CHAPTER 66
ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV
I dressed up and sighed, rubbing my face and said, "Good riddance!"
"Good riddance to bad rubbish indeed," Victoria said as she walked into my room, as my door was, still, ajar.
"Do not even get me started, Victoria", I could not help but laugh because I knew where Victoria was going with such expression on her face when I looked at her.
"What?? I have not even said anything", she tried acting all innocent.
"You just have not vomited everything your brain is hiding", I accused her, still laughing softly.
"Well, was that Miss Ava running out of here like she has been hit with a truck? She looked cute in her, is she? The way she looked was just-", Victoria started laughing hard as she reminisced on what she has seen when coming up here.
"Shut up Victoria, you evil child", I laughed with her, but after we calmed our laughter down, my demeanor changed a bit, "I wish I had gotten rid of her sooner."
"Brother", Victoria sat close to me on the bed and embraced me in a tight hug, "Sooner or now, I am glad you got rid of her."
"Yeah", I nodded and ruffled her hair.
After some minutes of enjoying the moment, I pushed Victoria away jokingly, "Now, get off me."
Victoria pouted at me, "You are a meanie, mean brother, who does not want to hug his sister and cuddle."
"Yes I am mean," I agreed, trying not to laugh, "And leave too, leave my room."
But of course, Victoria made herself comfortable on my bed, even entering under the blanket and relaxing.
I just shook my head and left her alone, since her inner child has decided to come out today!
MONTANA'S POV
Well, that was quite serendipitous.
Okay!
I went in, since the door opened up for me. My heart was definitely beating, I could hear it from my ears.
I spotted the glass coffin in the middle of the room, and immediately I went closer, the door got shut!
I got startled and turned around quickly, holding my chest.
Then I turned back to the coffin.
"Deep breaths, Montana," I said to myself as I took deep breaths and then looked into the coffin.
This was the woman, the witch I had been searching for. But she looked dead and pale, although they said she was just asleep.
"How to get this open?", I thought as I went around the coffin to open it up but to no avail, I could not.
There was no way to open it up. Shit!
Alright, here goes nothing. I knocked on the coffin, maybe that would wake her up, but still, it did not work and time was going.
We had been able to steal Ryan's watch off his wrist, that was Aria's doing and checking it now, twelve minutes was gone.
I had to get out of here.
I retreated. There was no time.
Immediately I went to the door, it opened for me again by itself, "This place is indeed crazy", I passed the door.
And I closed by itself and I could hear the lock, signalling that the door was locked.
I quickly ran back to my position and thank Goddess, I came back just in time, cause that was when Aria and Ryan came back.
Ryan gave her Aria a kiss in front of me as he bid her goodnight and nodded to me, thanking me for watching out for them.
Him being grateful, was actually a surprise to me. Maybe not all were as evil as Vito.
Aria giggles and pulled me, she turned, and I turned with her, watching as Ryan had a huge smile on his face.
When we got into our room, we shut it. Actually, Ryan escorted us back and locked the room from outside when he realized himself.
Obviously, I was the one who unlocked the door from inside earlier.
My little trick was coming in handy these days.
"Tell me it worked because I did not just make out with Ryan for nothing," Aria said to me as she pulled me down on her bed.
I sighed and shocked my head, "I do not know Aria, it did not work, I tried every possible way to wake her up but none of it worked."
Aria groaned, disappointed.
"I am really sorry for getting our hopes up, but I am sure we can figure out a way to wake her up. We just need to find out how and wake her," I said, and Aria nodded.
"Alright, we will do that," Aria agreed and we both hugged each other, "Thank Goddess we did not get caught at least."
"Agreed", I chuckled, "Let us sleep, tomorrow will be a long day, especially for you."
"True", Aria sighed as I went to my bed.
Tomorrow she was going to be performing a strong spell.
And the funny part about all this is. I do not know how Lady scar was able to do it, but most of these spells hardly work out here in our rooms.
It was like this place was sealed in a way that no one can break out of it, and stuff like that.
I just kept thinking and thinking, until I finally fell asleep.
The next morning, I woke up, sweat all over my body. I was soaked and shaking.
Trying to catch my breath. Aria might have noticed what was happening and rushed to me, "Montana, are you okay?," she kept asking.
And when I was finally able to calm myself, I nodded, "I am fine, I am fine."
But Aria was not given the time to make sure about that, like I know she would when the door opened, and she was sent for.
She gave me one look, a worried one. Her eyes asked many questions as I squeezed her hand, "Do not worry, I am fine, I just had a nightmare, that is all," I said to her and smile.
She nodded, "Wish me luck," she said, and then left.
As soon as Aria left, I fell to the ground. I needed to relax, deep breaths.
One, two, three… I counted as I took deep breaths. I finally got myself.
I was very sure about it, very sure. It felt so real.
I saw her!
