After several minutes of him driving and Insulting me under his breathe, we arrived at West's house.
I quickly got out and ran inside the compound.
"Hey get back here!!!! Give me my money!!!!" He chased after me.
Lucky for me, the front door was opened, I rushed in, I found myself in the living room, that was not the only thing I found.
"You bitch you better give me my money or else..... Oh snap." He said as soon as he saw what was in front of us, or should I say who was?!!!
West. On top of another woman. Staring right at me.
"Axymah!!! Oh shit!!!" He scrambled to get off of her and to his feet. The world stop, so did my heart, my body was numb. I didn't know how and what to feel, a tear rolled down my cheeks, I stood there. Staring. I didn't want to believe my eyes. Visuals can be deceptive, right?!
"Axymah!", He stood on his feet as he looked for his boxers and tried to wear them in haste " it's not what you think, I can explain."
Tears flooded my eyes, a sob escaped my lips, my body began to tremble, I felt an overwhelming emotion, Dario's words rang in my ears.

"No!!!!" I screamed out loud.

"No!!" I bolted out of there as fast as I could, I was running as fast as my legs could carry me, I have no idea where I'm going. I have to run away from him, he'll catch me, he won't rest until he sees my end. His words resonated in my head, I needed to get away.
I kept running, I didn't stop, my heart was beating rapidly against my chest, my chest was heavy, Adrenaline pumped into my veins as I ran even faster, I saw lots of people giving me weird looks, that was the least of my concern, I was running. Turning right, left, I couldn't see where I was going anymore, air rushed into my eyes, tears flowed down my cheeks.
I closed my eyes and kept running, my legs were getting tired, the voice was getting louder.

I pushed my legs to go faster, I bumped into someone, I lost my balance and fell, I shot back up and ran and before I knew it, I fell. I heard mumbled voices. The voices had stopped, my body was wet, water rushed into my lungs, I couldn't breathe. I panicked and threw my hands everywhere, water splashed. I was suffocating. Drowning.
I closed my eyes and gave into the darkness.
Canvas POV
That girl, there is something about her that draws me in, Axymah. What a beautiful name, she is gorgeous, weird. I like her. I was mean to her today only so she'll notice me. I didn't want to be some cheesy idiot. Her expression back at the hotel made me laugh, I haven't laughed like that in a while.
Even Jenna fails to make me laugh, one girlfriend she is. But Axymah, she probably thought I was mocking her, I know what to do, I'll threat her to a fine dinner, I came here for a vacation. Away from nagging parents and clinging girlfriend.
I'm going to a friend's party, right now all I've been able to think about is her. But why? I'm supposed to be incapable of feeling emotion. But she....., I feel bad for her, she should not have to sleep in that filth. I'll make it up to her.
My friend's party is a pool party, lots of sexy girls, I wish Axymah will be there.
"Can you go any faster?!" My driver was going so slowly, it was as though he was scared of the road.
"I'm going as fast as I can sir, we are almost there sir, the party is just around this corner."
I need to get a new car, probably one with a tinted glass, it'll make me look much cooler. I looked to my side and saw a woman running on the side walk. Some people are just crazy.
"What's chasing her?" He asked shaking his head.
"I also wonder, focus on your driving. She is running even faster"
"Sir, she looks like the one we dropped at that expensive estate." I looked at the woman again.
"Bring down the car window." I took a good long look at her, brought my head out the window further to see if it was her.
"You're right." She ran faster, the car passed her, I watched her figure fade away. I wonder why she was running, fear gripped her structure, her eyes were wide and her pupil was dilated, hmmmm.
"We've arrived sir." I got down from the car and entered the compound, I didn't bother entering the house, I just went straight to the backyard.
It seems the party had just began, I'm early for the first time, even though there are quite a lot of people here already, none are in the pool, the music wasn't loud, I see a table packed with snacks and drinks another with a cake. Nice. The decorations are really cool.
"Hey man, you are early, what's up?"
"Nothing, cool party."
"Thanks."
"Where is the birthday gi-" someone suddenly bumped into me, I turned ready to give the person an earful, I saw the person fall on the floor. Axymah.
Before I could utter a word or even move a muscle, she shot right up and bolted, and in a blink of an eye. Jumped into the pool. What the fuck?!!!!
Her hands were flying everywhere, she was drowning. My brain wasn't functioning, I couldn't think, what just happened? Her hands were not flying everywhere no more, I couldn't see her no more, she was drowning. All I could do was stand, Stare and listen to everyone yell in surprise.
"O my gosh, what the hell!!" Someone said.
"What a great entrance." Another said.
"Attention seeker, this is my party." Divine yelled.
The pool was calm, she was well under by now.
"You can come out now!!!!!!!" Another person yelled.
What was I waiting for? And like a ticking time bomb. I ran and jumped into the pool, I swam under, looking for her, my eyes were open, the water was hurting them, I used my hands to try and feel her. I tried and tried. Finally I got a hold of what seem like her ankle or her wrist.
I held on tight and swam back to the surface, I was running out of oxygen, my body was beginning to panicked, I need to get out the water or else..... Before the worst could happen I resurfaced and swam to the stairs, I climbed out of the water with her.
I indeed grabbed her ankle making it more difficult, we were both finally out of the water, everyone gathered around us, murmuring.
"Axymah?! Axymah?!!!" She wasn't responding, I did a mouth to mouth while pressing down on her chest, but it wasn't working. I pressed down harder. Made my hand into a fist and hit her chest, it didn't work either.
There are lots of people here, I can't do anything, I can't let her die either, I'll take my chances, I went in for a mouth to mouth, this one was different...... I pulled away, she gasped as she tried to suck in as much oxygen as she could. She coughed and water poured from her mouth.
"You're some crazy ass nigga, you know that?"

"You're some crazy ass nigga, you know that?" He chuckled. That's one way to describe me, definitely a first.
I looked up at him, he was drenched. He got up and stretched his hand out for me to grab, I took it and he pulled me up.
I looked around and saw we were surrounded by lots of people.
"What the-"
"Come on." He pulled me along with him.
"Hey!! Hey!! What the hell happened back there." A weird looking guy asked him.
"That's what I want to know." He looked at me.
"What are you staring at?" I barked.
"Won't you at least stay for the party."
"We'll be back." He started walking to who knows where dragging me along with him. He is such a jerk, if he hadn't gotten me that filthy room then....... Memories of all that happened hit me like a wave, West. He......

Dario's words rang in my ears, tears rolled down my cheeks, they kept flowing, why? It's been a year now, how could he? I thought he loved me? I fell on my knees, I cried uncontrollably, I was being pathetic, I couldn't care less.
I'm in a foreign country crying my eyes out in someone's backyard. How stupid and humiliating, but what can I do? I'm broken.
I felt strong arms pick me up and started walking, I looked up at the jerk who caused all these, he is so stupid, if he hadn't gotten me that room then, this wouldn't have happened. I wouldn't have found out that.... That the love of my life was cheating on me.
I haven't even taken a good look at him before, not up till now, he has a perfect jawline, brown eyes, long eyelashes, light skinned, his chin as smooth as silk.
He stopped, gently placing me on my feet, I looked in front of me to see his car, he opened the door and guided me in shutting the door after me. I was expecting him to seat in the back seat next to me but instead he sat at the front seat.
"Where do you want to go?" He glanced at me through the front mirror, I told him West's address, the driver started the car and headed there.
"Thank you."
"For what?" He didn't even send a glance my way.
"Saving me back there."
"What caused your little stunt?"
"Little! That wasn't little at all, I would have died if it wasn't for you."
"Why did you do it?"
"What else could I have done?"
"Not jump into a pool and drown."
"It wasn't intentional." I looked out the window, staring at nothing.
"What caused it?"
"Nothing for you to worry about, thanks once again."
"Hmmm, don't go do that ever again, okay?"
"Sure." Silence reigned on us after that, a somewhat comfortable silence.
I was all alone with my thoughts, I'm not good enough, was I a terrible girlfriend? So this was how Alero felt during her break up. My heart aches, I don't even want to ever see West's face ever again but my travelling bag and phone is there, I have to go get them.
Tears fell even more, I didn't even try to stop them, I was wet, heartbroken and lonely. I really need mom right now. She always know what to say to comfort me.
I rested my head on the window, my thought wandered, the only good memories I have are the one's from five years ago, I don't even know what my dad looks like anymore, it's a good thing I still have his picture, I hardly remember anything from my childhood, before my life took a turn for the worst.
"We are here." The car stopped and I got out.
"Thank you." I walked into West's house without looking back.
