Between His Legs Chapter 18

Back In His Kitchen

Nku was back in Sen. Madu’s kitchen, preparing some enchanting omelette that would reunite their love. He took much of his time preparing his favourite Green Monster juice to soothe Sen. Madu and get him in form again. As he quickly ran around, fixing condiments, he gently swayed his right hand which was put on a drip at the hospital. He was eager to pull it off his hand the moment he noticed a hush of silence dominating the hospital, before he sneaked out. For staying away for two days, he was going to apologize to Sen. Madu, perhaps as succinct as possible. He believed so muchin their love and how forgiveness was their dispensable gift. He stared in the air and shook his head. He was done with Opula a long time ago and she stamped it the moment she raised her hands on him. Staying away from Sen. Madu for two days made him sick in the stomach. He inwardly agreed to tell him the doctor’s report and for him to apply caution in their relationship because he would want it to last until the end of time. If their love was a rain he would love to lie in it without a tent. His stilled blood and restless thought could attest to that. He wished Sen. Madu was single, that Aku was not on their borderline. He would have loved to wear his ring and proud to becouple till death. As Nku shook his head and smiled, he recalled within himself that nothing under the sun would make him forget their fertilized kisses, their soft touch that weaved out pains, their cuddles that heated their sweat to meet and every single gift and care that decorated their union. With too many wishes crossing through his mind; one of such was to elope with Sen. Madu for the sake of their happiness and beefing up their love. His worn out, painted finger nails caught his attention and then a closer stare at them promptly urged him to repaint them for the delight of Sen. Madu, perhaps to rekindle his latent desire for him.

His was startled the moment Sen. Madu came behind him and grabbed him from his back side. “I have every reason to roast you on this gas cooker for staying away for days,” Sen. Madu said closer to his ears, closing his eyes at the rose scent that ran through his nostrils.

Nku whirled around and their faces met at the junction of love, before kitchen-tailored kisses gummed their lips together. Nku could not let go as he pressed him to his chest; he was already feeling sorry with his watery stare.

“I have your breath with me. You can’t stay away from me for too long. How did you breathe?” Sen. Madu asked, using his hungry stare to write love letter on Nku’s face.

“That’s why I’m here,” Nku mumbled. “Breathing without you almost became a self-obituary.”

Sen. Madu quickly carried him into the bedroom, hungrily locking eyes with him with their hearts eclipsing their patience. The bed creaked under their combined weight and Nku caught sight of a newspaper right beside his head. He grabbed it and smoothed the creases out of the paper. It was one of the dailies inscribed in thick ink;Weekly Daily, with the chubby face of Sen. Madu looking unhappy on the front page. ‘Sen. Madu Refuses First Court Appearance’ ran across the top page.

“The whole world is against us, courtesy of your lawyer lover,” Sen. Madu said, and dimmed his eyes at him.

Nku cut in, “No. I don’t know her. She just came from the blues. Fine, we were good friends in Enugu but she just came to Lagos to make her legal debut with our affair.”

“I saw it in her eyes. She really wants to get you back through her legal might. But she doesn’t know love doesn’t wear wigs and gowns and shout in court.”

Nku sighed and wanted to tell him about his ordeals for the past two days when Sen. Madu hit his surprise spot, “I want to file a divorce,” he said and reaffirmed,“I want to divorce her, my wife. I want to have you in my arms without the fear of a dog that stole bones,” he said and let it sink into Nku before he said yet further,“We will leave Lagos for New York and then I can divide my time between Lagos and New York,” he said with a mean stare.

and wake up by your breath,” said Nku, holding his hands and fondling it softly.

Sen. Madu locked eyes with him and donated a peck on his forehead. “You will prove it tomorrow. Tomorrow is my first court appearance. I want you to testify in my favour. I want you to fetch us victory and teach her the failure of her life.”

“If I can take a bullet for you, even if my hand is pulling the trigger then testifying in your favour is nothing,” Nku uttered and smiled, with his pouted lips expecting some kiss.

“In less than two months I will walk you down the aisle and keep you away from those rabid dogs. We could be fulfilled and happy in the Big Apple,” said Sen. Madu with his erotic stare already devouring Nku.

“Then we can nail our love, added to the gum that binds us together. If we wake next to each other in the grave, please make sure we cuddle and sleep on,” requested Nku.

Sen. Madu smacked his lips at the freshness of Nku’s toned skin and the luxuriant hairs on his chest “If you don’t mind I would love to run through your body,” said Sen. Madu as he crouched quickly to his chest.

“Only make sure you win a gold medal,” said Nku and he shut his eyes with his face grinned in ecstasy.
