I crawled into a ball and cried harder, I was like that for about an hour when I got a text from Austin.
Austin: are you still coming to the swimming pool?
His message popped up on my screen, should I still go on with my plan, is Austin really the one? Do I want to know that? I let out a heavy sigh and replied him.
Me: will be there by 5:00pm
Austin: this is past four, you are going to the usual place you and your girls swim right?
Me: yeah

West's message came up, I have not told him anything about all what is going on with me, I need to tell him, we've been so distant lately.
Me: boo I've missed you, you don't even bother to call me anymore😒😒😒
Ladybug: its not like that I've been busy with work that's why, I'm sorry.

I put down my phone after that, that's when I realised..... I can't speak.... What do I do? This is a problem, I'll need to consult the girls, but I have to be at the swimming pool now, it almost 5:00pm, will send SMS and I'll have to be quick.
What is my plan? What if 'operation catch the mole' goes wrong? On lord please help me,I know what to do I'll wear a swimming trunk, then go to the pool and begin 'operation catch the mole' if by miracle I survive it and catch the mole, will quickly go meet West, I will use my bra and panties to swim then change while I'm escaping, if it goes wrong, I just pray I survive this, what was I even thinking?! How will I make this work, if Dario is there waiting for me, he will probably plan to kill or kidnap me, what if he succeeds? What will happen to me then? I can't afford to go through another round of torture, this is my life, I need to embrace my problems and solve them, here goes nothing.
I went to my closet and brought out a bum jean short and a Gucci bra top to go with it and also a wedge heels, I put it in a small bag then I changed my outfit and wore and matching purple lace panties and bra then tied a veil around my waist, I didn't bother with make up, I am so unorganized right now, something that should be planned before being done is what I'm rushing to do, I'm playing with my life but its not by choice, I just have to do this and then get my life back on track.
I grabbed my car keys and a coat to cover myself and went to the living room, mom is probably sleeping, I have not seen dad since morning, I don't have time to worry about that, I left a note saying where I was headed to and why for mom so she won't be too worried.
I went out of the house and to my car, drove down to the swimming pool, I have to act normal, be cool and calm, I reached the hotel, went in, and straight to the pool, there was no one there, shocking, this is my own Doomsday.
I entered the pool and started swimming, about half an hour later, no sign of Mr Dario, was feeling good seeing that its not Austin that's the mole, I got out of the pool and went to the bar to get a chilled wine.
"Hey, give me a glass of red wine." I said to the bartender, my back was towards him as I was feeling relieved.
"Here is your wine Axymah." As the bartender said, how did he know my name, I didn't want to look back, what if its Dario? I have to know, I looked at the bartender Dario he is here so that means, Austin.... He is the mole, my brain started working and I ran, I was running around the pool and he was right behind me.
"Help!! Help!!" I yelled in distress.
"Shut up bitch." He said, but ignored him.
"Someone please help me!!! Anyone!!!" I said as I kept running, he was unable to catch me, we just kept running and running till he motioned to a guy in a hoodie sitting on a bench, I didn't even notice he was there before, the guy walked over, Austin.
"Austin you?!!"
"Yes me, I'm sorry Axymah but I have to do this." He said with a pitiful expression.
"No you don't have to, if we turn him in, he won't be able to hurt anyone anymore." I tried to sound as convincing as possible.
"I do have to or else...." He started.
"Or else what? You were the one giving him Intel about me?" I asked, feeling so betrayed.
"If I don't he'll kill my mom, I'm sorry." He said, I don't want to listen to anything he has to say.
"Since when have you been working for him?" I need to know as much as I can and this is my chance.
"Since he took my mom hostage, my dad and I have to do his biddings, five years ago."
"Why did he take your mom hostage? Why?"
Dario lunged at me but Austin stopped him, I lost my balance and fell into the pool, I fell suddenly, I thrashed around, my arms flying, going in all directions. My arms couldn't go above the water anymore, someone closed the glass on the pool, it must be Dario, I kept hitting the glass till I took my last breathe.
So this is my end, this is how my story ends, no happy ending, how sad, going down till I reached the pool floor, I felt a rush of air through my lungs a couple minutes later, I opened my eyes wide in the water in panic, what I saw before me was beyond my imagination, a baby dragon.
I felt myself being pulled upwards, couldn't make out how it looked but I'm sure its a dragon, I closed my eyes and let the darkness consume me. I felt pressure on my chest, I opened my eyes and puked all the water in my lungs out as soon as the pressure became stronger, I'm alive.
"Thank God you are alive." Austin said and fled, what the hell!!!! I guess he is not that bad, he saved me, I took deep breathes and stood up on shaking legs, wore my coat and veil then went to my car, I relaxed and regained composure then I remembered.... West I quickly changed and drove to the docks, I saw him there back turned to me, he must have waited a long time.
"What took you so Long?"
"I'm sorry, I got caught up in something." I said and he turned to me, he took in sharp breathes as soon as he saw me, then approached me.
"You look stunning." He said and a blush crept up my cheeks.
"Thank you."
"Why are you wet though?" I asked then realised I'm talking, my voice us not hoarse or shaky, thank goodness, how come I didn't realise it earlier.
"Long story, so where are we going for our date?"
"Out into the ocean..."
"Yeah?"
"On my yacht, I know you've been dying to go on it."
"Wow, yes,where is it?" I asked and motioned to the spot a bit far from me on water.
"Wow."
"Come on." He said and I walked beside him and into the yacht, I heard police sirens, I wondered what happened.
We got into the yacht and I decided to tell West everything that has been happening to me, after we were about to finish all the snacks and drinks on the yacht, also playing around, pulling each others legs and flirting, I thought I should pour my heart out about all that has been happening to me, leaving the Dakies and Taenisa part out, he felt my pain as I spoke, he looked at me with love and affection in his eyes.
End of flashback.
"I knew, I said it, Alero what were you saying? That I should not point fingers, I said it!!!!!" Dinela jumped up and said feeling good about herself.
"Austin is it true?" Alero asked.
"Why are you still asking him, Azyma just said it and you're asking him." Dinela scolded.
"Will you just be quiet for one second Dinela, Austin?" Alero said.
"Yes its true, I've been working for Mr Dario for money." He finally said, but that's not what he told me, so that means mom was right, he did lie to me.
"God of mercy, because of money, you almost got her killed." Dinela yelled.
"But that's not the only reason, Dario has my mom captive so I had to do his bidding but I couldn't careless about that woman so I had to make money out if doing his bidding at least that will ensure that thing, my mom won't be killed." He said, oh now I understand, he doesn't love her because she is a Dakies and Mr Dario has her captive, he has to do Dario's bidding so he will release her but he doesn't care about her so he asked Mr Dario for money for any information he has on me, giving him information will not only earn him money but will ensure Dario doesn't kill his mom, wow, so he hates his mom because she is a Dakies but he still cares for her that he doesn't want her dead.
Mom's phone began to ring, she picked it and we all waited for her to finish speaking before we continued, all the while mom and Mavery were silent.
"Okay, thank you officer, always keep me posted, bye." Mom said and hung up.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"It was Mr Akhila, he called to tell me that Mr Dario was spotted in this area, approaching our house several times." Mom said.
"He should still be in jail, he escaped because of you." I said pointing at Austin.
"That should be the last thing on our mind." Mavery said.
"Axymah dear, everything will be alright." Mom said, trying to comfort me.
"No it will not, it won't, he is back... For me, he will not stop until he has seen my end."
"We will not allow that, besides you don't have time to sulk, you are dying." Mavery suddenly said
"What!!!! What are you saying old woman?!!!" Dinela yelled out.
"I am saying the truth.." She started.
"Just be quiet!!" Dinela yelled.
"I will gladly die if it means Mr Dario will never get to me, if it means he won't hurt me, please let me die." I said pleadingly.
"All this is your fault, you betrayed us." Alero yelled at Austin
"I didn't mean to, I had to, how else would I...." Austin said but we didn't want to hear it.
"You have no excuse for what you did, you are cruel, cold and heartless." Dinela said.
"Its weird because five years ago, you hated Axymah." Austin said.
"Everyone here knows why I did what I did, my reason is by far justified, but you!!!"
"Please leave and never come back, you betrayed my daughter, you have put her life at stake, please get away from here." Mom said.
"Your daughter, she is not your daughter and you know that, besides I wonder why you would adopt her she is broken, useless, empty."
"You better be quiet!!! Or else!!!!"
"Or else what?!!! Or else what Dinela!!!" The traitor yelled.
"Get away from here, you are disgusting, your parents would be damn ashamed and disgusted with you, they hang their head in shame as they look down on their disgusting, shameless, ugly son."
"You better not involve my parents in this."
"And if I do?" Mom asked.
"I am glad I did to you what I did, you are a worthless piece of shit just like Dario said, you are not even human, you are a monster."
"She is human." Mavery said.
"I am human unlike you, you are nothing but a monster."
"I'm out of here mother fuckers." He said and walked out.
"We need to know the whole truth, the truth about what happened, we need to visit Debby gold in jail." Alero suggested.
"There is no way that is happening." Mom yelled.
"Alero is right Dinela." Mavery said.
"I thought I asked you to be quiet."
"Watch your tone young Lady or you might just loose your voice forever." Mavery threatened.
"We'll go see Debby gold." I decided.
"My dear you don't have to..., if you don't want to." Mom said worried
"I'll be fine mom, I always yawned for better days ahead, I dreamt of how it would be, I thought about either it being forever or for a short time, but I never really thought about what would happen Days after the better days."
"We are with you Azyma, all the way."
"You will need all the help you can get, I'm also with you." Mavery said.
"Who are you old hag? What are you truly?" Dinela asked.
"Yes, tell us." I said.
"You all will find out in due time, for now I can't tell you anything, you have to find out everything yourself." Mavery said.
"You don't mean that."
"I do."
"What did you mean by I'm dying?" I asked frightened.
"You'll know soon enough, for now we need to see Debby gold, the one in jail, I'm sure you know about the blue skull by now."
"Yes, we do, we need to get our hands on it but only Debby gold can help us get it, let's go see her now." Mavery said and left our presence.
"Mom you stay here please, I don't want anything to happen to you because of me."
"No, what if Dario comes to attack me again, let me come without." Mom begged.
"Okay, come on let's go, I grabbed my phone and purse, we head out and drove to the police station, mom informed Mr Akhila.
Why is all these happening to me?
"Axymah?" Mom called.
"Were you not supposed to speak till this morning so your voice will heal?" She asked.
"Yes but my voice got better." I said.
"You said you saw a fire breathing dragon in the pool when you were drowning? How is that possible." Alero asked and I felt Mavery tense up at that, I decided to wave it off, no one can know about all that is happening to me.
"I was probably hallucinating, I was drowning after all." I said.
"That makes sense, anyways you have to tell us about your yacht ride with West after all these." Dinela said.
"Of course." I said with a smile. A wipe later we reached the station.
"Here goes nothing." Alero said and we all walked into the station.
"Good afternoon." Mom greeted Mr Akhila, he was waiting for us at the entrance, he really is a good man.
"Afternoon, how are you fairing?"
"We could be better."
"You said you are coming here but you didn't say why and you definitely didn't say you're coming with people." He said.
"Well we want to see Debby gold, that's why we are here." Mom said.
"And why do you want to see her?"
"Well there is a issue on ground and we need her to enlighten us about it." She said, I know there is no way she will tell him why we want to see her, no one even Mr Akhila will believe her, especially since is pregnant, pregnant women are usually delusional.
"Let's just see her please." She pleaded.
"I need to know why you want to see her."
"Isn't it visiting hours, please allow us, we want to visit her."
"Okay, but be quick, only one of you can go see her, she is notorious, so which of you will it be?" He asked.
"Me," I said and walked to the front, "I'll go."
"Okay come with me." He said, now I realise I don't know what to ask her, will she tell me the truth.
"Don't go too close to the bars, you have ten minutes." He said and left.
