"One more thing, I want you to go to Amber spark company, here is a sample of the Contract given to them." I said and handed it to him.
"I don't think there are diamonds in Nigeria ma'am." He said as he looked up from the contract in his hands
"I never said Amber spark company is in Nigeria, take the nearest flight to Botswana which is around 6:00, go and inspect the contract we assigned to them, when you get there check the number of places they have covered in the digging, the number of diamonds they have dug up, if the workers are working actively, observe the working site."
"Okay ma'am."
"Give me your account number I'll send you the flight ticket money and also accommodation."

"I'll send you two hundred and forty thousand right now, you'll be there for two nights, go home and pack your bags."
"Yes ma'am." He said and left.
I finished finalising all the files and submitted them to Mr Bullard, now I am clearing my desk and getting ready to leave work, this company is the best jewelry company in the whole of Africa and the fifth best jewelry company in the world.
We have a jewelry factory, that's where all our jewelries are produced, I left the office as working hours was already over, I went straight to Sasha's house, I got her address from her file. I parked right outside what I presumed was Sasha's house, the gate was opened so I entered the compound and knocked on the door.
"Who is there?" She called out expecting an answer but I stayed quiet and she came to open the door.
"Its you," she said while chewing gum the way prostitutes do "come in." She finally said, I walked into her house, it was nice enough.
"Let's get this over with." I said nonchalantly.
"Not yet, sit down on the couch," She took a sit herself and I complied "would you like anything to eat or drink?"
"No thank you, I'm okay."
"Okay, so why are you here?" She asked with her legs crossed feeling like fly.
"You know why I am here, so why are you asking?"
"I don't know why you are here so tell me." She said, I was already getting irritated
"Okay I'll just tell you, I want you to resume work tomorrow."
"No!" She said loud and clear, she is so blunt, I know what she wants to hear but begging her is so belittling, I have to swallow my pride and beg her if not I'll loose my job, that job pays really well, I can't just loose it because of my stupid ego, that's not happening.
I swallowed my pride and begged her. "Please, please come to work tomorrow, I beg you."
"I didn't hear you, repeat that and this time I'll video you begging me." She said and pulled out her phone.
"I will definitely not, I came all the way here not to humiliate myself but to ask you to come back to work, if you say you won't that's your problem."
"Really, I am not the one that will get into a big trouble if I don't go to work tomorrow." She said with a ugly smirk, I wish I could just wipe it off her face.
"The highest thing is do is remove a couple thousand from my salary or yell at me, he can't do more than that." That is a total lie, if she knows I could get fired if she does not go to work, it will worsen my situation and I'll have to beg her on camera, then she will use the video to blackmail and bother me, she is such a bitch.
"Is that so?" Conflicted, not sure what to do, that's how she felt as she said that.
"Yes, bye." I said and escorted myself out of her house and she followed behind me to shut the door, I hope she falls for it and come to work tomorrow, I entered my car took my phone out as I remembered I was supposed to go to our old secondary school by 1:00pm, my phone was on silent while I worked, I had thirty missed calls from both of my friends, it's already past 5:00pm, its too late to go there now, I decided to chat them both up on the group chat we made for ourselves and apologize for loosing track of time and not picking their calls, it was not on purpose.
Me: Hey ladies🤓🤓 I sent them a message waiting for their reply.
Dinela: don't hey us you totally blew us off😠😠
Ally: why did you do that girl it so wasn't chill😒😒
Me: I am so sorry 😖😖 I was caught up with so much work that I lost track of time, not only that my phone was on silent that's why I missed all of your calls😬😬 I'm sorry really, we can go tomorrow though😙🙂🙂
Ally: its fine, I can't make it, I have loads of work and things to do tomorrow, sorry, maybe next time😌😌
Dinela: yeah me too, sorry, where are you now though?
Me: I'm outside Sasha's house.
Ally: who is Sasha and why are you outside her house?
Me: Sasha is one of my workers, I am outside her house because I came here to beg her, I suspended her from work till Friday because she was being rude and shit but my boss wasn't too kin with that idea, he said since she didn't commit any real offense, he told me he wants her back to work tomorrow if not I'll be fired.
Ally: and?
Me: I called her to come back to work tomorrow but she refused unless I beg her so that's why I am here, I already did the begging but she wanted to video me begging her, I said no that if she like she should come then I left her house, its now I remembered that we were supposed to go to our old secondary school and decided to chat you ladies up.
Dinela: oh really? So I'm guessing you had a long day.
Me: yes, I will go home and rest, I really need it.

I put down my phone and drove home tired and exhausted. I got home, got out of the car and into my house, we really need to find Mavery.
I entered the house, went to the kitchen to greet my mom then went to my room, I freshened up and went to join my mom in the kitchen, I decided to tell her everything that happened from the beginning.
"Mom?"

"What smells so good? I am drooling."
"Its fried rice and fried chicken."
"Its been a while I had that, anyways that's by the way, I have lots to tell you but first promise me you won't yell or freak out after I tell you."

"Okay." I began to tell her everything from since when my biological mom came to my office up till tonight leaving no detail out.
"What!!" She exclaimed after I finished all I said, from that moment I Began to move further away from her, already saying my last prayers, I am so dead.
