“I don’t like to be here, Mom... I want to leave this pack as soon as possible..” Morgan kept whispering those words while he was hugging Veronica tightly. Morgan closed his eyes, and his tears didn’t stop flowing from his eyes. He was so mad and sad to have Jaxon as his father. He wished he had another father who would treat him right and love him as his son.
Morgan’s words made Veronica’s heart stabbed by a million needles. Veronica understands why Morgan was uttering those words because he was hurt by how Jaxon treated him. Tears escaped from Veronica’s eyes. She bit her lips to suppress the sob that she was about to do.
“Mom. It’s fine with me if we are only two. I don’t want to see him. I wished he wasn’t my father.” Morgan's cries and words made Jaxon stunned, especially since it was his second time hearing Morgan saying those words.
Does Morgan didn’t want him to be his father? He loved him, but he couldn’t even treat him right because he was born to be like that. Jaxon knew it wasn’t a good reason because it would be useless if he kept blabbering some reasons to defend his side.
“Morgan..” Jaxon called his son, which made Morgan clench Veronica’s clothes. Morgan aggressively shook his head and tried to hide in Veronica’s chest.
“No! Mom, please, don’t give me to him.”
“Mom, I’m scared..”
“Mom, don’t leave me with him.” Morgan sobbed harder that he almost couldn’t breathe properly. His words made Jaxon gulp in so much regret. Jaxon stepped forward, which made Morgan more violent.
“No! Mom, don’t let him take me! Please..” Morgan cried and moved away from Veronica when he heard Jaxon’s footsteps. His eyes were swollen, and he violently shook his head.
“Morgan. Please listen to Mom..” Veronica’s heart was heartbroken. She couldn’t bare to see that her child was like a crazy person. She bit her lips and tried to run away when Jaxon grabbed him, making Morgan panic.
Morgan started to punch Jaxon’s chest and back when Jaxon tried to carry him.
“N-No! Put me down! Ahhh— help me!” Morgan frustratedly screamed and continued punching Jaxon on his back. He gritted his teeth, and all he wanted to do was be away from the man he hated most.
“Morgan, honey!” Veronica felt that her heart was pounding too fast. She was worried that something terrible might happen to Morgan, or maybe Jaxon threw Morgan since Morgan kept punching him.
“I don’t like you! I hate you so much!” Morgan bit Jaxon’s shoulder, which made Jaxon almost drop him in surprise.
Little Morgan was so furious at him that Jaxon let him do whatever he wanted to do with him. Morgan didn’t stop until he finally lost consciousness.
“Morgan!” Veronica shouted. She ran towards Jaxon and checked if Morgan was fine.
Veronica knew that Morgan liked to be out of this pack. Veronica didn’t even know what she would do. She loved Morgan so much but what about Jaxon?
“Alpha Jaxon, what happened with the Prince? I heard him shouting.” Uriel came inside and widened his eyes when he saw Morgan unconscious. Uriel came forward and was about to get Morgan when Jaxon moved away.
“Let me take him to the hospital. It’s my fault.” Jaxon murmured. He glanced at Veronica, and there was a fear in his eyes that he didn’t want Veronica to see. Jaxon sighed and started walking because he knew that Veronica would follow him.
Uriel watched Jaxon going out of the room. He was surprised, but he stopped himself from commenting. Uriel looked at Veronica, and he couldn’t stop looking at her from head to toe.
“It’s good news that you are awake now, Luna….” Uriel uttered, which made Veronica bow her head because she was embarrassed that Uriel was trying to have a conversation with her. Veronica and Uriel began to walk out of the room, and Veronica bit her tongue not to say anything.
It looked like Uriel didn’t even know what he looked like when he went to Morgan. Morgan didn’t have any clothes on the top of his body. Veronica didn’t even know that Morgan had a good body figure.
Veronica looked away before she decided to inform Uriel, “Uriel. I want to say that you are such a hardworking Beta here in this pack. It’s fine with you to do your work without even thinking if you are naked.”
Uriel was stunned. He was confused, which made Veronica laugh so hard.
“Why don’t you look in the mirror so you will know what I mean..” Veronica muttered and walked so fast because she was embarrassed to see the fantastic body of Uriel. She didn’t even know that Uriel had six-pack abs because he always used his uniform.
Uriel was lost. He couldn’t understand what Veronica was trying to tell him. He looked around and saw that some ladies looked at him with so much admiration. Uriel shook his head and was about to follow Veronica when his eyes stopped in the mirror. His eyes became more extensive when he saw that he didn’t have clothes from the top.
“Beta Uriel, you have a perfect body. It’s tempting us because we all wanted to touch your abs.”
“Yes! We all wanted to see your abs. Please, can we touch it?”
“Beta Uriel, give us a chance.” Some women had a crush on Uriel, which made Uriel blush in so much embarrassment.
Uriel looked at them and sneered, “Stop! What you are all trying to do is so humiliating. Leave me alone!” Uriel ran so fast to go back to his room. How could he forget that he needed to put on some clothes? He was in a panic when he heard how Morgan cried and shouted. Uriel even heard that Morgan was seeking help as if someone was trying to kill him, making Uriel rush to the jail without thinking about his clothes.
Uriel felt that he didn't have the face to look at every pack member in the pack anymore.
He felt that he was secretly assaulted because of how stupid he was.
“What happened to him?” Jaxon asked the pack doctor after he examined Morgan.
“He lost consciousness because of fatigue. We will observe him again once he wakes up.” The pack doctor replied, before he left.
Veronica looked at Morgan in worry. She didn't even notice that Jaxon was looking at her.
“Are you going to leave me, Veronica?” Jaxon asked because he was thinking about what Morgan said to Veronica. He knew how Veronica loved Morgan, and he was scared that Veronica might do what Morgan wanted.
