"Oh my God! Oh my God!! Oh my God!!!" Bella kept chanting as she ran around a bit confused at what to do. How could he just faint like that? Was he sick? She ran back towards him and pumped his chest with her fingers, "Daniel, wake up" she begged and kept pressing his chest.
What should she do? She had seen it in movies where after pressing his chest, she would blow air into his mouth, she would try that to see if it would work
"Daniel please" she begged once more as she prepared to blow air into his mouth. Gently, she pressed his jaw to open his mouth and gently placed her mouth on his but to her shock, she felt his tongue slide into her mouth and he kissed her. She snatched her mouth from his as if it burned, "you were pretending all along?" She asked furiously and Daniel lazily stood up
"Did you think that such a small fall could make me faint? Let alone kill me"
"Don't you dare do that to me again" she hissed and turned to leave but he grabbed her hand and drew her back
"Were you truly worried about me?" He asked so close to her ears, his breath fanned her neck and she suppressed a shiver
Her heart fluttered at the close proximity, "it's the basic thing to do, isn't it?" She replied and shifted a bit to put a space between them.
"What exactly is your job description in the office?"
Daniel frowned at her swift change of topic and he became guarded, "Why did you ask?"
"I mean you are still at home by this time, don't you have work to do in the office"
"Oh, I'm working already... I'm just an errand boy and consultant for my boss. I don't necessarily need to be in the office, he can just send me to wherever he wants me to go and I'll give him feedback"
"Was that why you were in his office yesterday?" She asked curiously, not completely understanding his exact job.
"Yeah, I went to give him a file he has requested. And don't look at me like that, such matters are confidential but just take it that when I'm needed I'll be consulted and that's it"
"Hmmm, good for you then. I have to go or Keisha will through a fit"
"Keisha?" Daniel asked in an offhanded tone
"Yeah, she's the person who was supposed to show me what to do in the company but unfortunately, she's a pain in the ass, she hasn't taught me a thing since I got there and won't even allow me to go to the textile factory with her"
"How awful"
"Yeah and between the both of us, even though I knew her way back, right now, she's my least favorite person and I wish that she wasn't my superior. She's being unnecessarily mean to me"
"So you knew her before huh?"
"Yeah, she and Ollie attended the same high school back in my town but they moved to the city before we could even graduate"
"And was she the one that slapped you?" He asked in a tight voice and stared at him for a moment and frowned
"Now, don't you go running your mouth, I don't want more trouble. Besides, I told you that I hit my face on a door" Daniel moved closer to her but she avoided him and moved backward, "I'm sorry, I have to go. See you later" She went out of the house with just a wave of her hand.
Daniel remained deep in thought as he watched her leave, he brought out his phone and dialed Aaron's, " I want to see the file of Keisha, mail it to me right away and what have you found concerning the information I asked of you yesterday, how did those marks get to her face?"
"One of the staff, Keisha Mac, was caught on the CCTV footage. She slapped the missus"
Daniel gritted his teeth at what he had just heard and his blood boiled in anger, "make sure you give her a suitable punishment and put her in the least position that exists in the company"
"Yes boss"
Daniel snapped his phone shut, he would have gone to the office himself and put that lady in her place but that would mean giving too much of himself away. He trusts Aaron to act well on his behalf".
His phone suddenly beeped and he snapped it open, "Boss, we have a lead on where the pen drive you've been looking for could be. What would you order us to do?"
The message was from Marcus and Daniel's heart thundered at the possibility of having that drive. That alone has information that would sink his father and give everything that belongs to his mother back to him.
"Stay put and don't act otherwise, text me the address and I'll be on my way" he replied with a text, for Marcus to text him was a signal that he couldn't talk where he was and Daniel understood and replied back with a text. Soon an address was texted to him and Daniel dialed Oliver, his driver's number
"Come and get me ASAP, we're going out" he ended the call and went to his room, opening his wardrobe, he pressed a button and the wardrobe gave way like a door, revealing a secret room. Daniel quietly entered the secret room where he kept all his weapons, he had different types and sizes of guns in there.
He quickly picked up a revolver and AK-47 from his gun rack, taking his ski mask, black gloves, and hanging ropes for climbing walls; he knew he was set for business.

Bella entered into Aaron's office when he sent for her, she had thought he had called her because of her college tuition but was shocked to see Keisha there, her eyes were puffy as if she had been crying and she stared at her in a kind of way when she entered.
"This company is built on honesty, transparency, and respect for one another" he started to say as soon as she got in, "that's why in all the questions that I want to ask you now, I need honest answers"
Bella nodded as she stared from Aaron to Keisha, "has Keisha been a good coach so far? What have you learned from her?"
Bella was dumbfounded by the question, in all honesty, she hadn't learned a thing from Keisha, the only thing she had done was serve lunch to other staff.
So she shook her head, although, she didn't want to say bad things about Keisha to the boss, she was afraid that she would get into bigger trouble if she lied about how she really felt, "n..not much Sir"
"How did you get that mark on your face?"
Bella swallowed at his question, should she tell him that Keisha had hit her? Damn, this is such a difficult decision to make. Should she lie? Perhaps, Keisha would go easy on her out of gratitude if she covered for her but what if the boss found out, she wouldn't be pleased that she lied. She decided to opt for the truth. "I got hit by someone"
Aaron's expression didn't change, he just observed her, "Who hit you?" He asked softly and Bella glanced at Keisha. Keisha shook her head at Bella, a gesture Bella understood well, she didn't want Bella to tell on her.
"Mrs Calvin?" Aaron called and Bella turned to see him staring at her. Of course, she is the "Mrs. Calvin" she wasn't used to being addressed in such a way.
Bella swallowed, "I...she did" she replied pointing at Keisha.
"I already knew she did, her action was caught on CCTV, I know that it was difficult for you to tell your colleague and that shows cooperation and team spirit but telling me the truth shows you are honest and I can count on your honesty....in case of anything"
Bella heaved and nodded, she wondered what decision would be taken against Keisha but she hoped she wouldn't get fired. She doesn't want to be the reason why Keisha is fired.
"You'll be assigned someone that'll put you through and Keisha will be taken to the cafeteria, she will serve the workers until further notice
"What!" Keisha couldn't keep the hurt and anger out of her voice, how demeaning is it to be the one getting morning tea and also lunch for the workers, "but Sir, we have people doing that"
"You knew we had people in charge of that yet you choose to make her do it" Aaron replied and Keisha snapped her mouth shut, she was seething inside, perhaps, the slut managed to catch his eyes and that's why he is on her side, "shameless harlot" she cursed inside of her and glared at Bella
"If you're not okay with it then you are free to resign, the company has policies that you deliberately went against and you don't think that you can just get away with it, do you? So what should it be? Are you accepting your punishment or are you resigning?"
Keisha's heart thudded in her chest, she wasn't ready to lose her job just yet especially not for this slut standing here, leaving will only mean giving her a free chance with Ollie but if she stays and work in the cafeteria, at least she'll still get paid and she'll be able to keep eyes on Ollie and when her position is re-installed, she'll make sure that Bella leaves this company.
"I'll do as you say" she replied and Aaron nodded and dismissed her.
There's something going on between the boss and this lady, even when she claims that she's married, she still sleeps about because that is the only explanation for why the boss will handle such trivial matters himself. She'll seek out Bella's husband and inform him of just what his wife has been doing in the company. Sleeping around with the boss.

"How could you do this to me, Jeremy? I saw my nude online, I feel so embarrassed that I can't even move freely on the street anymore"
Jeremy stared at his new girl who was bawling like a kid, they were all just so stupid and trusting and he didn't feel pity for them at all, after all, he was making his money
"Stop whining already Steph, my ears hurt"
"Is that all you could say? She cried, staring at the man she had once loved, she couldn't believe that she had fallen for his sweet words
"What do you want me to say?" Jeremy asked, his tone was filled with irritation
"So you want the world to view the nakedness of your wife?"
Jeremy was taken aback at her use of the word, 'wife' and he glared at her, "What do you mean by the wife because as far as I'm concerned, I'm not married"
"You'll have to get married to be because I'm pregnant and I'm not ready to raise this child on my own"
Jeremy couldn't believe what he had just heard, this damn witch wants to ruin his life, his blood boiled in anger and he grabbed her by the throat, "You evil witch that child is not mine, you just want to get even with me for posting your nudes"
"Let me go" she struggled against him, trying to free herself, "of course it's yours, I wouldn't lie to you about something like that"
"You fool!" Jeremy yelled and pushed her away from him in anger, she hit her head on the wall with a thud and fell on the floor, unconscious.
Jeremy stepped closer and felt for a pulse but found none, he checked her breath but found none either, "oh my God, I killed her" he whispered frantically and started shaking her vigorously, "Steph, open your eyes" he whispered, a bit scared, if anyone finds out about this then he's doomed
He gazed around for where to hide the body, he would get rid of it when it was dark and no one would know about this. He'll have to change location, to a place where no one knows him.
