Sapphire was looking at both of them. There was war going on inside her. She looked at her papa, who was almost pleading her through his eyes to say yes. So, after deciding, she finally nods her head in yes, making rowan sighs in relief and Michael to be happy.
Michael : that's like my daughter. You are the best, my child.
Sapphire nodded while rowan was looking at her with proud and a gentle smile on his face.
He never showed his gentle side to her, but only today, where he has taken her virginity. He was feeling guilty, but the emotions he felt that time overpowered his guilt. Now he is okay.
Now he wants to give their relation a chance, maybe. Still, he is not so sure about it.
They were busy when they hear commotion from outside. They ran out of the door and Michael almost tripped if not for Rowan.
Lady : where is your daughter-in-law, Micky? A lady asked Mr. Hudson…
**Sapphire's POV**
“Micky” I heard this name about my papa. I giggled at the name, while papa was embarrassed at his nickname by granny.
I looked up at the lady and found an elderly woman standing in our door. Her hairs were white due to old age. She was looking a little chubby, but not much. She looked friendly. But I would rather not judge anyone easily again.
Papa and Rowan went towards her and engulfed her in their embrace. First was papa, he hugs her tightly and kissed her forehead.
Then Rowan went forward and lifted her by her hips and twirl her around, “oh my sexy granny, you look hot” he winked at her and kissed her cheek.
Grandmother slaps the back of his head and engulfed him in her motherly warmth.
He sniffed his granny neck to find his peace, maybe. He has never found this kind of peace from his mother, Natasha. She was always a social butterfly who was careless about her children. But she was never careless with Emily.
I was amused, looking at the childish side of Rowan. I have never seen him like this, not even with papa. Perhaps he is like this only with his granny. So, she is important for him. I have to be careful around her.
**AUTHOR’S POV**
“You are also handsome, my young man” teased granny, and he was smiling at his granny. He felt alive after a long time. Sure, sapphire was here, but he was not close to her to share this bond. But his bond with his granny is strong.
“Oh yes, I remember. I heard your wife is beautiful and sexy. So, where is she? I want to meet her now? Come one, call her? " She was blabbering in excitement.
“Take a deep breath, my dear sexy granny. She is here only" said Rowan softly.
Sapphire was blushing, hearing sexy from granny's mouth. Michael side hugged sapphire and replied proudly“ here is my daughter-in-law, mom".
Sapphire smiled at grandmother softly and went near her to greet her. She hugged her with some hesitation, but grandmother immediately tighten her hug and let her engulf in her warm embrace.
Grandmother was happy for her grandson, who has suffered a lot in his life.
Sapphire smiled at her when granny kissed her forehead, she felt good with granny's company. She was getting good vibes.
“You are stunning, my child. My handsome is lucky to have you in his life. " Praised granny.
Grandmother pulled sapphire near her by her arm, and whispered,“ I thought he will bring someone like his mother. You know who is always ready for salon and all. Thank God you are not like them" she giggled.
Sapphire also smiled with her. She is such a cool granny.
Michael : I heard it, mother. Why can't you leave her out of this? She is like this only.
Sapphire smiled at their banter and her arrogant husband interrupted them,“ stop both of you. Mom is not bad, she is just always busy with herself. She loves to take care of herself. " He defended his mom, who was not there yet.
Michael and his mom were still laughing and high five while sapphire was enjoying their moments.
Granny : sapphire, tell me one thing. Is my handsome cool. You know, he is very arrogant and egoistic. Is her romantic?
Asked granny teasingly, and sapphire blushed dark red while Rowan groaned inwardly.
“ Granny, I am not egoistic. " He said.
“ No, you are. You are a boring person, am I right sapphire?" she asked again the poor girl who was now nervously moving her legs…
Sapphire laughed nervously, and Rowan glared at her and his granny. Granny controlled herself and said,“ I was joking, handsome".
Sapphire looked at everyone happily and said,“ I will make something for you, granny".
She was hesitant to called her granny, so she asked fearfully.
“ Can I call you granny? Grandmother. If you don't mind? " She asked politely and ever so humbly.
Granny“ aww" at the poor girl who was so kind.
“ Yes you can call me whatever you want dear. Y9u sit with me. There are many servants who can do this work," she said…
“ But I want to make something for you by myself, granny" said sapphire cutely.
Granny nodded and sapphire left but not before looking at Rowan who was looking at her visible waist.
“ Wow, nice acting. She was not bad" rowan praised her thinking it to be her acting. But in reality, sapphire was not acting. She actually wants to take care of granny.
She went inside the kitchen for preparing a meal and the remaining three starts their gossips.
They were laughing and doing fin with granny. She was not like those typical strict granny. She was so friendly, so kind.
After eating, they retired to their rooms and sapphire and rowan entered their own. Where they are not a normal couple.
At evening time everyone came downstairs into living area and start their routine which is gossips now. At that time, Natasha came back from the parlor. She looked ahead and found her mother-in-law, who was mocking her.
Natasha : yo…you?
Granny : yes, me… You came by yourself?
Granny asked surprised.
Natasha : of course, I came back.
Granny : ohh, I thought salon closed.
Natasha : ohhh mom, you are so funny… She faked laughed not to be embarrassed in front of everyone.
Granny : sit down, everyone. I have brought some gifts for you guys.
All were waiting for their gifts, including maids and guards. Granny gave everyone their gifts. Only God knows how she remember everyone. Everyone thanked her and at that time Rowan looked around for sapphire but found her in the kitchen, who was making something for them. His eyes travel her body shape, she has messy bun some hair strands giving shape to her face. Her light, soft curves.
He noticed a stain on her jeans, one red blotch on her white jeans. She was wearing a floral top with white jeans and sneakers. She was not a heel or glittery type girl. Not only that, but she believed in simplicity.
Rowan walked inside the kitchen and gesture all the maids to leave. They left without any argument because they know their master very well. He walked near sapphire and caged her between his arms and kitchen slab. She jumped and shiver with his voice. It was so husky and rough. She looked at the back over her shoulder and found rowan looking at her with strange emotions.
“ Sapphire" he has called her the minute everyone walked out.
“ Go to the room and change your clothes now" he said…
She was confused that why would he ask something like this? He has never asked anything like this. Is something wrong with her clothes? She questioned herself.
“ Why? " She asked him.
“ I said go and change" this time he was more demanding.
He calm himself down and remove her hair strand behind her ear gently. He doesn't mean to scare her. She shivered with his hand sensation. She is so responsive towards his touch.
“ I will serve then I will change" she replied while her heart is beating fast with his proximity. She inhaled and exhaled the air quickly, trying to calm her racing heart.
“ I said go and change, you have a blood stain on your back" he said this time a bit roughly.
Her eyes went wide, and she quickly turned around in his arms, facing his back to the kitchen counter. Her cheeks turn into deep red due to embarrassment and she looked down. She was busy hiding her discomfort, and then all of a sudden, granny called her outside.
