CEO'S ROMANCE Chapter 5

Three days passed and Sayam didn't see Gia. All he knew was that her grandfather was sick and she flied to some other country that night.

The next day, a lady came to meet him. She told him that she was instructed to take him for a shopping as Gia didn't want him to wear those cheap clothes in the house.

And from that lady, he came to know about Gia's obsession of keeping pretty things.

Sayam called his mother to tell her that he got married but didn't get any response from her. She congratulated him and cut the call as she was busy in cooking a dinner for his brothers. She didn't invite him nor she asked him anything else. He was heartbroken over his mother's response.

From childhood, he sacrificed everything for his brothers. His parents never celebrated his birthday but instead they will ask him to blow the candles in the same cake after his elder brother had celebrated his birthday.

In breakfast, his brothers will get to eat egg but for him it was just a toast with a glass of water because according to his parents he didn't need much food.

Jimmy was the only one who always celebrated his birthday. He would share his lunch with him in school so he could eat something instead of drinking water. Sometimes Jimmy would bring fried egg for him so he could eat his favorite thing.

"You got married? With who? How can you cheat on me like this? I thought you loved me....Why? why you did that with me."

Jimmy was crying non stop while Sayam was patting his head. Jimmy wasn't a friend to him but he was more like a brother.

"I can't believe you are married. You sold yourself to that rich bitch..."

Jimmy cried loudly while Sayam rolled his eyes and punched his shoulder who suddenly changed his expressions.

"Is she ugly? How rich is she? Ask her to lend me some money? I need money. My cafe is not doing good these days."

"Fine. Can I drink my coffee now?"

Sayam became irritated as he didn't like how Jimmy was talking about Gia. Jimmy quickly got up as a customer entered the cafe.

Sayam lazily entered the house and found something unusual. The house felt quite and cold. Even Rocky and JoJo were not making a noise.

He called both of them who didn't appear like usual.

He was walking further inside the house, wondering what was happening when a voice startled him.

"They are gone for grooming."

He turned and saw Gia sitting on the couch while reading a file. She had thin golden frame glasses which were making her cute. Sayam's heart skipped a beat.

"Hey. You are back. How's your grandfather?" He sounded excited.

"You look different." Gia removed her glasses and scanned him.

Sayam do looked change. He became more handsome thanks to her money.

"I changed my hairstyle." He touched his hairs.

"Do you like them?"

"It's pretty." Gia again wore her glasses and picked a beautiful custom make pen from the table.

Sayam sat on the next couch.

"How's your grandfather?"

"That old fart is still alive."

"Hey... don't curse like that." Sayam tried to stop her who completely ignored him this time. Sayam sat there awkwardly as he wanted to talk to her but she wasn't in the mood.

"Do you want coffee?" Sayam was trying to find a topic to talk with her.

"Hmm."

Sayam got up from the couch and happily walked towards the kitchen. He was an expert in making coffee and he was sure that she will like it.

Soon he came back with a cup of coffee and placed it in front of Gia. Gia picked it and took a sip.

"It's good." She nodded and placed it on the table while Sayam felt shy on her compliment.

"I think I am falling for fer." Sayam touched his cheek which was burning. He was feeling hot so he picked the remote to change temperature on aircon.

Gia glanced at him and a knowing smirk appeared on her lips.

"Pretty." She murmured.
