"Okay, I'm getting scary now," Daniel said when I completed my strength training with him
"Frightening?"
“Yes, if someone makes you angry, you will use your power and make them regret it.” He said to me with a smile
"I didn't use my strength just for necessity."
“Yes, I trust that…… whoever is my brother’s queen companion,” he said, making him laugh
“Then why don’t you like to stay here so much and rather wander around?” I asked him while we were sitting in the garden that for days we have been training in it
"Have you ever heard of that, it makes me feel so free?"
"That's what you make other people think of you, but you're not. You just like to distance yourself from everyone for some reason," I told him, and he looked at me with a hesitant look.
“I just…” He tried to speak but he paused and let out a sigh, although I only knew him a week ago, I already feel that our friendship is stronger, perhaps because we are about the same age.
"It's okay, you can talk later." I told him to smile at me
"I just feel more comfortable when I'm away from everyone, especially my family," he said, looking away from me and looking into the void as if he remembered something painful.
“If you think that being away from your family will make you feel comfortable, then that feeling is an illusion and trying to convince yourself of an illusion is in itself a painful thing,” I told him.
"In the last war.... I was prevented from participating and going out to fight by my father and brother, but I did not hear their words and went out, although I was only in 0 years, but I wanted to help them, and in the meantime, a shadow attacked me and stopped in my place and I watched him take my life without being able to I could do anything but my brother saved me at that time and in trying to get me out of there and in the middle of that war he didn't notice that there was a shadow that started attacking him and ironically my father jumped to protect him and so my father died at that moment " he spoke, lowering his head sadly, it was a new face from him I used to just see him smile and laugh but behind every smile there was pain hidden
I lifted my hand and placed it on his shoulder and gently patted it
Shadows are really a scary thing. They put you under their complete control. You can't even move. Before you do anything, you have already lost your life. After my father fell dead there, my brother lost his ability to control his power to explode. The fire was consuming everything around him. There was damage from our side as well. But no one died because of his strength, but the shadows died most of them and most of them disappeared to escape, and then I knew that I was the cause of my father's death, so I tried to stay away from them and from harming them.
"You're wrong. Your father died because of them. Being away from your family now is the thing that will hurt them more than anything. Guilt is inevitable, but did you know we can live with it by staying with our loved ones and family?" I told him to look at me and smile.
"You're a good sister, I heard you have a little brother."
"Yeah don't remind me of him I feel like he's a mini version of you" I told him let's laugh together
“So are you going?” I asked him because now I finished my strength training and he promised me he would help me train before he went.
"No... my family needs me," he said, smiling
"But that doesn't mean I won't go homeless again, it feels good," he told me, hitting his head. He couldn't stay serious for a few minutes.
"I'm going" I told him as I stood up
" to where ?"
"I'm going to tell Madison that you're going to use her magic and make you can't move." I told him as I ran to run after me.
"Don't do it, I'm not going." I ran faster and faster as I came out of the garden to hit a wall, but before I fell, his hand wrapped around my waist, always hitting that handsome wall, and he always grabbed me.
"Don't run like that without seeing you're going to fall," said Kayden, scolding me like a little girl
"Sorry" I told him as I moved away a little from him standing next to him looking at Daniel
“You have an ungrateful companion,” Daniel told Caden
"You mean I have a ungrateful brother, I helped you keep my mother away from you," Kayden replied, smiling triumphantly.
"Alpha, Luna, we should go because Grace has seen something and is asking for our presence," said Mr. Mark, standing in front of us for us to follow. We went into the library to find Grace sitting with Logan next to her.
"What's the matter, what did you see?" Salha Kayden
“The time has been set,” she replied
" when ?"
“Two weeks from now,” she answered, and let everyone fall into deadly silence. I feel nervous because everyone is, because they have lived this before, because they have lost their loved ones, because they know this suffering, so they are nervous
"We have time to get ready," said Mr. Mark, to break our silence
"How about telling the people of the kingdom?" Logan asked while looking at Kayden
"We're not going to tell anyone, Grace, have you seen where it's going to happen?"
"Yes, it's on the north side, near the arid lands," he replied
"We won't tell people. In this war, we'll just go warriors."
And the rest of the creatures? Daniel asked
“I will see about it, if there is someone strong among them who wants to participate, but I will not force anyone to do so,” replied Kayden, to feel how afraid he was for the creatures of his kingdom.
"We will be at the fore. We will try to stop them as hard as we can, but before that we must find out who is transforming individuals internally in this period," Kayden told them.
"Yes, if we find someone who does that, we can get rid of them and so we can go to war without worrying about the inside." Logan said, "Let's fall in silence again, everyone is thinking of something."
"It's okay" He sent me to smile softly at him
"Okay, worried faces, let's calm you down with a nice dinner. Come on, it's ready." Madison's voice shouted around the room. Let's look at her and find her putting that warm smile on her, as if she was telling us it's okay, everything will be fine, even though she is the most person here who has lived wars and lost a lot, but she still stands in everything. Glory and strength I hope to be strong in the future.
After we finished our dinner we sat in the living room and everyone started talking about how to train the warriors and train them to fight the shadows, and how to use magic as a distraction against them and I was just listening. Suddenly I asked what if the shadows overpowered us?? What will be the consequences??
"Our entire kingdom will be under their control. The sun will never rise again in our kingdom. There will be no life here and neither will we} .
"I'm sorry it's just a question" I sent him to smile at me
" Know " He answered me, putting his hand around my waist and bringing me closer to him while we were sitting on the sofa.
“But… shouldn’t we figure out a way to combine your strength and use it against them?” asked Daniel0
" How ?"I asked him
“I also don’t know, but you know the legend, the king has the power of fire and the queen the power of light, and these two will completely eliminate the shadows.”
"True, but we don't know if the legend means that both powers should be combined." Mr. Mark, beckoning him
" You are right " he replied
“But what is the weak point of the shadows?” I asked them
The weak point of any living thing. Mr. Mark answered me
"So their heart?"I said
"Yes, and there is also the light, because they never go out in the daylight. We have never fought them in the day, everything was night." Logan answered me .

“Then if we want to get rid of one of the shadows we must attack his healthy heart…” I paused to speak, opening my eyes in shock when I felt lips above my name exactly, what is that?? Kaiden suddenly accepts my name in front of everyone
