"Who exactly are you? Why do you look so familiar to me? Have we met somewhere?" Jackson Zane asked, scrutinizing South Grant.
"Just say whether you’re willing or not." He had the chance to find out who he was.
Jackson Zane heard that this young man could offer him a job, a chance to turn things around; how could he refuse?
He nodded immediately, then said to South Grant, "I’m willing, of course I’m willing. Tell me first, which entertainment company are you planning to place me in?"
"Aetherium," South Grant said, uttering two words.
Jackson Zane paused for a moment upon hearing this and then gave South Grant a peculiar look before shaking his head, "Not going."
At this point, South Grant’s lips curled slightly, "Are you afraid that after dealing with Caleb Holt, Caleb and the folks in the company will hold a grudge against you and trip you up?"
Jackson Zane had been helping Hugo Lynch against Caleb Holt all along. Now, being asked to go to Aetherium, he understandably felt uneasy.
Jackson Zane, however, raised his eyebrows, showing a hint of disdain in his gaze.
"Would I be afraid of Caleb Holt tripping me up? When I was making top-tier celebrities famous, Caleb Holt was still messing around in the mud, peeing while playing."
"Then what are you worried about?" South Grant was somewhat confused. Since he wasn’t afraid, why wouldn’t he go to Aetherium?
"The former CEO of Aetherium, although somewhat old-fashioned, managed the company correctly, just had a bit of bad luck. Failed to sign good artists and lacked outstanding agents, leading to a decline in performance. And now the CEO of Aetherium is the third master of The Grant Family, a major shareholder of the Grant Group. I’m aware of some of The Grant Family’s affairs that you might not know about. Miles Grant, the second master of The Grant Family, would definitely not let the third master off easy in the fight for family assets. Aetherium will constantly be suppressed by Stellaris. In fact, Quincy Irving acted against Caleb Holt following Henry Grant’s instructions; otherwise, how could Vanguard and Aetherium, both under The Grant Family, engage in mutual destruction? Under pressure from Stellaris, Aetherium has no way out."
Jackson Zane’s analysis was quite reasonable, reflecting Aetherium’s current situation, where Miles Grant would not let Shawn Grant develop into a competitor.
South Grant then raised his eyebrows, "So you’re afraid Aetherium won’t have its day, hence you won’t dare to go there?"
Jackson Zane shook his head again, waving his hand, adopting the manner of a seasoned veteran, and said to South Grant:
"Being suppressed by Stellaris is no big deal. The reason I’m not going is because now the boss of Aetherium, the third master of The Grant Family, has his head full of shi—instead of working with a boss like that, I’d rather follow Quincy Irving."
South Grant burst into laughter upon hearing Jackson Zane’s words.
Just the fact that Jackson Zane said Shawn Grant’s head was full of shi earned him a lot of favor from South Grant.
This guy has a unique perspective, can even see through what Shawn Grant’s head is filled with—a true talent.
South Grant didn’t tease him any longer, extending his hand at this point, reaching out to Jackson Zane formally introducing himself:
"Hello, I’m South Grant, pleased to meet you, Agent Alden."

Jackson Zane’s tablet dropped to the ground just after he had picked it up, and now he didn’t bother to pick it up, staring at the young man in front of him.
He is South Grant, the future heir of The Grant Family?
Jackson Zane knew South Grant was going to participate in the movie invested by Shawn Grant, though he hadn’t met South Grant, just heard of his reputation.
Reportedly, he’s like a flower pillow stuffed with straw—all looks, no substance, just a useless bag of grass.
He hadn’t expected it to be this sharp-eyed young man before him.
