**AUTHOR’S POV**
Another slap was given on her cheek, but this time it was Natasha, who slapped her.
Natasha : do not yell at her. You middle class gold digger. This doesn't suit well with middle-class people that to a thief.
She was crying, unable to control her emotions she cried while saying” aunty believe me I didn't steal anything. I don't know about her necklace. I was just buying papa's medicines, nothing else. But when I was returning home, I found that kitten injured in rain, so I took her to hospital. I didn't get any clue about time, that's why I am late aunty”
Emily : she won't tell us everything by herself, just bring that hot water. I will burn her whole hand, by which she has stolen from me.
Everyone became pale except Natasha, and rowan.
Rowan couldn't stop himself anymore, so he said” Emily don't be selfish, this is not the way to talk and asked about something “.
Emily : brother, you don't know these kinds of girls. They don't deserve sympathy.
Sapphire was hell furious after listening to her talks.” do whatever you want, but the truth won't be changed. “
Emily slapped her again, but she didn't move an inch nor show any emotion on her face. Emily banged her on the wall and held her neck tightly asking" where is my necklace, speak up dammit?”.
Though she is physically weaker than Emily, still she never shows them her weakness on her face. So without any fear she looked in her eyes and said," I haven't stolen anything, nor I need to”.
Rowan was looking at the floor but his ear s were listening to his wife innocence, so without looking up he ordered Emily" leave her now”.
Natasha said," why should she leave her, rowan? That middle-class girl deserves this only”.
Suddenly, a maid came out of the crowd and crying and hold rowan's feet. “Please tell Emily mam to leave madam, she hasn't done anything. It was me who stole her necklace, I needed money. Please leave madam.”
Emily ran towards that maid and slapped her hard across her face and snatched her necklace. Kissing her necklace, she said madly” found it “.
Sapphire sat on the floor and held her delicate neck in her hands and starts coughing.
The maid move towards sapphire and held her feet begging her forgiveness” I am sorry madam, please forgive me. You are so kind to everyone, you don't deserve this. Please forgive me “.
Natasha and Emily looked at each other and tried to hide their fault, so Natasha said” oh, so this maid is responsible, rowan through her…” she couldn't complete her sentence because rowan has cut in between…
Rowan : this girl is guilty, Emily apologizes to sapphire, right now. Don't test my patience.
Emily looked at rowan in shock and said," you want Emily Hudson to apologize to this middle-class girl. Huh, never, it will never happen”.
Rowan looked at her sternly and said,” right now”.
Emily knew better to deny this glare, so without arguing more she said," so…sorry”.
Rowan : Natasha, you too.
They looked up at rowans but seeing his hard face she mumbled “sorry”.
Rowan : everyone, go to your room now.
Saying so, he went near sapphire and Emily became furious watching his soft side for her, so she spitted" you made me apologize…”
Rowan turned angrily and said," thank god that I am not slapping you hard like you did to her. So, just go back RIGHT NOW.”
Emily : brother.
Rowan : what, brother, go to your room and don't test my patience.
ROWAN : sapphire, go to the room and wash yourself. Go now.
Without reacting much, she moves towards his room and directly went to the bathroom. She sat on the floor while crying, hysterically. She cursed her decision to marry this inhuman person who was her crush, now she hates him. Does she really do??
Rowan entered his room and sat on the couch waiting for sapphire to came out of the room. As soon as she came out he called her on the couch" SA…sapphire”.
Hearing rowan's voice, she came near him and stood silently, looking down.
Gaining some courage, rowan asked her" are you fine, sapphire?”.
Nodding her head in yes without lifting her head.
Rowan: did…did you apply medicine on your cuts?
Sapphire : no, they don't need medicine, they will recover soon.
Rowan shook his head with her stubborn nature and muttered” fine”. With that, he was going out, but before that sapphire called him.
Sapphire : rowan?
Rowan : “hmm “urge her to continue further.
Sapphire : when will you give me a divorce?
Her sentence did something to him which he was unaware of. He wanted to do something to her for uttering this shit but refraining himself, he said, "why you want a divorce now? It was you who WANTED to marry me in the first place”.
She ran towards him and said while sitting in front of him in a begging position," it was my mistake to marry you. Please forgive me. Give me any punishment you want, but please give me a divorce. I will never show you my face, just leave me, please”. She begged while crying loudly.
He looked at her emotionlessly and said," get up now”.
Sapphire : please just leave me.
He angrily grabbed her arm and found her raised temperature.
Rowan yelled : what the fuck. You are having fever. Dammit.
Before she could say something, he touched her forehead and found her boiling skin. He yelled," This is the consequences of the rain.”
Sapphire : it will be fine, what about divorce?
Rowan roared angrily, " when you are completely fine then come and ask for divorce, and I would rather not hear any word from you now, got it?”
She looked at him saying.” will you give me divorce when I will be fine? Will you make me free from this unwanted marriage?”.
ROWAN : I will think about it.
Sapphire wiped her eyes and happily said" thank you so much “.
