Leah's point of view
“What do you mean? You will use me as bait for that witch?” Alpha Brandon roared like a lion after I told him about my plan. He was disappointed that I needed his help to find Amoux. Alpha Brandon was glaring at me, and his veins were popping out on his neck and head. Even his eyes were glowing red as if he wanted to cut off my neck.
Alpha Brandon shook his head, I know he was too disappointed in me. He breathed so fast that he was calming his wolf.
“Alpha Brandon, I know you're too disappointed–”
“And I am thankful that you're aware of that. Alpha Leah, why do you think that I will agree to this? I don't want it.”
“But, Alpha Brandon–”
“You will use me as bait for that freaking witch who was fucking random men to have a child. What do you think of me? Okay, I like you but it doesn't mean that I will agree to this! And, it's the Nightwalker's problem anymore if Amoux was with that fucking woman!”
“Alpha Brandon—”
“No! Even if you promise that you'll marry me, I won't accept this.” He raised his hand to stop me from what I was about to say. I turned my head down, maybe I am selfish. Alpha Brandon was right, it's the Lycan's problem if Amoux was with that woman.
A silence came, and Alpha Brandon had dissatisfaction plastered on his face. I heard his heavy breathing, so I turned to look at Almera who was looking at me using her awe expression.
“Almera, can you please leave us? I want to talk with Alpha Brandon alone.” I talked to her using the mind link, making Almera's eyes widen. I groaned because I knew what she was thinking about me.
“Dont you dare fuck with him to make him agree to whatever you want. I know how pussy works when it comes to men but I won't let you.”

“Don't you dare cry, bitch. Okay, I will go.” Almera hesitated to leave me but she trusted me. When I glanced back at Alpha Brandon, I saw him staring at me with his severe eyes.
“Alpha Brandon, please don't think that I am just using your feelings, alright? I am not a user, it's just that—”

“Okay, will you please let me finish what I'm about to tell you? You keep cutting my words!”
Alpha Brandon blinked when I shouted at him in frustration. I heard him cuss then avoided his eyes on me. His eyes weren't focused like he intentionally didn't want to look at me.
“Okay, I know that we both hate the Nightwalker. But I think we aren't like them, and I think you aren't like them. I know that you will help someone even though your life is at risk. That's why I trusted you to do this.”
“You're sugarcoating me to accept this. Alpha Leah, I know—”
“Please, do you want me to kneel in front of you? I know that the Lycan King did nasty things but it's not Amoux's fault right?”
“Don't you dare do that!”

I will automatically want it.” My eyes widened at what he said, Alpha Brandon was crazy but I liked it. I gasped when he grabbed my waist and pulled me for an embrace. It feels like something was preventing me from swallowing. I felt my cheeks numb for what he was doing to me.
“A-Alpha Brandon, what are you doing to me?” I wanted to curse myself that I stammered for what he was doing. I don't want him to think that he successfully intimidates me or acts like a teenager with her crush.
“I just want to hug you. When you shouted at me, I thought that my wife kept nagging me to do the right thing, Alpha Leah. When I saw your eyes expand while nagging, I found it too cute to resist. You're the most beautiful woman I ever met, and I will cherish you.”
“Alpha Brandon, I don't even know that you're too cheesy.”
“I was acting like this in front of you because I like you.”

Alpha Brandon slowly broke into the wall that I'd made, and I'm scared because I know that Amoux was my mate, but it is Alpha Brandon who treated me with respect and love.
“I will help you with this, but in exchange, you will give me a chance to prove my love for you. I don't want to force you to marry me, I want to do everything for you,” he added. I nodded my head to agree with him in exchange. But for me, Alpha Brandon doesn't want to do this in exchange because I will give him a chance to prove himself.
“Okay, what's our plan?”
“Alpha Brandon, I will tell you about her first. You don't need to kill her, for I know that she was sad about not having a baby or a family.”
After hours, Almera went back to the meeting room with the others. I saw Damon on the side, listening to the plan that we were about to do. We need to wait for a few days to see Samantha take our bait, which is Alpha Brandon.
After a few days, Alpha Brandon started to go to the middle part of the land. We make sure that Samantha won't notice who he was, since we need to ensure everything so our effort won't be a waste.
I am nervous that maybe it won't be successful, but everything changed when Alpha Brandon told me that she met Samantha on the lake.
“Did you mean that you saw her bathing on the lake? Naked?” It feels like my blood boiled from what I heard. I know I was the one who pushed Alpha Brandon to do this. But now, I think that I was wrong to choose him for this.
“Y-Yeah.” Alpha Brandon looked away and I felt my heart ache for I think that he was falling for Samantha's charms.
“And then, how was it? Did you fuck her in the lake?” Alpha Brandon's eyes widened in dismay, his cheeks turned crimson.
“N-No. I won't do that.”
“Then why are you acting like a teenage boy, blushing at his crush!” I can't stop myself from being sarcastic with him. Alpha Brandon laughed at me after he faked his cough.
“I was blushing because of you. You look like you want to strangle me when I told you about it. Okay, Samantha was charming, but my heart belongs to you. You don't need to doubt my feelings for you, Alpha Leah.” I rolled my eyes at him but he held my waist and hugged me. My heart was thumping so fast for his actions.
“I was blushing because I imagined you as my wife, who is secretly jealous of other women. I like it when you nagged me, so I can have a reason to shut your mouth using my cock.”
“Alpha Brandon!” I yelled his name out of my lungs but he chuckled at me and I was shocked when he kissed me on my cheeks.
“Shit, I won't be like this. I am the Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack but I was blushing because of you. This isn't right!”
“Alpha Brandon, you're acting like a child.”
“Because I don't even experience how to be a child.” I paused when he told me that Adam was right all along. It seems that he can see someone's past.
I caressed his hair so he immediately shut his eyes. He groaned and then held my waist tightly. I stopped myself to smile but it failed, I liked it when Alpha Brandon was like this, and I was confused that my wolf doesn't want me to stay away from him.
“Uhm, I want to inform you that I will go to her tonight. And I want you to promise me one thing, that you will wait for me to come back here.”
“I promised. Just make sure that you're okay, and kicking, or else, I will beat your ass.”
“If you can do that.”
“I can do that Alpha Brandon, don't think that I can't.” Alpha Brandon finds me amusing, I saw him preventing himself from smiling at me.
“This is unfair, I was in love with you and you're using my charms on me.”
“Oh, shut up, Alpha Brandon!”
“Make me stop using your hotty mouth, my Leah.”
Alpha Brandon with his team went to the middle part of the land. And I don't know why I was worried about him, I know he will do everything to get alive.
“Why aren't you still sleeping?” Almera and Karen went to my side, I was sighing too many times but I can't remove my concern about him.
“Alpha Leah, you should trust Alpha Brandon. He was a great man. He will be back here alive.” Karen says.
“I-I know, and I'm not worried because of him.” I quickly denied it, and I saw them looking at each other.
“You're the Alpha of this pack. Do you want to go there?” Almera asked me.
“Seriously, Almera? Alpha Brandon told us that she won't come there.”
My forehead ceased when I heard Alpha Brandon inform them that he doesn't want me to go there. My heart raced even more, and while I was thinking that he had other plans, I didn't want him to sacrifice himself.
“I want to go there. I want to see him!”
“Alpha Leah, trust him. You don't need to go there.”
“I should. I will go there and you two can't stop me.” I used my Alpha tone and they immediately surrendered. I changed my clothes then Karen and Almera were with me.

I was walking so fast but I was shocked by what I saw. Amoux was with Damon, and I didn't even see Kairo and Adam. Where the heck are they?
“Leah, something happened. I took Amoux because Alpha Brandon wants me to be here with Amoux.” Damon's voice makes me hard to swallow.
“Where's our mate?” Almera inquired.
“They were still in the middle part of the lake. They want to find Alpha Brandon because he was missing when the mansion—”
“T-Tell me you're lying.” I stuttered but Damon closed his eyes before he bowed his head.
“I'm telling you the truth. Alpha Brandon knows that he won't be coming back here if Amoux wasn't there. It's a rule, Leah, you want to see Amoux so he needs to be there in the mansion.” My knees were like jelly after what I discovered. Alpha Brandon knew that Amoux won't be rescued if he won't sacrifice himself in return, so he chose to make me happy even if it caused him to vanish with Samantha.
“N-No, please tell me that you're lying.” My tears were slowly down my cheeks and I felt that I lost someone, who was too important in my heart.
