Golden Stage

"Golden Stage" chronicles the legendary animosity between a reviled imperial court lackey and a distinguished military general. Their mutual hatred is a widely known and accepted fixture of the imperial court. However, fate intervenes unexpectedly. Upon his return from war, the celebrated general is not triumphant but disabled, having lost the use of his legs. In a surprising decree, the emperor orders him to marry his sworn enemy. The opulent imperial court transforms into a shared, unwanted dwelling for these two individuals whose lives are defined by conflict.
