*Omario POV*
“But….” Brenda tries to object. The witch still wants Abi to serve her, but she does not complete her sentence because dad is suddenly on the couch, crouching in pain.
Mother must be doing the deed. This bond is something else.
“Are you okay dad?” I keep a straight face and feign concern. This is another reason I came here.
He turns to different directions as if trying to find a comfortable spot. His facial expression reflects the pain he is in, with sweat dripping down his brow.
“Nala… fuck!” he curses and winces.
I frown and do my best to keep a straight face. Dad is now holding his chest, then his tummy before getting up and taking a few steps towards the door.
“Take a seat, Dad. I will get the physician.”
“No, take me to Nala.”
I look at him with a confused expression, but he does not explain himself.
“You are not okay, Dad. Please take a seat,”I plead like a concerned son.
Brenda rushes to his side and tugs on his shirt. “Omario is right. Take a seat and let the doctor come to check you,” she urges.
Her pride must be knocked by dad wanting to go to my mom. Serves her right.
“Get away from me!” Dad snaps at Brenda, who shrinks, hurt by his response.
I really want to laugh but I will give myself away. The supposedly invincible steel king is brought to his knees by a dildo.
“Take me to Nala. It’s a command!” he demands and I comply and help him out.
We are walking down the corridor with him leaning on me. He is now drenched with sweat and continuously winces while holding his chest.
“Dad, what is going on?”
“Nala is fucking a dead man.”
“What? Dad…”
“Shut up and hurry up,” he interjects. “I swear I am going to tear the asshole apart! Nala…is…mine…only..mine.” he adds.
It takes everything in me to not burst out in laughter. He is groaning in pain by the time we get to mother’s wing. He holds on to the walls to support himself and heads towards the bedroom.
I take a seat in the lounge and listen in. I can hear mother’s dramatic moans and it’s funny as hell, but it also complicates my life. Oli really believes that I am sleeping with Abi. If she was really my mate, should she not know the truth and be assured when she does not feel the pain dad just went through?
I guess that the mutation can explain the blunted effects, but I can’t explain the pain both Abi and I felt when we fought. I fight with Oli all the time but I have never felt any pain. I did not even know that there was such a thing. That is the main reason I came to consult mom earlier, but she assumed that I was asking about Oli.
“Nala! Are you trying to kill me?”
I can hear my dad yelling while mother’s moans continue. Soon mom is screaming dad’s name and he is screaming hers. I guess the bastard has replaced the dildo. I can’t believe that I am eavesdropping at my parents having sex but I would have never believed any of this if I did not see it with my own eyes and heard them reach their peak like lovers, when they usually can’t stand each other.
I knock at their bedroom door when they are finally quiet. Dad is the one who opens the door with a towel wrapped around his waist.
“Are you okay, Dad?” I ask with a straight face, which is really hard with mom making funny faces in the background.
“I’m fine. Your mom was fucking with me,”he says. “Can you believe that she bought a fucken’ dildo to hurt me?” he adds.
“Dad, please! Too much sharing!”
This man sometimes forgets that I am his son.
“I want that witch out of my castle, Theo or it won’t be dildo you find next time,”mom threatens from the bed. This is the first time I have heard her command my dad. I guess she is not as subdued as I thought.
“Fine. Just get rid of that thing,” dad’s response is really funny. I can’t believe that he agreed so easily. I am convinced that he will change his mind as soon as he sees Brenda again but I am wrong and utterly amazed.
Two hours later, I watch trucks drive in and out to move Brenda and Oli out of the castle. The rest of the servants can’t hide their excitement watching Brenda leave. She is still the Beta and will probably continue making their lives difficult, but they will finally get to rest at the end of the day again when she leaves.
Abi, on the other side is disappointed that Brenda’s dogs are no longer around. I can’t believe this woman!
Loyd calls me the next day to tell me that Oli was really hurt that I did not come to bid her farewell when they moved out. He assures me that she is really ashamed and regretful of her actions, but Titan does not buy it. My stupid wolf is not as understanding with Oli as he is with Abi.
I, on the other side can’t put all the blame on Oli. My choices to protect Abi have placed her in an uncomfortable position and brought the worst of her. I can’t say I would not be acting out if the roles were reversed.
Brenda took a few days off. Apparently, she is really heartbroken and devastated because dad broke up with her. Being the Alpha’s mistress definitely gave her more power than her Beta title. I still can’t believe how fast both she and dad moved on from Sylvester’s death.
One thing for sure is this mate bond thing is both scary and amazing. I can’t say I don’t wish to be that connected to my mate one day. That however, puts me at crossroads.
If Frode is lying, does it mean that everyone he has proclaimed as mates, are not really mates? Is this Nina messing with me?
I have never been this confused in my entire life. The only other person I know who can help me with this is Rufus, but I don’t know if I can trust him not to tell dad about all of this.
Getting Abi out of here will get her safe. Maybe being far from her will clear all this confusion in my head and put things into perspective. With that thought in mind, I go to meet dad and we summon for Terrence.
“Your Highness, Your Majesty,” Terrence bows.
I laugh inside. He never addresses me with my title when we are alone.
“You are to gather all the horses and take them to the Palmland pack,” dad commands.
“Your Highness?”
“They are a gift from us to Alpha C of the Palmland pack,” I quickly explain before dad gets angry with Terrence for questioning him.
“It took a lot of convincing for dad not to order all the horses killed after they attacked them last Friday. It sucks, but it’s the best I deal I could get,” I explain in my head because Terrence is there.
“That makes sense. Thanks,” Terence responds.
He really loves those horses and them, him. I hope that one day I can get them back.
“Yes, Your Highness,”Terrence bows before dad and heads out.
“The Palmland pack has requested that you remain with them for at least a month for their stable boy to get used to the horses,”I shout behind him.
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
Dad laughs. “Evil, I like it!” he beams.
“What is?”
“Getting rid of your Gamma so you can continue fucking his mate. My boy is a genius!”
I can’t believe this man!
I grin at him, I will let him believe that for now.
It takes Terrence just an hour to gather over hundred of our horses and is soon gone.
It’s time for me to implement my next plan…
