Loving Little Miss Bloodsucker Chapter 11

I’m still mad with the thought that he's out there enjoying his life in some country that his people don’t mention—they are afraid that I might follow him. His people are in our garage doing something to kill their boredom while I’m here in my grandparent’s library trying to read some anecdotes and short stories to calm my mind. I lock the door to let them know that I don't want to be disturbed by anyone, even my parents, who already tried to knock like an hour ago.

They already found out what’s going on with me, and they seemed so pissed off with my attitude that they even shouted at me earlier, saying I'm such a brat or whatever.

I closed my eyes when another knock on the door disturbed me. I should have known that if I stayed inside, they would continue to bug me like hell.

I tried to ignore it once more and just continue to read. I even moved away and sat down on the farthest couch from the door, and if they tried to destroy the door to get me, I'll just pretend that I'm sleeping the whole time. I read another chapter of a romance novel that I used to love when I was a teenager. It was almost nine o'clock in the evening when they finally stopped banging on the door. I sighed in relief and just rested my head on the coffee table while half of my body was resting on the couch. I put the book I'm reading in my head to cover my face and just take a nap for a moment since I'm still mad at what happened a while ago.

He shouldn't have dumped me like that, knowing that he told me that he'd pick me up. I thought he was a man of his words, but he just proved to me that he's just another jerk.

I slept for an hour, and when I checked my watch, it was already ten o'clock. I'm having second thoughts about whether I'll open the door already because maybe my parents are waiting outside and it'll just get messy if that happens. Well, they'll get me anyway, so I might as well just make my way outside.

I deeply sighed, and I was just about to hold the doorknob when it suddenly opened. I was in awe when I saw Cooper in front of me. He's still in his corporate attire, and his hair is a bit messy. His eyes looked so tired yet a little bit mad as I saw how his fist clenched.

"What are you doing here?" I asked before I made my way out of the room past him. He followed me from behind, saying nothing.

We were already in the middle of the staircase when I stopped walking. I just crossed my arms as I looked behind me, but his expression is already as cold as ice, and I can't even imagine what's going on in his mind. Assuming I might get scolded like a kid again when we got home, I walked back upstairs to enter our library again, but he grabbed my wrist.

"Let's go home," he calmly uttered.

I just scoffed and told him to get off my hand.

"I don't want to fight with you right now," he said like a warning, but I continued to walk back to the library.

I'm about to close the door, but he stopped it and let himself enter the room. I shrugged my shoulders and got back to my position on the couch earlier, while he's just leaning on the wall with his arms crossed in his chest and eyes closed, like he's thinking about something or just resting for a bit before he deals with me.

I remained silent the whole time, and all I did was read the story I was reading a while ago. My lips pursed when I noticed that he was making his way to get a chair and sit beside me. He then closed his eyes again. I'm just observing every move he makes the whole time we're in the library. His face is still left with no expression at all. I'm getting a little bored, so I stood up and went to the book shelves to look for another story to read since the current one is getting cringy.

While I'm silently looking for a book, I notice that he's not in his chair anymore, and when I tried to look for him, he was already lying in the sofa bed attached to one of the huge windows here. I walked towards him, and I almost cussed as I saw how peaceful he is while he's sleeping. It's like he's not a werewolf after all; he just looked like a normal human being.

"What in blazes are you thinking?" I just abruptly expressed it while checking him out.

I can't resist the urge to ponder what's happening in his psyche. I thought he was out of the nation, doing a business of some sort or another, and I'm almost certain that it's a significant matter, and I just clearly got close to home and youthful prior over the call, but what is he doing here in any case?

I just sat next to him for some time as I began to peruse once more, however I solidified when I felt areas of strength for him embracing my midriff while his eyes were as yet shut. He seemed to be folded paper presently, covering my body sideways.

"You let me know that I ought to get back home," he abruptly started talking.

"So I did."

I laughed a little in view of what he said.

"Dislike my words are orders to you," I mockingly replied.

"Yet, it is, to me," he said as he fixed his embrace on my midsection.

I attempted to conceal my face behind the book I was perusing. Goodness, he and his words are the ideal mix for making a lady go completely gaga for him, however not so much for me. He ought to realize that despite the fact that he's embracing me tight the present moment, I'm as yet not and never will be suffocated by his words.

"How about we get back home," I said to change the subject.

He released his warm embrace on my abdomen and sat up directly to check me out. I glanced back at him with a similar force he had while gazing at my face.

"You can't feel it, aren't you?" I frustratedly inquired.

"I don't have an inclination," I quickly said before I rose up to leave the room. It's out of nowhere become stodgy inside, and I didn't understand that I nearly didn't inhale due to what occurred there.

What's going on with him?

I can't feel anything about what? He's giving me signs that I couldn't care less about. On the off chance that he's attempting to draw me, it will be hard for him since I would rather not be subdued like a creature trapped in the wild timberland.

On account of the situation, I left the chateau from the secondary passage down to the carport, where I can in any case see Cooper's men sitting tight in the limo for us, I presume. I opened the entryway and got inside before I took a full breath. I advised his men to reach him as of now and that I needed to return home.

My arrangement to disturb him today wasn't a triumph, however I actually trust I can make it up for later. I'm still busy planning things for our wedding, and I'm almost certain there are additional fascinating things to get him irritated about.

I awakened so woozy from absence of rest the previous evening. Since I got infused by Luke recently with some kind of one more counteractant that I don't know about, I've begun to get worn out effectively, similar to what an ordinary human feels more often than not. My internal heat level is likewise warm, and the shade of my skin is sufficiently reasonable to make me seem to be a young lady.

Yet again I yawned when I felt lethargic once more, so I just remained in bed the entire morning. I got missed calls and messages from my cousin saying I ought to plan for the menu today, however I just disregarded every last bit of it and driven the timetable into the evening.

My head felt so weighty, similar to I was squandered, when I heard my entryway open. I'm still drowsy, and my eyes are simply half open. I attempted to take a gander at him, however I felt truly worn out.

"What's going on?"

All I could hear was that inquiry before an unexpected shivering sensation in my mind got me, and I just felt a burning torment all around my body. How did Luke respond this time?

I shouted as a result of the aggravation, and I felt my little hooks reawaken. I additionally felt my eyes becoming red, however what's preventing me from getting fierce is major areas of strength for the that is embracing my entire dainty body.

"I… can't… inhale," I'm nearly wheezing for air when I hear somebody approaching the telephone.

"Adriana, keep your eyes open," I heard Cooper murmur.

Also, I did.

I'm actually panting for air when I hear the entryway opening once more and Cooper relinquishing me to rests once more. Luke's face showed up, and the following thing I felt was the needle. I quickly got powerless, and my head just felt so light this time. My body can't move, yet I can in any case hear them discussing what is happening.

"Beneficial thing, I'm not far off," Luke said as a consolation.

"What befell her?" Cooper inquired.

"Her body is simply in shock as a result of the weighty portion I gave her yesterday. It's simply a not unexpected response of her body, and in view of how she responded, I'll return her once again to the standard portion I give her."

What a piece of sh*t! Luke just in a real sense made me like a guinea pig of his. Beneficial thing my body is as yet not working great, since, supposing that it does, I'll kill him right now.

"She'll lash out about what you did, I think," Cooper said.

Obviously, I'm enraged.

"I'll deal with it assuming that works out," Luke said, yet I can obviously hear his anxious chuckle. He'll pay for it sometime later.

For the beyond couple of hours, I remained lying on my bed. I'm as yet frail, however when I figured out how to get up and sit on my bed, I attempted to stand up and escape my room. My minuscule winged serpents in my stomach are somewhat eager since I haven't had anything to eat since the previous evening.

I'm holding my stomach while I'm strolling down to the kitchen when I see Cooper cooking something. His expansive back is confronting me, however I realize he actually sees that I'm behind him.

"I'm starting to feel that you could need your morning meal in bed," he expressed, attempting to have a discussion with me.

I stayed peaceful and just gestured when he took a look at me.

"Are you okay now?" He asked cautiously.

"I surmise so," I presently answered.

I searched for something in the refrigerator and just took out a gallon of milk. I took a seat at the counter before I straightforwardly drank from the container. He saw what occurred, and did I simply see him grin?

I'm watching each move he makes until he serves the toast, eggs, and bacon that he cooked. There are likewise flapjacks on the other plate, and my mouth abruptly gets watery due to the incredible smell of them.

"You need to dive in before we can discuss our wedding," he said, which made me feign exacerbation in a split second.

However much as could reasonably be expected, I would rather not ruin my temperament significantly more since I'm as of now irritated at how my sibling treated me, and now that he's enlightening me regarding the wedding once more, I'll simply lose my last line of tolerance for this set up.

I said nothing and recently ate. I'm actually sitting at the counter while he's sitting in the high seat adjacent to the counter. He's before me while I'm eating the food he arranged relentless.

I just became cognizant when I saw that he was gazing at me the entire time I was eating.

"You're causing me to feel awkward," I obtusely said before I took a cut from the hotcake.

"I'll simply get the leaflets that your mom sent us some time back," he said to move away from me.

I get down from the counter while he's as of now in the parlor. I just plunked down next to him when I saw heaps of portfolios dissipated on the foot stool. I bet my mother was truly anticipating an extraordinary wedding to occur, yet sadly, I can't give that to her. I simply don't have any desire to see them so happy with the choice they made for me, and I will make this thing excessively awful for them to lament that they picked me to get this game plan going.

Cooper offered me a ton of dresses for the wedding, however what got my attention the most was the beige off-shoulder dress that had a definite weaving of little pearls in the chest part, and the shoulder was nearly covered with a quill like plan. The lower some portion of the dress resembled a ball outfit with loads of unsettles, and I realized it would be superb in the event that I wore it.

I pointed at it, and when Cooper flipped it, the rear of the image was one more picture intended for a men's outfit. They are two by two, and I guess that each dress here right presently additionally has one. The plan for the lucky man's outfit has similar materials utilized for the dress. There are pearls, plumes, and unsettles all around the coat. It's very straightforward, yet to me, it shouts tastefulness and power.

"Do you need this?" he inquired.

"I love it," I basically said.

"It appears as though you're viewing this entire readiness in a serious way," he said as he endorsed at the highest point of that image, perhaps suggesting that we had proactively picked that plan.

"I'm wanting to make it a terrible one," I said directly.

"How about we see to that," he said, seeming like he was trying me.

I was all the while eating my food while perusing a few themes and plans when the phone rang. Cooper responded to it, and as I'm watching him intently, his eyes obscured and his temperament moved like something awful occurred. His jaw gripped as well as his clench hand.

Moments later, I heard a loud sigh from him upon ending the call. He didn't say anything, and he's just trying to contain himself from bursting out in front of me. I smirked when a sudden thought came through my head.

What if I annoyed him even more?

I looked at him for a second before I intentionally pushed the water I brought and let it spill on his side. As he became preoccupied, he got startled by the sudden cold caused by the water. I laughed a little and bit my lips when she looked at me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," I apologized.

He just let out a deep breath and continued to stay focused on our wedding preparations again. Just to tease him again, I started to eat so messy up to the point that crumbles of bread and crackers were scattered on the carpet.

He noticed it, and he just let it pass this time. I rolled my eyes because of his response, and since I don't seem to be focused on what we're doing, I just simply asked what happened about the call.

"Who called you?" I acted like an innocent child.

"It's none of your business," he said coldly.

"I'm going to be your wife, and I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to know everything about what's happening," I reasoned.

"It's just a minor problem with the pact," he said frustratingly.

"What kind of minor problem?" I asked even more.

"Can we please not talk about it anymore?" He asked me using his soft voice.

At first, I was taken aback by the tone of his voice. It sounded like he didn't really want to talk about it. Well, my plan was to either annoy him for the rest of his life or just kill him. I don't want to kill him yet, so I'll just annoy him in the meantime.

I stopped teasing him for a moment, and when I noticed that he was starting to loosen up again, I noticed him even more because of my bad manners while eating. He's just taking it, and now I'm the one who's getting annoyed by his being unbothered.

Does he seriously want to have me as his wife up to the point that he'll just let me do my thing even though I'm fucking annoying?

Is he serious about this?

I just don't get it.

I'm done eating the last piece of my pancake, and when I got up to go to the kitchen, I dropped the plate, and now I'm already bleeding because of what I did to myself. I instantly sensed him behind my back, and when he made me face him, all I could see was anger in his eyes. That's it. Get angry at me.

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked out of frustration.

I just smirked at him.

He looked at my face to see if I had a cut, and he just cussed out when he saw cuts on my right foot. I was horrified when he grabbed my waist and made me sit on the countertop. He swept away all the broken pieces of plates before he got the first aid kit for my cut.

"It'll just heal eventually; I'm a vampire for Pete's sake," I complained.

"Stop making a fuss about the whole damn thing," he said like an order.

I got annoyed and kicked him gently to move my foot away from him, but his reflexes are so quick like mine that he instantly caught it.

"What are you trying to do anyway?" He confusedly asked.

"Who called you anyway?" I asked him back.

"I already said it," he answered.

"That's not the answer I want to hear from you," I fire away.

"Then what do you want?" He asked as he finally looked at me.

"Just tell me who called—"

I was interrupted by his sudden kiss. My lips parted, like I wanted more.

"Ask that goddamn question again, and I might just kiss you again and again."
