Imprisoned Chapter 44

"Has everyone arrived yet?" I asked, walking down the corridor of the Alroy Mansion. It was enormous. More like a castle.

"Not yet. Issac Ezekiel and my Zari- Zariah." He replied as I hummed in response.

"Where is Prince?"

"I saw him in the courtyard, getting furious over Mr Garry.." He replied, I hummed, holding my chin in wonder what caused him to get enraged.

Better not meddle with Prince or else it will scare me but somehow my feet led me in his direction.

I came and saw him yelling at Garry.

"Who the hell told the cops?! Don't you know, the warehouse was our core!? What If they raid it or take it under custody?!" Prince shouted, increasing my heart rate.

Motioning the men behind me to leave us alone knowing in their presence I had to act strong and superior to what I could never display in front of Prince.

After they left, I held his hand weakly, calling him innocently, "Prince…"

His voice stopped, turning to look at me, "Cinzel?"

"Is everything alright?" I asked, concerned. He was taken aback for a moment.

Glancing at Garry and then at me with a softened gaze, finally emitting a sigh, "Someone told the cops about my main warehouse."

"That's too bad! What are you going to do now?" I gasped.

"I will sort it out." He said, motioning Garry to leave.

"I hope you will." I smiled.

"I swear I will kill the person who dared to share my information." He muttered under his breath but turned his attention to me.

"How are you?"

I took his hand in my freezing ones, putting it over my chest to let him feel the perturbation afflicting my mind.

"Too nervous." I chuckled. He smiled, pulling me closer.

"Why? I am here.. Right near your heart." He whispered seductively, pressing his palm more, moaning slightly, I looked away creating some distance between us which made me blush furiously.

"G-Get away.. Someone w-will see." I whispered shyly, smirking as he lifted my chin, meeting my timid ones with his affectionate ones.

"Let them… you are my wife after all…"

His hand traveled to my waist, pressing his lower body against mine, my eyes lost in his.

"Everyone here calls me your young bride." I said jokingly.

He laughed a little, inclining his face to mine, "Maybe I am too old for you."

I smirked, moving my other hand to his neck, "Or perhaps, too much for me to handle…"

Twirling my fingers in his soft locks with those spellbinding eyes holding magic. The fetters of my heart attached themselves to his domain.

"Either way, I am not complaining as long as you are near me." He said sweetly, cupping my face and kissing my forehead.

I giggled and was about to say something. The sound of clearing a throat broke our rhythm.

Abruptly pulling away, I turned and saw De Villiers, "It's time, Boss. Come." He said while looking furiously at Prince.

"Uh.. Okay." Prince also left with Garry as I left with him, bewildered at his glares towards my husband.

"Can I ask you something?" He asked as we walked down the corridor.

"What is it?" I asked with my heart on the verge of bursting with nervousness. The disturbance of my mind stole my ability to think but I managed to act unaffected.

"Why are you so devoted to Prince?" He asked.

Stopping in my tracks, I turned to him, "Do I seem devoted?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes. You do. More like a puppet in his presence. Why is everyone around me a puppet?" He asked worriedly. I couldn’t see his face but he seemed enraged.

“Everyone around you?”

“Nothing. Can't you see he is manipulating you?”

Bewildered by his behavior, I put my hand on my waist, furrowing my brows.

"What happens between us is stimulated by emotions. I do it because I want to," I replied with a shrug.

"Why can't you notice, you are captured."

A sad smile came on my lips, sighing, "I know. I am.. And.."

I looked up at him with a wide smile, renewing the reality where I could breathe without his name too but my soul has forgotten the fact.

"My imprisonment is his satisfaction."

"Imprisonment?"

"In his heart. We are married, silly, how else do you expect a married couple to act? Hate each other? Since you don’t have a lover, you won’t understand, De Villiers." I winked, giggling a little.

“Maybe I don’t after all… I can never understand.”

“Hey, what happened? Did I say something wrong?” I chuckled nervously, he was now sad.

“Nothing.” He mumbled and ignoring it, we went to the room where our meeting was held.

“Your Mother used to place her meetings there too.” He whispered.

“I am not her.”

“Exactly. You are nowhere near her.” He chuckled, earning a glare from me.

With each step I took toward the room the amusement on my face faded, inhaling deeply and forcing an unbreakable façade to show who rules.

Becoming the cold and heartless person I detest but there was no escape from his wolfish environment.

The moment I entered, all eyes fell upon me. Prince was present with Garry, Theo with Zaniel, Issac with his daughter Zariah and another Alessandra and finally Axel Hyraz with five other men.

Halting my breaths of pressure and replacing the distress by dominance, I entered.

"Who knew Prince's bride would be so young? You surely caught a big fish that our Zaniel couldn't." Axel mocked, smirking and putting his elbow on the table, contemplating my form.

"Too bad you couldn't find her before I did." Prince retorted, rolling his eyes.

"Is there more than power, hmm? Do you love-"

"Watch your mouth. You are not here for a chit chat. Besides, my life is none of your business." I hissed.

"Oops, our Missy got angry." He taunted as I smirked, closing my arms at my chest.

"Exactly, just like you did when you faced dust when Zariah massacred your tower." His amusement faded when I hit his sensitive nerve.

De Villiers told me a few taunts for all of them to shut them up instantly and it worked. Of course he knew everything.

"Now that you are serious, we can get to our actual matter." I said, taking a seat, leaning back.

"Why have you called us? We have nothing to do with Issac and Axel." Theo said bitterly.

"To make an official introduction and make it known who is in charge." I replied normally, turning my attention to Axel.

"Now, tell me, What the hell is your problem, Axel?" I asked seriously.

"My problem is that because of Issac and his damn daughter, that bitch-” The second he called her bitch, De Villiers scowled.

“Don’t you dare to call her that.” We were taken aback when he warned Axel out of the blue.

“You don’t have to defend me needlessly, De Villiers. Also, this voice changer sounds horrible and this mask too. Shut up.” Zariah spoke heartlessly.

Prince told me about her, she was a human killing machine, a robot with no emotions.

“Zari…” He whispered sorrowfully under his breath, narrowing his eyes but moved back, turning his head to the side.

“I apologize for the interruption. Please continue.” De Villiers spoke, looking away.

“You okay?” I whispered to and he nodded coldly.

“Yeah.” I cleared my throat to gain attention and forget what De Villiers just did.

“What were you saying, Axel?”

“I can't work properly. They don’t let me." He growled.

"The boundaries were distributed long ago so you keep in your place and not invade us." Issac sighed.

"I need expansion, you cannot expect me to stay in one place."

"You could also form an alliance like Prince did but you chose to fight. Plus out of all countries, you want Italy?" Issac hissed.

"The problem is I don't want to."
