When I arrived at the address that the man on the phone told me. I pulled the car to the side and hop out of it. I swirled around to see the house.
The view outside of house is a mix
ture of colors and beautiful scenery. First
to catch my attention is our front
yard, which features a spacious garden
filled with numerous plant types such as
orchids and roses. Having been profes
sionally landscaped, it is one of the most
attractive features of the home.
As I walk to the front porch, the walls and small fence attached to the house itself are painted white and light green, making the image strikingly attractive to the eye.
I made my way on the pavement to the the front door of the door which seemingly looks opened.
Upon entering the house, I notice the mismatched brown and blue plaid couches under bare walls. A huge television blocks the only window in the room, with an old scratched coffee table groaning under a weeks worth of mail. Guacamole colored shag carpet over powers the cheap Asian rug trying to smother it. The blue and brown couches are as comfortable as reclining on bales of straw covered with course burlap. A pomegranate candle sits on top of the television and which is lit to drown out the subconscious avocado smell from the 70's shag carpeting. Walking through the living room into the second room overcoming the feeling of claustrophobia because of large furniture in a small place, you will see four doors and an office area. They whole place looks deserted and I haven't seen anyone there. I decided to check other rooms to find someone.
But before, I could enter in to the second room. I heard a faint voice coming from the office. I paused and redirect my feet towards the office area and I placed my hand on the doorknob.
And close my eyes to hear using my power to hear what he was talking about?
" Fiona, have reach to the chester?" he asked someone on the phone. And I hold the knob with both hands to channeling my powers to the other side of the phone.
" Yes, brother we have reach home. I sent her to room with emily...don't worry I made every arrangement." a female voice was heard from the other side.
" Do you think this plan of our would work?"
" The only way is to find out about it is to excute the plan... she paused from speaking she might be sense me... Someone is at your door, listening to us brother,"
I quickly backed away from the door and the man opened the door, he watched me in horror.
" Who are you? And What are you doing in my house?" he asked me in a harsh tone and I could almost feel my blood boiling in my veins.
" Excuse me, we have talked on the phone earlier. I am Archie and your daughter left your phone, I am here friend remember,"
He immediately, realize and the sudden change in his facial expressions made me confused.
" Oh, yeah I remember talking you on the call. My apology as you can I don't have the strong memory. Why are you standing? Come inside,"
" I accept your apology and don't mind I just come inside without your knowledge, Actually the front door was opened." I added.
" Oh, it must be my neighbors cat she comes to my house without any warning,"
He opened his office door for me and which made me a little suspicious. But I gave him a fake nod and stepped through the door... I looked around the office.The first thing I notice walking in is the many piles of paper around the room. At the rear of the office, a two-foot mountain of yellowing paper with tattered edges balances precariously on the file cabinet. In front of the file cabinet is desk, The room was painted a bluish gray color from top to bottom, with a simple floral design border all of the way around. The ceiling of the room was the same color as the walls and the floor was made of dark brown stained wood paneling.
" Please, Have a seat?" he told me from behind.
And I pulled the chair out of the desk and slammed down, crossing my legs over.
And the man walked on the other side of the table and he settled down on the chair in front of me.
" Do you want anything?" he asked me.
A low grin appear on my face because of the question he asked me.
" What happened? why are you smiling?"
" The thing, I am going to ask you. I don't think so you would be happy to hear."
He sent me a confused look and I continue, " Nothing, where is your daughter?"
" Ummm, she is upstairs... just give me a moment I will go get her," he said and I can't tell he was nervous, sweat broke down from his hair lie Which could only means that he is lying and he quickly got from his seat to leave the office but I snapped my two fingers together and the door slammed closed and the man reached out for the door knob and struggled to open it.
I rotate my chair in the direction of him.
" Lost cause, don't waste your time it won't opened until I want to. So, come here and have a seat,"
He turned her face to faced me I could tell the fear in his eyes.
" Who are you? What... you want... from me?" he stutter.
" Shhhh, don't ask questions. I am the one who will ask you the question."
His whole body was trembling and he couldn't stand still. I placed my arms on the armrest and leaned back against the chair.
" What you want from me? I didn't do anything." he asked me again disturbing my piece.
