Imprisoned Chapter 32

••• Prince •••

On my way back to the airport, a smile adorned my face, thinking about the moment when I will return and initiate the relationship I dreamt of.

Unaware whether she will give me a chance or not, I would offer my remaining breaths. I know it must be hard for her to accept me but I could at least try.

I live in you, you don’t know.

“You are smiling too much.” Garry pointed out.

Sighing, I turned to him, “Maybe because I am happy.” I replied in a low tone.

“What spell she has cast on you.”

Garry couldn’t help but to smile a little at my chase towards memorable dreams.

“Anyways, what are we supposed to do? Why do we have to aid Ezekiels? They already have the human killing machine, Zariah. Let them fight Axel on their own.” He said.

“First, you know Axel is second strongest after us. Second, We have close contacts with them, and their disadvantages could affect us. Third, They are the only family who have direct contact with Nathaniel. Zariah, remember?” I explained the complexity of the situation to him.

“I didn’t know they were this close to him. That’s why you are going there? To meet Nathaniel? He will kill you.” He asked

"Not when I am his Brother-in-law. Why would he make his sister a window?" I smirked. Cinzel was my insurance that I wouldn’t die by Nathaniel.

"You made your sister a widow." Garry reminded me and it pricked my chest.

I agree but I had a solid reason. He wouldn’t do that to Cinzel.

I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. Only if Nathaniel had become a King today, we could have easily avoided this ordeal of wars among us but to no avail and Axel was always vile.

The underworld was connected to a web.

“He can’t force Cinzel to become what her Mother was. I am, I was and I will be her guard. Her protection is my duty and Nathaniel must understand that and he will.” I whispered, knowing he would halt immediately if Cinzel refused to hold part in this.

“And I know my Cinzel- sorry- I know Cinzel is anything but a criminal.” I whispered, curling my lips upwards, remembering the day I had when Valencia officially became a Queen and I made a promise with her.

‘Valencia Alroy was the only leader who balanced not us pillars but also took the Aces of the world under her. She was truly a Queen. No one could be on her level.’

When I was twelve, we gathered at the Alroy hideout. A group of people were talking at the lower level. The atmosphere was deadly and everyone could feel it.

Except the group of kids present here.

I wasn’t the only kid there, the future generation was there and all our eyes were fixed on our Queen in pure admiration.

All the upcoming dangerous Vicious Leaders of the Underworld- The Aces.

All of us were inspired by her, wanting to become like her, someone who held authority and power. The Ruler.

Valencia Alroy. The Queen of the underworld.

"They respect you so much." My twelve years old self beamed.

Her head high in pride, her long hairs waving in the air, eyes flickering green with a thick cloud of darkness, smirking evilly.

"It's not respect, it's fear, Princy."

"Wow, I want them to fear me like that too. None of them could dare to hurt you." I turned and saw Sebastian Stellios- the upcoming ruthless beast.

The man with a heart of stone.

My first and fortunately last meeting with him as he lives in the UK.

Lowering her pretty gaze, she chuckled, shaking her head to see which kid said it and turned to him.

"You have to earn this position. Gaining the peak is not as easy as you think, Boy, only the strongest could take this place." She told him in her tempting but assertive voice.

"I will do it!" He was heavily inspired by her.

Straightening her back, the smirk not leaving her lips as she glanced at her kids who were unaffected.

"Did you hear, Nathaniel?!"

"Consider me out of your circle. I can't do this nor do I want to or would let Persephone either."

Nathaniels’ cold response came, not bothering to look at what was happening, reading a book with his sister, Persephone.

I frowned at him.

"You hear? don't you dare to follow Mama's footsteps." He warned Persephone too.

"Okay."

"Leave him, you teach us." I scoffed, glaring at Nathaniel. I hated his dream of becoming a doctor.

Yeah, not only Plague Doctor but he has a real doctorate degree. He is a real doctor.

"My, so many kids. One, two, three... nine. Can I have your name?"

Grinning, Sebastian spoke up first happily, he used to be cheerful and a soulless being.

"I am Sebastian. He is my brother, Ruben."

"I am Zaviyaar, he is Asad and he is Erhan."

Another Ace, the toxic and manipulative trio, Sheikh Brothers. All over the Middle East.

Skilled in attaching strings on a person until they break and become their puppets.

We all turned to the last kid who was hiding shyly, looking down, he also looked five, "Sufiyan..."

The mysterious but broken hearted one. He was the King of Indian Mafia, a king who lost its queen and now lost.

"And nine including my three. Prince, Nathaniel and Persephone."

"Wow, I am the oldest here." I smirked proudly to find kids younger than me. We were obviously children back then, no power, nothing on our own.

"You will become my right hand after all."

Smirking, she gave my head a pat, watching our parents talking below and her hand made my chest boast in pride.

“Yes!” I nodded.

"Hey, you guys want to play?" Nathaniel came, holding Persephone. She was always a shy one. Never letting go of her Brother.

"Sure." Sebastian nodded.

"Let's play tag!" Asad suggested, jumping from happiness.

"Princy, you wanna come?" Smirking, Nathaniel teased me, turning to me.

"Shut up. I am a big man. I don't have time to play." I growled, not wanting to be counted among them. I had responsibility.

"Nobody wants you anyways!" Persephone shouted, clicking her tongue at me.

“How could you, Persephone!?” I gasped and she flinched which calmed me down immediately as all of them left and began to play.

They were laughing, playing and I felt jealous. I wanted to play too but I acted pridefully.

“Do you want to go?” Valencia asked with a smirk, noticing my look.

“No. I am a big boy.” I muttered, folding my arms at my chest.
