Chapter 52 Heat - Day 2 (Sunset)
-Wait... - Alexei asks, trying to catch the breath, collapsing heavily on his back -. Give me... A few minutes - a layer of sweat covered his whole body, his hair was completely wet -. I need to recover, kitty.
With a chuckle, the Omega huddled close to him. Instead of being uncomfortable with the condition, Alexei was in (in which he was also) it was just the opposite. He was just as comfortable as he was in any of the other times.

After thoroughly washing themselves, both clean and dressed, they quickly changed the bedsheets. Alexei hugged (or rubbed) Xander to make sure he got his scent.
This is a safety measure commonly used to protect Omegas from other Alphas, and in the heat it was particularly effective in scaring off any attackers. Then, Alexei reached the phone on the nightstand, getting ready to leave, while Xander sat on the edge of the bed, watching his movements.

-Seriously?! - He's screaming and jumping again -. But Fred, that's perfect! - giving him a big hug -. Derek's like my brother. He's a great man, I'm sure he'll be the right one for you.
-Really? - with a little caution and uncertainty -. Do you mean it?
-Of course. I would never lie to you. Wait a second... - A frown forming between his eyebrows -. How do you know he likes someone else? - Xander had asked the question, but he already knew the answer. Derek kept insisting, despite telling him countless times that nothing was going to happen between the two of them.

-Come and eat, kitty - Alexei swallows thickly as he watches Xander move slowly, with his eyes clear and swinging the hips seductively.
But it's the long line, dancing back and forth, that confirms little Omega's true intentions. When the distance between the two is gone, Xander leans over and with their glances connected, murmurs on his lips:
-How about we skip the food and go straight to dessert?
