Hugo immediately informed Melody Irving and Quincy Irving.
Hugo is currently the hottest young idol under Vanguard Entertainment Corporation, managed by Quincy Irving.
He’s also the male lead in the next movie invested by Stellaris Investments, making his position very important.
If any scandal breaks out at this point, it would be a significant blow to the movie.
So, after Quincy Irving learned about this, he quickly called Miles Grant.
"Hello, is this President Grant? Something big has happened," Quincy Irving said anxiously.
Miles Grant frowned, disliking Quincy Irving’s flustered manner, and asked over the phone:
"Calmly explain what happened, don’t rush."
"Today, when Hugo’s manager and the assistant manager of The Rhythm of the Heart Crew were having lunch at the restaurant, they were recorded by a girl pretending to be a waitress. I asked Hugo’s manager, and he said the girl looked very much like Ian Grant’s wife. I suspect she is Miss Grant. What is her purpose in trying so hard to make a recording? President Grant, Vanguard is under Stellaris, and Hugo will be the male lead in Stellaris Investments’ next movie. If he is ruined, it would greatly affect the box office. President Grant, you need to find a way to get that recording back from Miss Grant."
As Miles Grant listened to Quincy Irving ramble on, he finally understood.
When Hugo’s manager and the show’s crew manager were discussing things, they must have mentioned Hugo and Caleb Holt, and that conversation was recorded.
And the person who recorded could very well be Fiona Grant.
Once Miles Grant figured it out, he couldn’t help but frown, he didn’t hang up the phone, and turned to ask his wife beside him:
"Are you sure Fiona left Aethelgard yesterday?"
Miles Grant’s wife nodded, very sure, saying, "Yes, the driver personally took her to the airport. Her classmate went with her, and I saw her post on her social media this morning, which included a location showing the place she is traveling to. She’s not in Aethelgard, and those photos too."
After hearing this, Miles Grant nodded and then said to the other end of the phone:
"He must have been mistaken. Ian Grant’s daughter is not in Aethelgard these days, she’s traveling, so it’s impossible for her to have made the recording. Find that person no matter the cost, buy the recording if you can. If not, find another way. You all should know how to handle this, right? If I have to deal with everything, then what are the department managers and the PR manager doing?"
After lecturing on the phone, Miles Grant hung up.
Quincy Irving was bewildered by the scolding from Miles Grant, feeling unhappy, he immediately called Hugo’s manager.
"What were you thinking, being careless in both action and words, allowing someone to exploit a flaw, and now trying to blame Miss Grant. Let me tell you, Miss Grant hasn’t been in Aethelgard these days, she’s impossible to be the one who recorded it. Find a way to get that recording, buy it at any cost, or prepare to pack up and leave."
Hugo’s manager was stunned by Quincy Irving’s words, thinking if it wasn’t Miss Grant, why did she look so much like Ian Grant’s wife?
And now, he has to find that recording, but how?
