"Where's Dylan, Dane?" Diana Dane's younger brother, Dustine, asks her in annoyance. The school's timing is done, but their younger brother hasn't come yet.
"I don't know." She answers her brother with a forehead scowl. She started to get annoyed too. She didn't want to wait too long and she wanted to go home. They are waiting for how many hours now, but no sign of Dylan.
"Why does he take so long?" her brother asked again. But instead of answering him, she kicked his feet in annoyance.
She is annoyed, as is her brother Dave, while they are waiting for their other brother, Dylan. They have been waiting outside the school for their brother to leave for an hour. Dylan's first day of high school is today, while Dave is in his second year and she is in her third.
They're parents want them to stay in one school. So she can watch her siblings.
Dane is responsible even at a young age. That is why her parents trusted her. Though they're family is wealth, but their parents did not teach them to rely.
"Where is he? We waited for him for too long." His brother wanted to go down.
"I will kill that one."
Dane walked across from their car. Surely their mommy will be angry if they are late. Even the driver looks at them. Why is it that they are not like others who have cell phones while their parents are rich? Especially since she is a teenager. She promised to earn money so she can buy one.
"Ma'am, your mom called and wanted to know where we were"
"Better to go and check him, Dane," Dave suggested.
"Tss!" She had no choice but to go to her brother to find out where he was. She was on her way up to the building that included her classroom when he suddenly appeared in front of her and was accompanied by two men who she thought were his classmates.
"Dane, where are you going?"
"What took you so long and where have you been?"
"The teacher ordered us to carry books."
"What?" she asked.
"If you don't believe, then don't." She looked at his two companions. "My classmates and new friends, the teacher give us an errand."
"Hi," the two greeted her at the same time.
"She's Diana Dane, my sister. Dane, this is Cluster and Wallace." She looked at the two you were referring to. She thinks Cluster is Dylan's age while the one he introduced named Wallace looks like her age.
"Hi, nice meeting you." Cluster reached out his hand so she took it. Wallace did the same to her. But she immediately grabbed her hand when she felt the electricity. She noticed that Wallace was holding his own hand and staring at her.
She also looked at it. They stared at each other and she felt her surroundings stop and she could see nothing but Wallace's beautiful smile on her. As she stared at it she noticed there was something she felt that she could not explain. It was as if something wanted to lose inside her. Her heartbeat was fast. It was as if something was crawling her stomach that she couldn't understand.
"Dane," she was startled when her brother called her.
"Huh?"
"I said let's go." She nodded and took the brother by the hand. They walked together until they reached the gate.
"I will now Dylan! Bye! " Cluster ran quickly and left them.
"You, Wallace?" Dylan asked the friend.
"I have my motorcycle," he replied.
"Ah, be careful." He just nodded but Diana noticed that he looked at her. Even when he was gone she couldn't explain what she felt. Only now did she feel that way. And even when they were inside the car she couldn't help but ask.
'Did she like her brother's friend?'
