The lobby was good looking, with glass figurines here and there, the scent of wealth and prestige, that’s why I love this particular hotel, just perfect
“ stop there ma’am” I hear a lady say from behind, making me halt, “ what”
“ Who are you, and what are you doing here?”
She must be the new receptionist, “ I came for mr hansley , and get used to my face” I replied walking towards the elevator that would lead me to the first floor.
“ well I wouldn’t advise you to go in there,without an appointment, he’s very busy” she said, I am slowly loosing ny patience, where the fuck is Adonis.
“ we can’t just allow anyone inside” she said running her arrow like eyes, up and down my body”
“ what do you mean by that ” I could feel my blood boil immediately how dare she say that “ I am mr blacks woman not just anyone ” I retorted, she arches a brow at me, passing a smirk which disappeared right after, “ woman?”
“ I don’t think so, mr blacks woman just left” she said, her words send flames to my heart, “ what do you mean?”
“ yes quit the drama, come back tomorrow will do you favor setting you up for an appointment”
“ You are fired!“ yelling at the top of my voice.
“ she is not fired, and I repeat she stays” Adonis said from behind, Turning swiftly, I see him dressed in sleeves which was opens, exposing his bare chest, his trousers hung on his waist without his belt, and his hair is messy.
“ she is going nowhere, I can’t have you show up in my hotel and fire every woman who works for me” he said sternly making me shiver.
“ she said I am not your woman, she’s doesn’t have regards for me babe, fire her I don’t want to see her” I said, more tears pooling down my eyes ,I hate it when they say he’s with other woman, now I think I am now a public tease, “ she stays, I will discipline her, but good receptionist are hard to find” Adonis said as he pulls me in for a hug.
“ you look so beautiful, don’t ruin it with that tears” he said, i hug him back, drying my wet eyes on his chest,

He pats my hair, then places kisses on them. I hear him whisper something. Why is he whispering when I am here, what is he hiding? I attempt pulling myself away from his clutches but he holds me firmly.
“ Let me go, what did she just call you?”
“ hey, Vanessa’s, stop all this!I won’t have you come here forcing your anger on me because of your damn family issues I have mine!” He yells at me, veins popping out of his forehead, he only calls me by my name when he’s really mad.
Trembling under his intense gaze, tears fall down my eyes, “ you are suspended for a week!” He yells at the receptionist, before pulling me towards him, “ don’t make me yell at you like that, I don’t like it” he places a kiss on my eyes then my forehead.
“ Come, let’s have a good time” he said, pulling me upwards, my legs tied around his waist as he carried me to the elevator.
Adonis and I started dating back in junior high, it was a secret relationship even our parents never gave a consent to it, the hensley family and the Brandon’s are world apart, mr Ellis hansley and miss Sinclair brandon where both names that reported wouldn’t dare put in same paper because it was a taboo.
