My parents didn't find it strange that I had slept at Júlia's house and we had already agreed to spend the afternoon at the mall, which made me feel more at ease.
Júlia told me what had caused her unusual despondency and we ended up staying to watch a movie that was showing at the cinema and that left us very interested. It was from a superhero franchise and we both liked the genre.
She helped me buy my courseware and we talked about Max, the guy she'd left the club with last night.
He actually lived in her building and for this reason, it was very easy for her to find out that he had a girlfriend, with whom he already had a relationship of over four years. This information, which he failed to pass on to her, made her quite sad. He had lied about being single and she had ended up being part of a betrayal.
It was something to put anyone off.
Even though I stayed for the movie session, I still got home early, it wasn't even ten at night, but even so, I didn't agree to meet João Felipe, as he had proposed by message.
I didn't have any explanations to give my parents about spending another night away from home, something that wasn't my habit and they would be suspicious.
I didn't agree to go out with João Pedro either, but as he didn't insist, I believe he really wanted to go out alone on one of his dates and invited me just out of consideration for our friendship. Anyway, my friend knew that I didn't usually go out two days in a row like this and we already knew each other well enough to understand and accept each other's ways.
João Pedro always took advantage of every day of the weekend, whether in ballads or lunches with friends and other types of events, such as the one he was arranging for the next weekend, at the beach house of Mendes de Albuquerque.
Then I went to bed and despite having thought a lot about my situation with João Felipe, I managed to get a peaceful night's sleep and woke up on Sunday at my usual time.

After breakfast, I went up to my room and continued to read some reports that I had already worked on the night before when my mother appeared in the doorway of my room.

When I finished reading the report and organizing my notes, I took a shower and went downstairs to meet Mom's guests.
As I had imagined, there were the Guimarães, in this case, Alicia, her sister Beatrice, Mr. Francisco, and his wife, Mrs. Caterina.
In addition to them, there were also my friends from the Alcântara family, Nicolas, Henrique, and Ricardo, and their parents.
There were around twenty people in the pool area and looking at the environment, I was immediately reminded of my moments with Vivi in that same place, just a few days ago, but it seemed like much longer.
