Leah's point of view
I was surprised when Damon told me the news, worry was too evident on his face. He walked into my room, and I saw his eyes form into tears so he blinked to stop himself from crying. Is this the reason why Amoux didn't even visit me while I was in the hospital?
“What do you mean, Damon? Amoux didn't even go here after you two went back to the Nightwalker.” My wolf was howling that her mate was missing, she was panicking that maybe something nasty happened to our mate. But, if he wasn't alive, we would feel him, I think because he's our mate. We have connections to each other, I don't even feel that Amoux was in danger.
“Yeah, after we went home. I saw him that night, he looked problematic about his father.” I nodded at him and sighed to calm myself.
“Did you ask him about his problem? Maybe Lycan nagged him?”
“I don't think so, Leah. He asked me about the Lycan and Luna if they lord each other.” I paused after what I heard from Damon. It seems that Amoux discovered his father's relationship with Richelle, and he can't accept it.
“We're trying to search for him, but we didn't even find him. So, I decided to go here to ask for your help.”
“I am willing to help you, after all. Amoux is my mate, and my wolf was too worried about him. I will tell my Betas to search for him on our lands.”
“T-Thank you, Leah. Lycan didn't even know that I went here in your pack. I was too worried for my cousin.”
I understand, Damon, but I remembered what Richelle told me. Amoux isn't dead, because he was the future Lycan King. He will inherit his father's throne, but she didn't tell me how Amoux took the throne.
“You don't need to worry about him. I think he was fine. You know we're mates, and we have connections, right? I didn't even feel that he was in danger.” I quickly mind-link Almera to assign a lot of guards to search for Amoux. At first, she didn't like it, but after a second she changed her mind. What a bitch!
“I will inform you if we locate Amoux,” I told Damon. I think it's too easy to locate Amoux because this land was too small. And this land was owned by his father and me. How is it possible that he was missing inside of our land?
“It's been two weeks that we searched for him. And we can't even find him. No one sees Amoux leaving in the Nightwalker because the last time I saw him was midnight.”
Damon and I began walking when I looked at the picture hanging on the wall, I saw a large copy of the land. The map looks too old, so I walk closer to it. I'm still wondering why the Red Moon Pack displays this map. Damon followed me and he started at the map.
“Woah, this map is amazing.”
“This map was made by Alpha Giovanni's grandfather,” I murmured, I saw the land of the Nightwalker, but what I caught in my eyes is the middle part of the land. I saw there was a big house, like a mansion in the middle part which made me confused because I was sure that it didn't exist.
I didn't even see a mansion in the middle part of the land, what I saw was a small house in it. The house was made of wood.
“I was confused, I grew up in the Nightwalker, and Amoux and I were always walking in the middle part of this land since I was a kid. We didn't even see a big mansion there.”
“Maybe, this map was a hoax,” he added. I agreed with Damon, maybe this map was fake, so I nodded at him.
“I think so, too.” Damon and I started walking away from the map, but his eyes were more severe than he was thinking about the map.
“Damon, you don't need to worry about Amoux. Richelle told me that he will be the Lycan King in the future. So it means that he was fine.”
“Leah, Richelle was dead. How did she talk to you?”
“I will tell you once we find Amoux.”
“Leah, I remembered when we went home, Amoux and I decided to take a bath in the small lake. And we saw a woman, and the rogues tried to kill her. Amoux devised to help her, but I don't like the woman.”
“Does she didn't look hot in your eyes?” I teased him, he widened his eyes on me as if he was stopping to tease him. I chuckled at him and I saw his face scowled.
“I don't think so. You're the only woman who looks too hot in my freaking eyes.” I was caught off-guard when Damon said it to me. He cleared his throat, then tried to cough.
“But, Amoux was now your mate. I'm sad that you finally met your mate,”
“Don't tell me that you didn't even find your mate until now.”
“I met my mate, but she doesn't want me. I will tell you about it once I am ready.”
“Damon, I'm sorry to hear that.”
“It's alright. At first, it was too painful that my mate didn't want me. But your relationship with Amoux was more painful. You two keep fucking each other but you both are scared to gamble your relationship.” I groaned after I heard him, does he think that is funny?
“Yeah, right. I wish I could kick your balls.” It's been hours but we can't find Amoux. Every hour passed, and my wolf kept growling about the disappearance of our mate. Damon didn't even leave the pack, he was staying here as if he wasn't scared that the Lycan would discover it.
“Alpha Leah, we still didn't locate him.” I nodded to the man, who informed me about the result of our search. Damon was still with me, we tried to walk around, maybe Amoux was trying to prank us.
“I think Amoux wasn't in my territory, Damon.” Damon bowed his head, I know he was unhappy with the outcome.
After we walked we decided to go back to the pack house but we stopped when I saw two men, they looked serious.
“Are you sure about that? We both grew up here in this land, but I don't even know that there was a mansion existing in the middle part of the land.” Damon and I stared at each other and decided to walk slowly so we could still find other information.
“I'm sure about it. I was shocked when I saw it using my eyes. I thought it was just a myth. If you want to know that I was telling you the truth, then come with me.”
“Our ancestors talked about that land. I thought it was a magical land owned by a witch.”
“Yeah, but when I went there to look for it. I saw a beautiful woman walking toward a man who was lying on the ground. I think this woman was w which.”
“That bitch! How dare she kidnap my cousin!” Damon growled so loud which made the two men stop talking to each other. They look scared that Damon was angry about what they found out.
“Hi, are you sure that there was a mansion in the middle part of this land?” The man nodded, and he looked one hundred percent sure of what he was telling to his friend.
“Alpha Leah, this mansion looks like it doesn't exist because it exists when it was midnight. Our ancestors know about it, even Alpha Giovanni's grandparents.
“But, how did the late Alpha know about this?” I can't stop myself from asking again, we need to find Amoux as soon as possible.
“Alpha Giovanni's grandfather met this woman, named Samantha. He saved her from a rogue, and this woman was secretly obsessed with him. We didn't even know if she was a witch, but I believe that she was. She owned the mansion that I was telling my friend about. Samantha the witch, was too possessive of the man that she chose. And if a man is missing in this land, it's because of her.” Damon's hands turned into a fist
“Are you sure about this? Do you have any evidence?”
“I don't have any evidence but I was sure because I saw it using my eyes. I even saw the woman, whose name was Samantha. Two weeks ago, I saw that she was dragging a man into her mansion. I didn't even see the man, and I knew that this man was her other target. They said this woman wanted a family because she doesn't have one. That's why she was seducing her target to impregnate her.”
No way! Does Amoux fucked Samantha but why I don't even feel a burning sensation in my chest if he does that?
