Bound By Agreement: The Alpha's Contract Wife And Twins Chapter 95

CHAPTER 96

ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV

I followed Montana's gaze to the people she was staring at.

"Did you invite them?", she asked me.

"I did not. They are coming," I said.

Alpha Luke and his companions, which included his Luna, Lola with her parents.

"Alpha Lincoln, it has been a while", Alpha Luke said in a friendly tone, outstretching his hand for a shake.

I only stared at him, while having a questioning look on my face. He withdrew his hand and clasped it with the other.

"What are you doing here?", I asked him, straight up. No time to waste time.

"Oh I came for your wedding and coronation of course," He answered while looking around, "Beautiful, and I am famished, lots of food too and drinks, cannot wait to get this party started."

"I do not remember inviting you," I told coldly.

"You did not", He gave a smile which I obviously knew was fake, "But we took it upon ourselves to bless you with our presence."

Montana scoffed and let out a breath of exhaustion. Indeed, he was exhausting.

"Your presence is not needed here, so I suggest you leave the same way you came," I ordered.

"Easyyy there, it is not that serious," Luke said, holding out his hand in surrender playfully.

MONTANA'S POV

"Do not tell my mate easyyy", Montana mimicked the easy part, "Leave at once, your presence is not welcomed here Luke!"

He turned his attention to me, "I was coming to you, Montana, no need to rush, I did not forget my first love."

I laughed, "You should be ashamed of yourself saying that, like I am ashamed of you," I told him, still laughing.

"Who are you here to deceive?", I questioned him, raising my right brow.

"Do not talk to my mate like that either", Lola butted in.

I looked at her, from head to toe, "who is this?, if none of you want to be talked to like that, then you leave. It is that simple."

"How dare you disrespect us that way. I am your father", That wretched old man came up to the front, "show some respect for your family."

Presently, I do not want to even try to understand what is happening. Like I would rather not reason these people's matter or what their goal is here cause sincerely they are not making any sense.

Talking like mad people.

"Get out!", I told them, using my tongue to lick the front of my teeth. A sign that I was getting impatient.

They were still there.

"I said, Get out, or I will throw you out myself and listen to me carefully…", I warned, "Whatever delusions that have clouded your mind to think I am your family, find a solution to that rubbish thinking because I am not your family."

"You heard her. I would not like to repeat myself again," Lincoln said, his eyes already changing.

It is unclear to me why they just want to ruin my happy mood for me with their foolishness.

"Alright, alright, but before we go. Accept our gift," Luke said as Lola handed whatever gift it was to him, and he handed it to us.

Except for the fact that we did not take it, "Thank you, but take that along with you."

I knew Luke was getting upset, with the way he clenched his jaw and stared at me like he wanted to make me regret or suffer.

Maybe before I would have been terrified but right now, he has to be joking because I stared back at him, my eyes flashed a bit and I had this low growl come out from me.

He had no idea his time was ticking, not even for this, but for what his pack did to mine. It seemed like no one knew that it was his pack that destroyed mine and everyone in it.

Aunt Calista had told me that their faces were covered and plus the information from my mother's best friend that is how we know it was them.

"Very well then, we shall take our leave. Enjoy your party," Luke said with a curt nod as he turned around to leave, his minions following him.

"Disgusting, can you believe the things they said? How?", I turned to Lincoln, venting out how annoyed I was by those behaviors of theirs.

"Relax love", he cupped my cheeks, "The good thing now is they are gone and this is our night, we should not let anyone ruin it, especially not those people."

I huffed and nodded.

He pecked my lips, and pulled me by my hand, "Come on, let's dance!"

After some dancing it was not time for the Lantern release, my favorite part of this evening aside from my wedding and the rest, this was very much important and lovely.

An open location in the pack was already available, we all would just have to step outside for this.

"Attention please!", Lincoln stood in front of everyone with me, as he used his champagne glass and a little spoon to get everyone's attention.

"Next on the list is the Lantern release, so please get ready for that," he informed them.

So, with that said, we all stepped out to the open area where the lanterns would be released.

Workers had obtained the biodegradable paper lanterns and small candles for everyone who would be participating in the release.

I was the one who provided the instructions on how to assemble and prepare their lanterns for the release, just In case there was someone who could not for safety measures.

Thereafter, markers or pens were provided for everyone, where everyone was given a moment to write their wishes, blessings, or hopes down for their Alpha King and Luna Queen and also for themselves on the paper lanterns.

"This is so nice," I said to Victoria, who was by my side.

She smiled and agreed, "I know right. Married woman", she teased and wiggled her brows in front of me.

I giggled softly and stole a glance from Lincoln.

Now once the lanterns were prepared and messages were written, we all stood properly and on Lincoln's signal, we lit the candles inside our lanterns.

And with a gentle push, we released our lanterns into the night sky, watching as it went gracefully into the air.

Everyone took a moment to watch the lanterns go.

It was Serene.
