Leah? Are you all right?
I punched the punching bag hard. I've been practicing for a while now, but I can't get Leah out of my mind. I can't be bothered thinking that she and Amoux are together now. I know that someone is interceding for them, but I don't know why I am like this. Shit!
I was panting when I sat down. How many hours have I been practicing? two? three? Or four?
I heard footsteps, but I didn't look at them because I knew who they were. Why are they here again? They will say something useless to me again. I'm tired of what they want. Since I was young, I've always followed them. I can hardly do what I want!
"Damon, what is this I hear you're doing? You're flirting with that useless Leah," Mommy said to me, and I became enraged. Leah is no slouch! She's special, I know that. Not because she can heal, but because she has a good heart.

"William, Damon has grown up, but he still doesn't have the throne! Amoux's archer is near the Nightwalker! Instead of flirting with that omega girl, it's better for him to find a way to become the leader of the Nightwalkers!" My ears hurt because of what I heard from Mommy. Why is he just a throne? He's too selfish! He still feels for me!
"Yvonne, it's not right that we are in too much of a hurry." Daddy spoke calmly, then took a cigarette and lit it.
"Ha! Are you telling the truth? Nightwalker was talking about them all over Omega! Shouldn't Anaya be the one he approaches because you're an Alpha Female?"
I stood up because why did they come here just to argue in front of me? Am I really their child?
Why are they like this to me? Is I just a tool in their hands?
"Why don't you explain it to us, Damon? Did you think we would like that omega of yours? He won't help you when you become the Nightwalker's Lycan!" I tried to relax after hearing what Mommy was saying to me. "How did Leah become weak?" They don't know it, so why are they judging it?
"Mommy, aren't you glad you're not an Alpha Female? After all, Daddy likes Luna more than you. He had no choice but to mate with you because he thought he would inherit the throne," I said seriously. I saw the anger in mommy's eyes, then she quickly slapped me.
"Yvonne! You don't have to spank your child!"
"William, he has no way! Why did he have to tell me that? Am I not his mother? I gave birth to him! He owes me his life!"
"I hope you didn't just give birth to me like that, because I didn't want to trouble the ones you like! You're selfish, mom! Only your ambition is important to you! You thought Daddy would inherit the throne, so you married him! You're the weak mommy, not like Leah!" I shouted angrily. I winced as I felt Daddy punch me. I'm used to what they do to me.
As a matter of fact, I'm considered to be the son of Lycan Hector and Luna. They are the only ones who worry about me whenever I am quiet; they are the only ones who think of how to help me.
But my parents are too ungrateful. They want to take everything the Lycan has because they think they own it. They think that they only stole from Amoux what should have been theirs.
"You have no way! Maybe you're forgetting we're your parents, Damon!"
"Daddy!" I shouted angrily. I saw the change in his eyes, as if he was holding back from shifting.
I glanced at mommy and her face was also full of anger. Why am I wrong? After all, they are the ones at fault here. They used me for their own ambition!
"We want you to stay away from Leah! Do you understand? He will not help our plan,"
Our plan? That's just their plan. At first, I wanted to take everything from Amoux because I believed that Daddy should have the throne. But as time went on, my plan suddenly changed. I hate Amoux. I hate him, but we are cousins. We are both of the same bloodline!
Shouldn't Amoux and I still be working together? I know that Amoux knows what mommy and daddy want, so he will treat me like that. Amoux doesn't trust me because of my parents.
Because they always say that I should inherit everything. I should be the only one!
"What if I do not want to? I'm tired of being your puppet!" I screamed loudly. Are they really my parents? Why are they like this?
I felt myself thrown against the wall because of Daddy's strong blow to me. Did they only have children to use for what they wanted to do?
