CHAPTER 72
ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV
Today, I actually ended my alliance with the Blue Moon Pack. It was too much, I could not tolerate their nonsense anymore and the fact that they needed me more than I even needed them.
Point of correction, I did not even need them, but still, they do not know how to respect themselves. Just a waste!
Plus, everything they had done to Montana and my kids, added up, angering me. You know I almost ripped out Alpha Luke's throat today, Goddess save him.
Sean saved me, when he put his hand on my shoulder, "Relax."
I gave one last smile at Luke before we left. The smile I gave him was surely a message, and I hope he got the message loud and clear.
Something was just fishy about them and the way they work, getting to know more about their pack, I just could not and coupled with the way they treated Montana and our kids.
Anytime I remember that, I just feel like giving them a beating, but maybe not right now.
"I have always wondered when you will do this," Sean said as we walked to the car.
"Do what?"
"Cut your alliance with them," he answered, "I have never liked working with them, they are just tricky and all that, gives me the bad vibes too, you know!"
I nodded, "Yeahh I just needed to put up with it for some time, get what I needed and end it."
"Thank Goddess," Sean said as we got into the car and left the Blue Moon Pack.
I was the one driving, "How about we go for some drinking? I don't feel like spending the rest of my day in the pack."
"Heard anything from her?", He asked me, knowing that lately I have been more bothered, especially with the fact that I had no idea whether she was doing okay or not.
I shook my head and sighed, "No, nothing, I am worried, and I hope she is okay. I truly want to see her again and explain my reasons, I was just scared of loving too much."
"I know bro and you guys will meet again, and I stand on that fact, especially because of the kids. There is no how Montana would not come back for them", Sean assured me, "You know how much she loves them and for her to trust them with you, with us."
At this point, I remembered that I had not told Sean, everyone else knew, my parents, Victoria, but I was not sure, I told Sean, "The twins, they are mine."
"Of course they are", He smiled, "You have grown to love them as your own."
"No no Sean that is not what I mean", I stopped him from misunderstanding even if he already had, "What I mean is that, the kids, they are mine, by blood and DNA, everything."
"What???!", Sean exclaimed, and I turned to him, to see a shocked expression on his face, "You mean the girl, you talked about, that one, the one night, the one you felt a spark and pull with, is Montana???"
"Yeah yeah, she is the one and in her letter she had explained that her drink had been spiked and stuffs like that, like can you believe it?", I took a deep breath, my self-control has been a bit low lately, "This is just one of the reasons why I what nothing to do with that Blue Moon Pack."
I told everything that Montana had written to me in that letter. When I showed Victoria, I think she already knew.
"I should have let you hit him," Seam said, regretting when he stopped me and asked me to relax, "Punch him square in his face."
"Yeah I did not even know there was a second later until I checked inside the envelope. I am glad she told me all this, I just wish it was in person, and we had more time to talk", I confided in Sean.
"I understand you", He sighed, "I honestly wish I could do something to find her but with the way things are, she really does not want to be found. We can keep trying though and see."
I nodded, and he patted my back, "Don't be so hard on yourself, I am glad you realize your mistake and want to make things right. Right now, though, I need you to free yourself a bit, okay? Cut yourself some slack, let us head to a bar or something, have some drinks, have a little fun."
"What do you say?", He asked.
"Alright sure, sounds like a plan that I already made and told you about", I rolled my eyes.
"Well can't you just let me have the win, and we pretend I was the one who brought up the idea and the best, caring friend?", Sean laughed.
I started laughing with him, "You wish," I said to him as I made the next turn, heading to a bar, a good bar we both go too from time to time.
"Well, it has been a while since we came here," I said as I parked properly in the parking side.
"It has. Alright, let us go have some fun," Sean said, bringing up the spirit.
If Montana knew how much I missed her.
MONTANA'S POV
I looked up at him, his eyes, his lips. Well, that was a sight to behold.
After a minute of whatever that was, I came back, yeah I got my mind back and cleared my throat, moving away from him.
"Sorry, sorry", I apologized.
"That is okay," He said softly, with a smile.
I smiled back, "And thanks for the save too, it was a good one."
"Glad I caught you, just in time", was his response. He was dressed in a suit, although he held his jacket in his hands, he looked excellent and hot.
"Alright then, thanks once again. If you would excuse me", I smiled one last time and moved to the other direction to leave, but I was stopped when he grabbed my arm softly.
"Sorry, may I know your name?", He asked, and I turned to him.
"Of course, My name's Montana, nice to meet you," I said, it was indeed nice to meet him.
He nodded and introduced himself, "Finn Gerard, nice to meet you too."
