Amoux's point of view...
"L-Leah," I called out weakly to Leah. She closed his eyes. She was trying to heal me. I tried to push her because I knew that while she was healing me, she would lose her strength. That's the exchange every time she heals.
Does she really deserve to heal me? Is it worth it that she should consider giving up her life for me?
"A-Amoux, don't be naughty. I can't concentrate on what you're doing. You need to get better because we need you, the Nightwalker needs you," Leah said emphatically, then held me again.
I feel as if energy is entering my body. I stopped myself from moaning at what she was doing. We have to get out of here, no matter what.

"Rest first, then heal me when you're strong," She nodded while looking at me. I noticed sadness in her eyes, as if she was dissatisfied with herself.
"Amoux, I want to go home. I have more plans," I glanced at her when she spoke. It's my fault, so why should I make her feel sorry for all my clumsiness?
I stared at her because this might be the last time I saw her. I know that our enemies intend to kill me. They wanted to kill me for a long time because they wanted revenge on the Lycan. Several years have passed since what happened.
"Don't you know that I want to study a medicinal plant? I've been looking for that for a long time because it could save many lives, Amoux," I nodded because of what she said. I knew that was one of her plans, so Lycan and Luna supported her to speed up the construction of her future laboratory.

I don't understand why Leah always has this effect on me. She is the only reason I am angry or happy during the day.

Leah averted her eyes from me. I heard her sigh, as if she was struggling to make a decision. I don't know if she is losing hope because no one has come to our aid yet.
I glanced at the door when it opened. I saw Dylan, Rozen, and Giovanni frowning at us or at me. Dislike was evident on their faces.
"Leah, I'll remove the rope from your feet so that you are not difficult. No reason for you to stand by Amoux side," Giovanni approached Leah, then she picked her up to get her away from me. I felt like a heavy object fell on my chest because I saw him carrying Leah.

Suddenly, we heard loud shouting, so Leah and I looked at each other. His eyes also widen because we know that someone is going to help us. The three Alphas in front of us were immediately alarmed and rushed out to engage.
"L-Leah, I know we can get out of here," My words were full of hope because I wasn't going to let Leah be left with the three Alphas who were crazy about her.
She nodded slowly. We were both nervous because we might be thinking wrong. We panicked when two people entered the room where we were hiding. I saw two beta guards from Nightwalker.
"Amoux," the beta called me. They immediately came to me and then helped me remove the rope that was tied to me.
One whispered, "Wolfsbane." Whispered one. It turns out that Giovanni put wolfsbane on the rope they used on me. That's why I almost fainted trying to remove it. That's why I can't shift either.
"Make sure Amoux will be safe. That is one of the lycan's most important commands,"
I immediately ran to Leah and removed the rope from her. I immediately stood him up so she could breathe easily.
