, I have a hunch that, that is where Mr Dario is hiding so I am going there to confront him and make him confess to all he has done, I already have evidence but he can say I forged it or something, so I am going with a pen stuck to my inner shirt and as he is confessing all will be on video.
Please do not be offended or angry at me when you find this note, Mr Dario is a very dangerous man I do not know what he'll do to me, so if I am not home by 5pm please come look for me, I am very scared but I have to do this in other to bring justice for Axymah, please do not be offended, go to the police station and ask for Mr Akhila, he is the one in charge of Axymah's case, give him this note and tell him to come save me.

Oh lord help Mrs Amira, she is quite smart using a pen video recorder I could learn a thing or two if I stick to her a bit longer, she is also foolish too, I will show her husband this note so he can go to Mr Akhila, they will take him more seriously, I will just ask to tag along and if he declines I will go to the police station myself, thank goodness I took lots of cash.
"Are you done with the water?" His voice startled me, I turned around and put on a very worried expression.
"I am done with the water but..."
"But what, why do you look so worried?" He saw the paper on my hand.
"What is that?"
"A note from Mrs Amira, I saw it behind the plate rack."
He snatched it from me as fast as he could and he read through it, he turned his back and was about leaving when he suddenly stopped.
"I am going to the station, you should go home its getting late." I knew asking him to allow me to tag along would be a complete waste of time.
"Okay."
"I do not know why she is doing all this, what if you had not wanted to drink water, you won't have found the note and what are the chances of me finding it, and she could not even put it at a better finding spot."
"I think you should go to the station, she could be in trouble."
"You are right,she wrote here 5pm and this is quarter past five, I should really go, do you need a ride home?"
"No, you should go quickly."
We both got out of the house, I did as though I was looking for a cab till I saw him drive off, I called a cab and I was on my way to the station, I really hope Mrs Amira is alright.
I got to the station and I ran in.
"What are you doing here? This place is not for kids." A police officer told me off.
"Please where is Mr Akhila?" I asked him.
"Why do you want to know? Whatever the emergency is tell me we can help, Mr Akhila is not the only officer in this station."
"You don't understand please just tell me where he is, please."
"If you can't tell me then you are on your own, I do not know where Mr Akhila is."
I guess Mr Dario got here before me and they all left, I should go there but how am I sure what if they are not on their way there. I was exiting the station when I heard a man speaking on the cellphone.
"Sir a man came here and he said Hus wife went to come and confront you, they know where you are and they are on their way to come catch you."
"She left a note saying where she was going to now they are on their way."
"The only way in is through the back guard it and do not let anyone near there, I got it, I will go after them now."
I quickly exited the station and took a cab straight to the abandoned house, when I got there I saw two police cars there and a man yelling into a microphone for Mr Dario to release Mrs Amira.
And they really think Mr Dario us that kind of man that will give up without a fight.
I heard footsteps and I quickly found a place to hide, it was that officer that is working for Mr Dario. I stood in my hiding spot to try observe what he is doing. He is just standing there next to one other officer, maybe they are both working for Mr Dario.
The abandoned house is a two story building with roses and leaves stuck all around the sides and the back,it looks like it will collapse just by leaning on it, I wonder how the inside looks, focus Alero, focus.
The officer that was on the phone with Mr Dario (officer A) went to the back, I followed him to go see what he is up to but I saw he do nothing but stand there, he is probably standing guard, I should have just gone straight in, and I saw a gun behind him when he turned around, the question now is how do I get into the house and save Mrs Amira because whatever the officers are doing its not working.
