I opened the room that Leah was using, then I rested deeply. It's only been a day since I came home to NightWalker, but I feel like something is missing in my personality.
I glanced at Leah's bed. I lay there and took her pillow, which still had traces of her smell. I don't know why, but every time I smell Leah's scent, I feel calm.
'Leah, wait for me there.'
I closed my eyes to better smell Leah on her pillow. But I glanced at the door when I heard a loud knock.
I immediately opened it and saw Damon looking at me seriously. Damon is also worried about Leah.
"What are you doing here?"
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that? What are you doing here in Leah's room? Didn't you think about what your mate would say because of what you're doing?"
"Damon, I didn't know you were concerned about Anaya as well."
"I don't care about your mate, Amoux. I want Leah. I know you know that. Don't you?"
Did he just come here to fight with me? I didn't want to leave Leah behind! Our already strained relationship as cousins is further strained.

"Damon, does Leah like you?"

Damon is right. That's how I used to think of Leah. She's just an omega, so why should I take her seriously? She gave herself to me willingly!
My breathing became heavier as I thought about how I should treat her. When the Alphas took us, I was the only thing on their mind.
She wants me to recover more than she wants to live. She prefers that Nightwalker have a future with Lycan even though we don't treat her well.

Damon took a deep breath, then he slowly grinned because of what I said. He even shook his head.

Damon is right. Mates are really important because they are a wolf's strengths and weaknesses. But I'm weaker now because Leah isn't by my side. No Leah yelling at us every time she was upset with what I was doing.

I just nodded. Damon and I went to the Lycan office together. We even saw Luna, who was obviously still hurt to this day.

We just passed her and then we went straight to the Lycan office. We see the lycan just staring at the window, like he's deep in thought.

Damon and I looked at each other because even when we were sitting, we were together.
"We found out that Leah is doing just fine in the Red Moon Pack. Our Amoux was right when he said that our enemies would not touch her. I was stunned to hear that. I know I should be happy that Leah is fine, but it bothers me."
"I don't know why I feel uneasy about her being there in the Red Moon Pack."
"It is impossible for the Red Moon Pack to hurt Leah because she is part of that pack," added the Lycan.
"Lycan, what do you mean? Leah is part of the Nightwalker, so it's impossible for her to be part of the Red Moon Pack!"
I almost stood up because of what I found out. I don't know the thing Lycan refers to.
"Lycan, did you learn the truth? How did Leah become part of the Red Moon Pack?" Damon tries to be calm, but he fails.
"Because that's exactly the pack her parents came from. We found out about that too late." The Lycan looked away as if he didn't want to tell us something.
"We don't need to rush to save her because her alpha won't let anyone hurt her. I'm sure Alpha Giovanni might know all this too."
It can't be! I knew that Alpha Giovanni was serious about Leah. I feel like Leah has been kidnapped as I wait for the right time to save her.
We have to plan all of this. I know Alpha Giovanni won't let us get Leah.
"Because he told his members that she was part of the Red Moon Pack. And I also found out that he intends to make it Luna."
I was shaking with anger. I want to disappear when I hear that thing.
'Please, Leah, don't let Alpha Giovanni make you Luna.'
'I will save you from the Red Moon Pack. We are your family. Only with Nightwalker.'
The meeting ended without Damon and I speaking. We both couldn't find the words to say.
He pretended to cough.
"Amoux, I know that I like Leah, but I don't want her to end up with Alpha Giovanni. If she goes to you, I will be happy because she is still part of the Nightwalker."
I just nodded to him. Damon's face showed concern as he looked outside.
"Starting tomorrow we will train. We need to be strong so that when we have to attack the Red Moon Pack, we will not be defeated." Damon nodded at what I said.
"Let's choose the strong ones so that we can be sure that we will succeed." I added.
"All right. I will take care of that. But let's not let Lycan know this yet."
I felt happy because Damon and I had the same goal, and that was to bring Leah back to Nightwalker.
The day passed that we started training secretly. Damon selected the best betas willing to help us enter the Red Moon Pack.
I was out of breath as we started running to speed up our action. I stopped running when I saw Anaya just watching me.
"What is he doing here?"
I don't know why I'm not happy to see Anaya. The Luna always visits here because Leah is not there to teach her. She smiled as she walked towards me.
I just sighed because it wasn't Anaya's fault why Leah wasn't there. But I can't help but think that I wish Leah was the only one with me.
Shouldn't I be happy that my mate is with me?
"Amoux, you're here. I've been looking for you for a while now." I felt Anaya hug me, but I couldn't feel any comfort. I don't feel a tickle or a spark like I feel with Leah every time I hug her.
"Yes, we decided to practice first." I caught a glimpse of Damon's face frowning as he looked at Anaya and me.
"Hmmm.. I miss you. Ever since you came back here, you've been ignoring me." I felt guilty because I heard the sadness in the tone of her voice.

As time went on, my chest hurt more and more, so I just closed my eyes.

"L-Leah." My voice stuttered as I called the name of the girl I wanted.
I felt the presence of my companions. Leah? What is she doing?
"Sh*t, Amoux! We will take you to the pack doctors."
"L-Leah." I said, crying. Damon's face showed confusion as he put me on my back.
"We own Leah! Alpha Giovanni can't get her.'
