Rowan was numb, he just held the goon color and was sitting like a statue. What if something happens to her? What if she is not fine? What will he do, now he can't live without her? This thing itself scare him the most. He was not someone who was attached to anyone apart from his family, but now she has entered that zone of him.
Here, guards ran towards the place where Sapphire was unconscious, and she was tied by ropes. Her mouth was closed by tapes. They quickly untied her ropes and then sprinkle some water on her, she was moving slightly. She starts opening her eyes with great difficulty.
She coughs suddenly and then one of the guard came with a water bottle. He made her drink water and here rowan was not moving. He just starts hitting that man again and again.
Where sapphire got fully conscious, she looked around with her dazzling eyes and found Rowan's back, it was as if he were beating someone. She was looking at then, when she realized that he will kill that man if someone didn't stop him. She looked around but found no guard, none trying to stop him. Furthermore, she gestures them, and then they move forward, they tried to stop him, but he was dumb to their pleadings.
Sapphire : RO… Rowan, she called him softly, which was not audible to him… So, she tried again…
ROWAN… She shouted with all her strength she could muster up.
Everything stopped around him. When his name reached his ear in that soft, melodious voice, his whole being was stopped with its intensity. His fist was midair in front of that unconscious man. His men stopped and everything around him faded, just her voice.
He turned around and found his rabbit sitting on the grassy, dirty floor of the forest and trying to balance herself. Their eyes looked, and he found himself in her mesmerizing orbs which were now shining looking at her savior.
He found peace looking at his life. Without him knowing, a teardrop down from his traitor eye, that she is safe. They were looking at one another, trying to take one another pain from their eyes. Both were at peace now. He was looking at her with a small smile on his lips and all of his men were shocked as he never smiled in front of them. Guess what?
This smile is reserved for his rabbit only… Suddenly, Sapphire shouted, looking at the goon behind him. He was trying to stand properly when he fell down from the cliff with a thud. She can't bear someone near death, and here he died in front of her. Rowan looked behind him and found no goon there as he died on the spot. He could be careless. The only being he was worried about is his life, his rabbit.
Rowan looked again at sapphire and came closer towards her. He cupped her face in his rough and dirty hands and looked at her calmly. She was fine and so is he now. He placed his forehead against her and said softly,“ It's okay."
She cried looking at him. It feels like she is seeing him after so long. When the goon catches her, she lost the hope of seeing him again, but here he is, fine and safe. She was crying while holding his color. She was dying to hug him, but he was angry on her for her carelessness. He just ignored it and simply lifted her in his arms“ let's go home" with that he moved out of the forest, and she pouted sadly but didn't utter any other word.
He sat inside his chopper with her in his arms, in his lap and ordered the police inspector“ find that man and I want every detail until next morning" he ordered rudely, and that inspector nodded fearfully.
Rowan is a big name in the world, he can do anything, literally anything, and everyone is afraid of him. He has made himself such that none can dare to disobey him. His one snap and that person will be no more, but unfortunately, it is all useless in front of his granny and newly life.
They started their journey towards their mansion….
As the chopper started, sapphire tried to get down from his lap as she was feeling shy. She tried, but he frowned. She smiled a little at him and then successfully left his lap and sat beside him. Furthermore, she adjusted her dress and looked at him,“ um rowan… How… How's granny?" she asked hopefully.
Rowan : she is fine and safe at the mansion. He replied grumpily. He was trying to control himself from so long for bursting on her.
She smiled at him, but he was least interested in smiling back today. His face was contoured with anger and frustration. She didn't say anything else. She was looking at him from the corner of her eyes as he was busy in his phone. Likewise, she noticed his hand bleeding. With shivering hands she touched his hand and found a slit there, she hissed looking at the wound. Her eyes shed some tears for him, as he must be feeling pain. “ You are bleeding too much, rowan" she cried looking at him.
He pulled back his hand from her soft, shivering hands and said, “it's nothing”.
She pouted, looking at his indifferent behavior, and again held his hand in her. She found a handkerchief in her bag and tied it around his hand to stop the bleeding.
Rowan : what are you doing? He asked confused.
Sapphire : it will stop your bleeding.
She said softly.
Rowan : do you even care? He asked mockingly.
She nodded and replied,“ you also care about me ".
Rowan : what's the point of that care?
Sapphire : means? She asked not getting him.
Rowan : what's the point in taking care of you? When could you be careless about my care? You do what you want. He shouted, releasing his buildup frustration on her, making her scared.
Her smiley, happy face turns into a fearful one, and she shivered at his high tone. She has no idea why he is getting angry on her, she didn't do anything wrong? She thought and pouts sadly.
ROWAN : that's the only reason why I was not letting you and granny go alone. You aren't concerned about my orders. I wanted to make sure that you both are safe. He roared on her shivering form.
She cornered herself in the seat, looking at his dominance. He was dominating her with his powerful aura and muscular body. He leaned over her and ordered in his husky rough voice,“ it was your last outing without me, do get that? " He asked…
She nodded with her big doe eyes watching him. He took his seat and adjusted his shirt. She just realized that why he was not giving her a hug that time because he was angry on her. Now she was hurt for disobeying him. If they didn't disobey, they would have been fine. She mumbled“ sorry ".
Nor he replied, neither he looked at her. She sadly looked outside the window…
