CHAPTER 88
ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV
I had already contacted my best trackers to sniff whoever came here, sneaked in and kidnapped my daughter.
The fear now was that we had no idea if she was dead or alive because of the amount of blood that decorated her bed and the floor.
Montana looked devastated, she looked like she has shut down, and I could feel the anger seeping out of her, "There is a letter," she said to us, with gritted teeth.
"What does it say?", I quickly walked up to her.
MONTANA'S POV
I sighted the letter, it was easy to sight, given as it was kept in a place where one who got close to Zendaya's bed would see it.
And the letter said, "For Montana."
I told Lincoln about the Letter and read it out loud, "Be mine, and she lives, that is if she is not dead. Your daughter. Accept my proposal and everyone has to leave a happy life.
Your future love and mate,
Finn Gerard."
I covered my wide mouth in shock when I was done reading, my breathing hitching.
"The audacity", Victoria spat out angrily.
Then my phone rang, it was Finn, I picked up immediately, "What have you done? Where is she? Where is my daughter?"
"When you come to your senses and come to me, I will be waiting for you. We can all live as a happy family, your kids will learn to love me," Finn said through the phone and I could feel him smirking. Just this feeling that he was enjoying this. This stupid power he thinks he has over me.
"You bastard!", I yelled, "She is just twelve, please."
"Then come faster, do not do anything stupid. You can bring witnesses, but you will get back to your daughter safely after you signed a document which makes you mine and only mine."
I squeezed the phone tightly and whispered, "If anything happens to my daughter, I will hunt you down", my voice filled with anger, pain and death, "And I will kill you, slowly."
Then I ended the call.
"Zendaya should be in Finn's pack," I informed Lincoln.
"Get your best arrow shooters and assassin's to go there and fix themselves in a nice spot, that gives us freedom to take out whoever, even in Finn's pack," I told Lincoln and got up.
"I am going to get my daughter back."
Lincoln wasted no time, rallying his troops.
"We will need a healer, we do not know how bad, she is or whatever they have done with her, so just in case, we need one," I informed Victoria.
"Already on it", Victoria nodded.
"We go small", I stood next to Lincoln and said to him. We did not need big for Finn, small will be enough for what is to come for now and if not, then we come in big.
I knew he had questions to ask about how I know all this and how I am able to put all this together, "You can ask your questions later, but the most important thing now, is making sure that Zendaya is safe and getting her back."
He pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. I relaxed in it, his scent, I needed it to help calm me down a bit, "We will bring her back unharmed."
I nodded into his chest, hugging him tighter.
"Alpha, Luna, we are ready," Sean informed us, and we broke the hug and nodded at each other.
We loaded up and got in. The ride to Finn's pack was like an hour. I kept praying that she was okay and Zane was distressed about his sister, he did not stop crying.
He saw his sister's blood, I cannot blame him.
We reached Finn's pack, and it seemed like they were waiting for us.
Following Lincoln's eyes, I think he was counting how many of Finn's warriors were on standby and watching closely.
Our car stopped and we got down.
"Where is your Alpha?", Lincoln asked one of Finn's warriors, his eyes getting too dark. I knew Lincoln was an Alpha who can tap into his werewolf form without transforming. That was rare.
"I heard someone was looking for me", I heard a voice I did not want to hear, break the silence from Lincoln's cold tone.
"Where is my daughter?", Lincoln growled out as he stepped forward, but Finn's warrior put a hand on his chest and stopped him.
Ouuu... I do not think that was a good idea.
Lincoln sized the warrior, grabbed that hand that was on his chest, twisted it and then brown it. Crack!
"Now, now Lincoln, leave my warriors alone", Finn laughed sadistically.
Lincoln pushed the warrior who screamed from his wrist being broken away from him and then dusted his shirt.
"Now I will ask for the last time, Finn… Where is my daughter?", Lincoln asked again as Finn now stood in front of us, not close, though.
"Your pack is nothing where my pack is, and we will wipe out every single person in your pack before you blink," Lincoln threatened.
"We all know your threat is real, but you do that and…", Finn held out his finger, slowly moving it around his throat, telling us what will happen if we do otherwise, "Slit…there are different ways I could kill her though."
"Why?", I was forced to ask, "Why would you do this to me? To us? Our friendship?"
"Friendship?", Finn repeated after me, laughing loudly, "Did you say, Friendship?", he asked again, while laughing like a mad man.
"I do not have time to re-explain. I am certain you know all my reasons for doing this", He stopped laughing and looked at me, "Your daughter's life is in your hands now, she has lost enough blood already, the sooner you sign the documents that will be handed to you, the better."
Finn ordered for his guards to bring my daughter. For the first time since that night, I saw my daughter, she really was bleeding and looked weak, "Zendaya," I whispered softly, taking in her form.
Besides me, Lincoln was fuming as Finn grabbed Zendaya by the hair and positioned a knife at her back, "Sign," he ordered, "Or this knife disappears into your daughter's back."
"Mum No!", Zendaya shouted weakly and Finn pulled her hair tightly, telling her to shut up.
I was scared for my daughter's life. Even Lincoln had let down his pride and asked that Finn release his daughter.
I shook my head, noticing what Zendaya was about to do, using that to tell her not to do what she was thinking. It will not work.
"I will not have a man like this as a father figure", Zendaya screamed out with what, I think, was her last energy and used her back head, giving a strong nod on Finn's nose.
But of course, she was unable to get out of his grip in time when he retaliated.
I saw the knife disappear into Zendaya's back like Finn had warned us earlier, and Zendaya's steps paused as blood pooled out from her mouth.
I had reached the boiling point and I screamed so loudly, "ZENDAYAAAAAAAAAA!"
Whatever that will happen next, will be me, unleashing my wrath.
