Bella stood in front of J. Nikolai Textile Ltd.
It was a very big company just as Brittany had told her. This is just one of Nikolai Klaus's many companies and this one deals with textiles, he has several other companies that produce different products, she even heard he had one that produces skincare products and was also the owner of the biggest shopping mall in the country.
The mysterious Nikolai Klaus whom many people have not seen, his mysteriousness is what intrigues her, and she finds herself wishing to run into him someday.
She was directed to go to the HR office with her profile, she badly needed this job and really hopes she gets it. Since the shooting event, there haven't been any more attacks on her and she had been too shaken to leave the house in search of a job or anything and her husband has mostly been absent from home. She felt a dampening in her mood just thinking of how he had coldly shunned her on the day of the shoot-out like she goes about looking for who to shoot at her. Hence, she had decided to do things on her own and not get him involved in any way, after all, he had said before that their marriage was just on paper. So, today, she had put aside her fear and continued her search for a job.
"You can go inside the HR office ma'am," the HR secretary told her and Bella quickly cleaned her sweaty palms in her clothes, knocking once on the door, she walked in.
"Welcome to J.Nikolai Textiles Ltd, can I see your profile please?" The HR told her while pointing at a seat for her to sit down. Bella nervously gave her resume and sat down nervously as the HR went through her profile.
"Do you know anything about clothing or fashion?"
Bella licked her dry lips, why she considered herself as someone who could dress well, but that's about it, "to be honest sir, although, I consider myself as someone who has a good fashion sense but I know little about clothing and textile sir but I'm a very fast learner and in a short while, I believe that I can learn everything that I need"
"Hmmmm..... it says here in your resume` that you didn't finish college, may I know why?"
Bella fidgeted in her seat, how would she tell him that she dropped out of college all because of a scandal her ex made about her?
The HR manager raised his brow in question, "Could it be that you did something really bad and you were kicked off? This company will not entertain anyone with a scandalous past"
"No, Sir, I...I... didn't do anything.... actually...it was because my parents died and my aunt could no longer afford my college fees but I promise to go back and get my degree as soon as I'm able to raise money"
The HR manager stared at her for a moment as he played with his beard a little bit, Bella felt that he was about to turn her down and she put her palms together in a pleading gesture
"Please Sir, I am a very fast learner and a hard worker, you can put me on probation just to see that I'm telling you the truth and I assure you that you won't be disappointed but please, don't turn me down, I desperately need this job"
The manager sighed, "Oh well, we'll see about that. I'll assign you to someone who'll teach you what you need to know"
Bella's heart thudded with joy as she thanked the HR manager, "Don't thank me yet, your performance is what will keep you in the job"
He punched a button on his table and his secretary came in, "please take this lady to Ollie and Keisha's office, she'll learn under them"
Bella thanked the HR manager and quickly followed the secretary but the name the manager had called kept giving her a nagging feeling.

"Hello, I'm Bella," she told the secretary hoping to get a little bit of information from her about Ollie and Keisha
"I'm Mandy"
"Have you been here for long?"
"Why do you ask?" The secretary replied, still walking swiftly
"This Ollie and Keisha that you're taking me to? I'm to learn from them and do anything that they want me to do right?"
"That's right, but while both of them are using the same office, you're answerable to Keisha and if she writes a bad report about you, you might end up losing your job. Just see her as your direct boss for now".
Bella swallowed as they stopped in front of a massive office, the secretary knocked once and opened the door, they both went inside and Bella was astonished at how massive the office was, it could contain six more people with a lot of space still remaining and just two people are using it?
"Hello Ollie, where's Keisha, I brought someone for her to train, she's a new employee"
Bella looked at Ollie and frowned, he looked so familiar and at the same time, Ollie's eyes widened in surprise, "Isabella? Is that you?"
Recognition finally sets in, Ollie was Bella's high school crush, she had so crushed on him then that the whole school knows about it but he had only had eyes for Keisha.....hold a second, Keisha....her new boss? Damn it? Why must she meet them both here and to make matters worse, work with them in the same office?
"I see you both know each other, I'll leave you then," the secretary said and left.
"Isa, it's so good to see you," Ollie said and hugged her tight. He is the only one in this world who calls her Isa.
"What's going on here?" A lady's voice sounded behind her and she stiffened, that must be Keisha, she broke away from Ollie's hug and slowly turned to face Keisha
"Hello Keisha"
"Isabella? What are you doing here?"
"She is a new employee and she will work under you," Ollie said and patted her back before going to his seat
"I see....so, you were still keeping tabs on Ollie and decided to follow him to his workplace?"
"No, Keisha, why would you think that? I didn't even know that both of you worked here"
"The hell you don't" Keisha replied and walked to her seat, "your table will be set outside this office and you'll do whatever I say or else, I'll kick you out of this company"
Bella nodded but didn't say anything
"Hey Bella, how about we grab something after work today, I mean, for old time sake"
Bella couldn't help but notice the daggers in Keisha's eyes as she stared at her,
"I... I'm sorry Ollie, but..."
"Don't say no, please? It's been ages since we last saw"
"Why don't you and Keisha just go out...I don't think that I want to"
"Keisha? Keisha and I are good friends and we see each other everyday"
"Still... I'm sorry Ollie but I'm married now and I have plans with my husband later" she lied and saw the surprised look on his face... surprise and disappointment he tried to hide
"Oh, so you're married.... alright then, maybe someday we could still go out as friends"
Bella forced a smile, "maybe"
"You're not here to chitchat, are you?" Keisha asked angrily, "Why don't you go to your desk over there, I can see that it's ready now. I'll call you when I need you"
Bella nodded and quickly went outside the office, a small desk had been arranged for her, and quietly she sat down. Working with Keisha won't be easy at all.

Daniel stepped into the moon house, these past weeks, he had been so busy with what he had to do that he hardly went home. He had to find the other two people who are co-shareholders in his father's company, he had to get those shares and now, his men have succeeded in getting those people and they're now in the moon house waiting for him.
Franklin Howard and Mark Walker both had the biggest shares after his father. Franklin in Jenny's Fabrics which his father has changed the name to J&C Corporation. And Mark owns the biggest share after his father in Calvin's family business and tonight, both shares will be in his name.
"Hello gentlemen, I believe my men have treated you well," he said as he got inside, he had ordered that they should be served some food and not treated as their regular abductees. He is here as Daniel Calvin and not Nikolai Klaus.
"None of you has bothered to have your drinks nor taste your meal? Don't you like it?"
"Tell us what you want Mr Calvin"
"I want you both to eat your food and be merry, you have every reason to celebrate"
"And what should we be celebrating with you Daniel Calvin" Mark clenched out and Daniel stretched out his hand and a picture was placed in his palm.
"We should be celebrating to this" he replied and placed a picture in front of Mark
"That's a picture of my wife and kid, what is it doing with you?" Mark asked fiercely as he stood up, two of Daniel's men quickly stepped forward but Daniel waved them back to their positions
"We should be celebrating that they are still alive. They're not home right now, they went to have a good time in a movie but whether they'll return back home alive is up to you"
"What do you want?" Mark gritted out and Daniel simply waved him back to his seat
"I want you to sign this, giving me all your shares in Calvin's family business. The shares belong to me anyways because you are not part of the family and shouldn't be having shares in the family business"
"I won't do that, I won't sign a thing, even if I die"
"Of course, you won't die but your family will and you will still have to sign it whether they die or not because you are not leaving here without signing these papers"
"You are cruel" Mark clenched out and Daniel's eyes grew frosty
"The one who is cruel is the one who is living with the wealth of someone he murdered in cold blood and those who supported him"
"Since you're in no mood to sign, I might as well do as I plan" Bringing out his cell phone, he dialed a number
"Hello, is Mrs Mark still at the cinema?"
"Alright, I'll sign it" Mark shouted and Daniel smirked as he put the phone away.
Daniel watched as Mark signed it, giving him all the thirty percent shares he had in the company.
"What are you going to blackmail me with?" Franklin asked after watching what had just transpired
"I know about the son you have outside your marriage, does your wife know about it? How cruel of you to betray her that way when she only loves you and gives you everything. She picked you from the slum and polished you but your lustful character could not get polished"
Franklin paled at the news, "How do you know that?"
"There's no secret hidden under the sun, what do you think? Should I inform her of your infidelity? I wonder what she'll do, probably kick you back to the slum that you belong to"
"Please, do not tell her, I'm begging you" Franklin was shivering and sweat beaded his forehead and upper lips
"You know what to do for my silence" Daniel silently pushed the document to him and he quickly signed it.
"Very well, gentlemen, it's nice doing business with you both," he said and stood up to leave.
"One more thing, if any of you tell Nicholas Calvin about who bought your shares, I'll reconsider carrying out my threats. I have ears everywhere and the person you might even be confiding in could be my ally so watch it that this arrangement stays between us. Thank you once again"
Someone picked up his suitcase and followed him out of the moon house, he stopped beside Marcus for a moment
"You know what to do so that they won't have a clue about their location" Marcus nodded once and Daniel stepped out and got into his car as his suitcase was handed back to him.
"I now own a share in your company Mom", he said silently as he drove off, "I promise that I won't let your death go unpunished, after retrieving all that belongs to you, I'll punish your murderers with the worst death possible, I swear this on your memory mother. I love you mum".
One thing he knows is that he will make sure that his mother's murderers pay for their crimes, no matter who they are. His revenge must be carried out and none can stop it.
