Leah's point of View
Damon smirked as he was on top of me. He pressed himself into me even more that he almost weighed me down. What the hell is this?! Can't he see Amoux?
"Aren't you going to stand up, Damon?" Amoux asked, annoyed. "Is it fun to be on top of Leah?"
I gave Damon a sharp look and pushed him even harder. Because of that, he has decided to stand up and is triumphantly beam.
"We're not done training yet," Damon told me, but Amoux pulled me away.
"What you are doing is not training. You're just teasing and flirting with her."
Damon's face became severe, but he still tried to glance at me and slowly maliciously smile. "Amoux, focus on Anaya. The Lycan ordered me to care for Leah, so leave us alone."
"Anaya is waiting, why don't you take care of her instead of always watching over here. Isn't she your mate? Leah is merely your personal doctor," added Damon.
He walked closer to me and pulled me from Amoux. Damon's words hurt me; he was right. Amoux and Anaya are mates, so why am I still in trouble? And why is Amoux here to interfere?
"It's better that you just go to Anaya. Don't disturb us while Leah and I are doing something."
Amoux looks down on Damon while Damon doesn't back down to his cousin either.
This is starting to irritate me.
"Yeah, you're right! Why am I bothering you, anyway? Do what you want, and I don't care if you make out here," Amoux retorted as he walked away from us.
'Why do you have to say that, Amoux? Do you think of me that way?
Oh, right... He will only touch me when he wants, so why am I still surprised?
"Oh, are you hurt? Leave him alone, he'll know what he's wasting," Damon told me.
I took a deep breath, and I should focus on our practice.
We started training again, and I was almost breathless. I quickly punched Damon in his stomach, which shocked him.
"Whoa! You're a fast learner. I shouldn't be easy on you," Damon said, shaking his head at me.
I laughed. I kicked and stomped on him one after another.
"Fuck!" Damon shouted as my punch hit his head. I immediately stopped and held his head.
"S-Sorry, I enjoyed it too much," I told him meekly.
He snorted while looking at me. He held my hand that was holding his head. He seems to have changed the way he looks at me.
"Watching you laugh makes my heart flutter. I'm glad that you're happy."
"..." I didn't answer and avoided my eyes. It feels awkward.
Damon and I decided to rest first. He stood next to me and gave me water. I felt indecisive as he sniffed at the water.
"It's sealed so it's impossible for it to contain poison," he said with a frown.
"It's not like that, I'm just not used to being treated like this."
I heard him laugh while drinking water. Okay, Damon is handsome, but Amoux is more stunning. I don't know what's wrong with Amoux. When I was young, I could hardly take my eyes off him.
"What are you thinking?"
"Why are you staring at me?" I asked back.
"You haven't got a boyfriend yet, right?"
Because of his question, I coughed, and he immediately patted my back while giggling. What's so funny?
Is it funny that I've never had a boyfriend? Do I have to experience having a boyfriend? I glanced at Anaya and Amoux and saw Amoux's frowning eyes while looking at Damon and me.
Anaya was talking to him while Amoux couldn't take his eyes off me. Was he upset because an omega like me was making fun of the higher ranks? Because I'm an omega, I'm not allowed to talk to those above me. Is that it? Why are you like that, Amoux?
"So, you've never really had a boyfriend, right?" Damon repeated.
"I don't have time to have a boyfriend. I prefer to learn more about medicine."
He frowned while listening to what I said. He bit his lip so much that my eyes focused on his red lips.
"Your life is boring. It's good that you all enjoy it first, you haven't seen your mate yet right?"
I didn't say anything because I didn't want to answer either. I glanced at Amoux again, but I regretted it. I saw Anaya lean up to give him a sweet kiss.
'Take your eyes off, Leah! You're hurting yourself!'
I didn't take my eyes off the two of them. I also saw Amoux's response to Anaya's kiss. I turned to Damon when he suddenly touched my waist.
"You shouldn't be looking everywhere." Damon extended his hand to me, waiting for me to accept it.
"Do you want to run with me? I want to see your wolf."
"Is this also one of the things I should train?"
He nodded and waved his hand, telling me he's been waiting.
"You're not used to shift yet, right? Don't you want to train that too so you can get used to it faster?"
I stared at his hand. I just stood up without accepting it, so he looked at me, eyes almost shining.
"You're really different, Leah. You are the only woman who can do that to me. I'm getting more and more interested in you."
I just ignored him and started walking, but he followed me. I saw that he was taking off his clothes and my eyes widened.
"What are you doing, Damon?"
I heard him laugh. "Do you want to ruin your clothes? I'm getting undressed so I can wear something later."
Why would I undress to try the shifting?!
Is it needed? No way...
In the end, I felt defeated.
"Let's meet at the entrance. I'm going to undress there," I snarled as I pointed to the big tree quite close.
"Woah, a sensitive werewolf."
I didn't say anything to him anymore.
I took off my clothes and started shifting into wolf form. I'm still not used to it, but I started running towards the opening that was Damon and I's meeting place. My eyes widened when I saw the giant wolf.
I forgot that Damon has Lycan blood, so he's a giant wolf to me. It walks around me like he's proud.
"Is that you, Leah?" I was surprised to hear Damon's voice in my head.
"Yes."
Damon came up to me and wagged his tail. I was surprised when he sniffed me.
"What the hell are you doing, Damon!"
"Let's run."
He started instantly, and I almost couldn't catch up with him at his speed.
After what Damon and I did, I just wanted to lie down in my bed. My body is tired because we almost chased each other in the forest.
My body is weak because of the training. And I know, tomorrow, it will happen again.
"Ugh! I want to run away." I opened my room, and all the lights were off.
I immediately took off my clothes and went to the bathroom to soak in the bathtub. Suddenly I heard a loud rustling; as a result, I scarily stood up.
Who is that?
I went out of the bathroom again but didn't see anyone inside. But I was almost stopped when someone covered my mouth.
This sweet smell...
What is he doing here? Shouldn't he be with Anaya now?
"It's annoying to see you happy with Damon. You'll regret smiling at him," Amoux whispered coldly with a taint of anger.
I would have struggled; however, he immediately claimed my lips. Then, I was violently thrown on the bed.
"You should only smile at me, Leah. Offering your smile to other men will cause you a punishment. I'll show your punishment tonight."
