CHAPTER 11
ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV
I had a morning meeting with the Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack. They were not exactly an alliance pack but we had something in common we are working on together and that is why I am even associating myself with them for now.
I had heard some things about the pack, most of which were not exactly pleasant. When I'm done with this project I'm off, hopefully in the future no more but if more comes I will decide if I will or not.
"Alpha your ride is ready", one of my guards informed me as I nodded my head, telling him to go and I would be there soon.
A few minutes later had gotten all the files I needed and was on my way to my car. Sean was coming along with me, with some of my warriors. Soon we set out on the road, heading to the Blue Moon Pack.
"Welcome Lincoln", Alpha Luke Devon of the Blue Moon Pack welcomed me as he directed us to his office, once we were inside.
I took a seat as he did the same, "That will be Alpha Lincoln to you", I corrected him as he started laughing weirdly.
"Yes sure sure, Alpha Lincoln."
"Can we get to business? I am a busy man", I informed him as he nodded obviously and we got right to it.
We spent not less than two hours before we were finally through and I got up, "Thank you, for coming", Alpha Luke said.
I nodded my head and left, while he insisted on seeing me out.
On going out and almost getting to my car, which was already open for me, I heard screams, like cries or somewhat begging and I could swear that, the voice sounded familiar although could not quite make the face yet.
I was not sure if I was mistaken and I felt like just ignoring it but I heard it again and I changed my mind. I used my fingers as a sign to tell my guards to shut the car door, turning and walking in that direction.
"Alpha Lincoln, is there a problem?", Alpha Luke asked as he walked with me, "I thought you were leaving."
I wondered if he was in a rush to get me out of his pack, "I will be soon after I confirm something."
As I got closer, that's when I saw what was happening, a woman and her kids being manhandled. The same woman, Montana, and my blood just boiled and I could not stand the treatment, especially after seeing the first slap.
By that time I could not recognize her face but when I did and the man raised his hand to slap her again, I was forced to butt in, this nonsense will have to end, "Let go of her and her kids."
My words came out with a growl cause I was already furious and on hearing my voice, they all succumbed. Even their Alpha, Luke knew he stood no chance with me and just kept shut like a good boy he is.
Soon Luna Lola started yelling, telling Montana to take her bastard kids and leave and that was just the height of it I walked over to where she was, hugging her kids with tears rolling down her face and she seemed to be trying to not have a panic attack.
I helped her up and I knew what my hands did, cause I intended to get her to breathe, "We met again", I gave a small smirk.
And now I knew what I was about to do next would be something very drastic but it was my choice and it would give this Montana some respect and assurance, "And before you all assume", I made my voice to be loud and clear, calm and cold at the same.
"These kids are not bastards, they are mine", while i was saying this, I stared into her eyes and I saw the pain. The pain was a lot in just a person's eye, it was like I could understand her and share her pain.
I averted my gaze, my eyes now facing the people of the Blue Moon Pack, "If any of you lay your hands on her or my kids, I would have your head on a stake or maybe rip out your throat. Whichever seems fit to me."
I love the silence and fear that could be seen and tasted all around me, "Good, I'm glad we could all understand our places", I said to them as my final warning.
"Shall we?", I looked back at Montana. I already knew she would agree cause her eyes were pleading for someone to just take her out of this place.
She nodded and grabbed her bags and kids. I took her hand in mine, making everything I had said be true and she had no problem with that while the girl, Zendaya held her other hand and the boy, Zane held mine. I could still remember their names from the last time.
What did I just get myself into?
We walked to my car, "I brought my car", I heard her say to me.
"Where are your keys?", I asked softly. First time being this way but I did not seem to have a problem with that.
"Hold on", she said as she brought them out.
"Give it to him", I said to her as she gave it to one of my warriors, "The rest of you will take that car with us and we will ride in mine."
That was the order I gave as we all got into our various rides. Sean was behind the wheel, I beside him, while Montana and her kids were at the back.
"You will be coming with me to my pack, considering how everything went, that is the best option. My sister told me everything I needed to know about you plus I did some digging around", I made sure to let her know.
"I appreciate your help but we are fine now, thank you."
"It was not a request Montana."
That was how that part of the conversation ended and when we got to the pack, I had already informed Victoria and she took the kids with her as I asked her to, while I was going to have a word with Montana in my office.
I and Montana settled down and after a short talk which I supposed was understood by both of us, I said, "Let's get married."
