"W-What?" she asked, her voice is trembling a little.
Ewan niya, but she felt na medyo kinilig siya na kinabahan din. He sounded serious. Ngayon nga may napansin siyang kislap sa mga mata nito habang tinititigan siya.
"I like you." walang kurap na sabi nito. His face softened.
She was even more shocked with what he said.
He leaned forward to touch her cheek. "I more than like you..I want you.." he said huskily.
As if in trance, hindi agad naka-react ang dalaga. He was about to kiss her but biglang natauhan si Stacey. She pushed him away from her.
"NO!" protesta niya.
Tumigas ang expression ni Nick.
"What do you mean no?" he asked with a very cold tone. His hands are gripping the wheel.
"Nobyo ka ni Heather." she said while looking out the window.
Hindi niya matagalan ang tingin nito. She didn't hear any reaction from him.
"A-And may boyfriend na ako." she added.
Kailangang ipamukha niya dito na hindi sila pwede kahit deep inside parang may naramdaman siyang kirot.
I can't handle someone like you.You will just break me to pieces pag sawa ka na sa akin. She thought.
"Sino?" malamig na tanong nito.
She played with her fingers on her lap. Deep inside she was waiting for him na ideny na nobya niya si Heather, pero he didn't say anything. Somehow, that hurts.
"I don't have to tell you kung sino siya. "Pilit niyang pinatatag ang boses. She doesn't want him to notice that she's bluffing.

He didn't plan to tell her how he feels. Nasisira lahat ng diskarte nito dahil sa halo-halong emosyon na nararamdaman nito. His jealousy and his desire for her are clouding his disposition.
"Sino ang boyfriend mo? Yung kasama mo kanina o yung dating boss mo?" he asked icily.
He looked at her. He saw her moistened her lips then she shook her head. He suddenly closed his eyes, feeling relieved.
Though he knows that she is talking about Derick, kinabahan pa din ito. Masyadong madaming umaaligid na lalake sa dalaga which pisses him. He feels that he is never sure when it comes to her.Magiging medyo panatag lang siguro ito pag totoong nobya na nito si Stacey.
"Do you think that I will stop pursuing you just because you said you have a boyfriend?" tanong nito.
Napatingin si Stacey ulit dito when he said that. "Pwede ba Mr.Alcantara? For once naman magtino ka sa isang babae lang? I won't tell my sister kung ano ang nakita ko kanina. Pero huwag mo na akong isali sa mga koleksiyon mo! I am not interested! Masaya ako sa nobyo ko." sabi niya bago ibinalik ang tingin sa labas ng bintana.
"Ganyan ba talaga kasama ang tingin mo sa akin? Just to make things straight,hindi ako babaero. Kahit kailan hindi ako nagsabay ng babae." tila may hinanakit na sabi nito.
She sighed then looked at him again. Kailangan niyang maging matigas dahil if hindi, bibigay talaga siya dito. He is sinfully sexy and he sometimes has a way with words lalo na pag he wants to get his way.
Like Derick, bipolar din ito which she finds attractive. Men like them are never boring. To make matters worst, nakikita niya ito unlike Derick and though she hates it to admit it, she finds him physically attractive. Sino ba naman ang aayaw sa Nick Alcantara na to? Pantasya nga ng mga babae .
"What I think doesn't matter. Kaya huwag mo ng i-explain ang sarili mo. Please sir, iuwi mo na ako. Ayaw kong mag-away kami ng nobyo ko. And ayaw ko din na lalong lumaki ang gap namin ni Heather." pakiusap niya.
"For the record, hindi ko nobya si Heather. Hindi mo ba narinig ang sinabi ko? Hindi ako nagsasabay ng babae. I just told you that I want you at hindi ko sasabihin yun if nobya ko ang kapatid mo." he suddenly said.
Hindi alam ni Stacey kung ano ang isasagot niya.
Nainis din siya sa sarili dahil kulang na lang ngumiti siya sa narinig niya. She knows that he is telling the truth. Hindi tipo ni Nick Alcantara ang magsisinungaling. Pero babaero pa din siya! Kahit sinabi niya na hindi niya gf si Heather, may date pa din siya kanina.Tapos basta na lang niya ito iniwan. Ayaw kong maging isa sa mga babae niya! Kay Derick na lang ako! Sabi niya sa sarili.
Nick stepped on the gas as he drove slowly to her house. Yun ang isa sa hindi nito pagsisisihan this time...telling her the truth about him and Heather. He has to make her want him as Nick. He now know na iba si Stacey sa mga babaing nakilala nito . She will never be after his money at lalo naman na hindi lang ang hitsura nito ang magugustuhan ng dalaga.
If she liked Derick na hindi pa nito nakikita, the more that she will have to like him as Nick. His ego is hurt big time dahil sa sinabi ng dalaga that she doesn't find him attractive. Her opinion of him is so bad already and now nadagdagan pa ngayon dahil nagpatangay na naman siya sa damdamin niya.
Sooner or later she will discover na iisa lang si Nick at Derick. Kailangang matutunan na ng dalaga na gustuhin na everything about him. His looks, money, high-handed attitude, his being moody at lalong lalo ang pagiging possessive at seloso niya.
Stacey is determined not to be lured by his charms .She is better off with Derick. Maybe sa susunod na pagkikita nila, sasagutin na niya ito. OA na kung OA, basta alam niya na luluha siya ng dugo at mawawarak lang ang puso niya sa boss niya. She wants to spare herself from being hurt.
She was about to open her door when Nick said, " Hindi pa ako nanligaw ng babae but I will give it a try this time .Sorry if I have been rude and acted like a beast in the restaurant .Hindi naman ako bayolente. I try to control myself most of the time but I am only human I am not perfect. I want you to like me Stacey. I am not as bad as you think I am." he said habang nakatingin sa kanya.
"Sir, mas madaming babae ang bagay sayo. Hindi ako yun. May nobyo na ako and unfair sa kanya if papayagan kitang ligawan mo ako." paliwanag niya. Hindi niya dapat masyadong kinokontra ito. Lalo itong machachallenge sa kanya pag nagkataon. Besides, sa ayaw at sa gusto niya, boss niya ito. They have to live in harmony lalo sa opisina.
Basta ang sarili niya ang kakastiguhin niya. Hindi pwedeng mahulog siya kay Nick Alcantara.
"I am the man for you Stacey. You will be mine, never forget that." he said with confidence. Akin ka na and I will not let any one take you away from me.He added only to himself.
