Bound By Agreement: The Alpha's Contract Wife And Twins Chapter 60

CHAPTER 61

ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV

It has been a few days now since Montana had disappeared, no news, nothing about her. Even my best trackers could not find her, she had covered her tracks pretty well.

It felt like she had been planning this a long time, or was it since our argument. I was really frustrated because I wanted to let her know how I felt, I didn't want her to be in the mindset of our last argument and leave.

But guess what? I can't find her. The kids told me everything that she had told them, none of it contained information about where she will be going to or when she will be back.

The fact that there was a possibility that whatever she was going to do was going to be dangerous, and she might not make it out alive. Worsened it.

Victoria was sad, but I think the later Montana gave her made her a bit understanding, but she was just angry that Montana did not discuss it with her, Instead of doing it alone.

Plus, Montana had made a statement in Victoria's letter saying, "There is nothing for me here."

I knew what she meant, the pack, the whole thing was just so complicated.

"I know that maybe she had something she wanted to do, and her leaving might not be all about you, or it might actually be about you. So what happened between the both of you?", Victoria asked me the next day after Montana's disappearance.

"And please Lincoln, don't lie or put up that act, I am not stupid," she added.

Even my parents were worried and would stare at my like a criminal who drove his wife away, which he did because of his pride and harshness.

Finally, I explained to them everything and explained my part too. Since the first woman I loved, died, it was a very painful experience for me and since then, I have not exactly been in love or thought about associating myself with that love feeling, until I met Montana.

Because, of the too much distancing myself from the love feeling, I failed to realize mine and realize how much I was hurting her with my words. I would say I don't care, but deep down I do care, just that I will push it away.

I just did not want to get attached, and then she would be taken away from me, but what difference those it even make. The more I think about it, the more I realize.

"We understand you, Lincoln", My father said, "But that will not serve as an excuse for how you treated her."

"True", my mum agreed, "Plus I noticed how much effort she put, and you just kept hurting her, she asked you about it right? Like you said, why are you fighting your feelings and even though you were not ready to talk about it, I don't think you should have said all those harsh things to her."

I nodded my head, everything they said was true. Plus, my pride would not let me admit it then.

"How do you feel about her now? Are you sure you do not have feelings for her?", Victoria asked.

"I have always been in love with her and I think I even fell in love with her from the first day I met her, when I was not even in my right senses, talk more of now that my senses are right, I have always loved Montana", I finally realized, confirmed and confessed my feelings.

The only sad thing was that, I was not confessing these feelings to the ones who brought them back to me.

Victoria tapped my back and sighed, "We will find her, we won't stop looking and if we don't, I guess we have to hope that one day she will be back. I think she will be thought, especially because of the twins. I just wish these feelings of yours got out quicker", she teased me, making me smile a bit because I have not shown my teeth since Montana disappeared.

"I hope so", I sighed, and my family was just there to comfort and support me, even after scolding me.

I may be a strong and powerful Alpha, but sporadically the strongest people need a little place to fall back to and rejuvenate.

"Daddyyyyy!!", I heard the twins, my kids, shout as they ran to me and I turned quickly, embracing them in a tight hug. They just got back from their training, the most precious things in my life.

And yes, I did another DNA test and the result was the same as Montana's own. I was so shocked and happy at the same time, "How was training?", I ruffled their hairs and gave them a kiss.

"Great, fantastic, it was really nice, can be a bit exhausting and stressful sometimes but nice," these were their replies.

I also shared the news with them that I was their real father and their faces, happiness was priceless, I will never forget it.

After then, I made sure they had a pleasant bath and food was prepared for them to eat, while they told me all about their day.

I already miss Montana. Occasionally, I will just go into her room and stay there for a while, helps me calm down.

MONTANA'S POV

I was dragged out of Lady Scar's office by that same hefty man. I learned his name was Vito.

He was far from being gentle with me or even anyone I have seen him with.

"Move those legs," he said while pulling me to Goddess knows where.

What the hell have I gotten myself into, and I was not prepared, my phone was not even with me or any weapon, absolutely nothing.

I still was not even sure if the witch I was looking for was here or where exactly in this place she was in.

A door opened, and I was pushed inside with Vito following me in and slamming the door, shut.

"What? Why am I here?", I asked, turning around to look at him.

The only word that came out from his mouth was, "Strip!"
