"Amoux!" I was stunned when I heard Anaya's voice. I didn't know we were already in Nightwalker. I feel like half of my personality was left behind when Leah was left there.
I saw the worried faces of Luna and the other members. Anaya ran to me and hugged me tightly. I took a deep breath then looked at the Lycan, who was just looking at me with a serious face.
"I'm so worried about you! We have been trying to find you for several days," Tears were falling on Anaya's beautiful face as she told me that. But I was not taken by her tears. I still remembered how Leah looked at me earlier.
I know that she was hurt because the beta herself said that she was not part of the Nightwalker. She thinks about other people and how she can help them, but they don't.

Luna grabbed me and pulled me to my room. I stared at her. I thought I would never see mommy again. I know that Giovanni will do exactly what they plan to do with me.

I swallowed hard because I wanted to tell her something, but I was too scared. I want to ask her about the decision made by the Lycan. Is that really true?

I coughed and immediately stood up. Damon and I have known each other for a long time. We are cousins, but we both don't show weakness to each other.
"Amoux Sergio, why did you leave Leah there?" Damon asked angrily, then pushed the beta guards so hard that they also splashed. He grabbed me by my collar and lifted me up.
"You are a coward! That a mere woman would give her life for your sake! Bring Leah back right now!"

It felt like there was a lump in my throat as I thought that Damon's feelings for Leah were real. I thought Damon was only using her to get back on me, but I was wrong. Because if Damon was only using her for that, he wouldn't have let his reaction be like this.
