Bella was late for lecture, damn, she had to get into the lecture hall before the lecturer did. She wasn't able to escape the heavy traffic today, she was panting as she rushed towards her lecture hall, she bumped into some people on her way and mumbled sorry but didn't stop to even stare at their faces.
"What the hell" someone screamed but she didn't pay much attention, she was almost there and from where she was, she could see the lecturer already headed towards the class
"I'm so sorry" she mumbled but a leg shot out and she tripped, she fell face down
"How dare you try to run off after falling my things on the ground" a voice mumbled and a hand fisted on her hair, the voice sounded so damn familiar, no doubt, she had heard that voice somewhere
"JoJo, she's not worth it, don't dirty your hands over her," someone said and Bella's eyes widened, did she just hear Jojo? The same Jojo that Brittany had warned her about? The school barbie
"Oh no, she groaned and turned to face Jojo, she got another shock of her life
"Joana!" She mumbled and saw recognition flare in Joana's eyes also
"Look who we have here," she said and stood up, dusting her hands as if removing dirt from them
"Wait, do you two know each other?" One of the girls flocking around Joana asked as she stared from Joana to her
"Not really, I only happen to witness her marriage to a broke-ass jerk" Joana's tone held mockery and everyone standing there chuckled
"Wait, she's married? Who does that in this twenty-first century? Marrying so young and then attending college as a married woman...ew" another of Joana's friends says and making a disgusting sound
"There is nothing wrong with attending college as a married lady" Bella mumbled as she picked up Joana's books that she had fallen down and handed them over to her, "Besides, you were the one that was supposed to get married on that day"
Joana glared at her, "But I didn't but instead you did. Tell me, are you regretting it? How did you manage to get the tuition fees to be in this prestigious college? You must be one of those freeloaders who depend on scholarship to pull through"
"Think whatever but I have to go, I don't want trouble"
One of Joana's friends came forward and held Bella's jaw, "Look, even if you are married you don't talk to Jojo like that, who do you think you are?"
"Let go of me" Bella replied and pushed off the hand holding her jaw
"I know exactly where people like you deserve to be, that way, you know not to talk to me disrespectfully, in this college, I am the Barbie and I rule" Joana clenched out and grabbed Bella by her hair, she checked around to make sure that no lecturer is coming and pulled Bella's hair while her friends held on to her hands, keeping her from fighting back
"Hello dear, who is disturbing my Barbie" a male voice sounded and Bella saw Big Sam coming their way, his expression turned mean when he saw Bella as his mind went to when she had dared to raise her hand on him
"Just taking care of a nobody who thinks she's the big shot of this school" Joana replied as she left Bella's hair and smiled at Big Sam, she kissed his cheek Lovingly.
In Scholars College, there was a relationship that was envied by every student but they were also feared because of their mean attitude, and those who don't fear them worship them.
"You again?" Big Sam spat and Joana stared at him
"You knew her?" Joana asked
"How can I forget the identity of the person who dares to raise her hand on me?"
Joana's eyes darkened in anger as she stared at Bella, "how dare you?" She hissed,
"Just allow me my Barbie, I know just where to put her" Big Sam replied and nodded at his gang and they held on each of her arms and dragged her away.
"I was going to apologize to you, I didn't mean to hit you" Bella pleaded as she was dragged off
"It's too late pretty face, I'll get my revenge and no one can stop me" Big Sam snarled, there was a glim in his eyes that Bella couldn't quite read, it was similar to those glims she saw in the eyes of some men just before they came after her. She struggled earnestly against the hands that were holding her, she couldn't allow him to take her to wherever it was that he was taking her, where the heck were the school authorities? The question just crossed her mind when she saw someone dressed like a coach, he was obviously not a student and he might have the power to save her from this.
"Hey Big Sam, what's up?" He asked as his eyes surveyed the situation
"Please, help me, he wants to harm me" Bella pleaded, her eyes never leaving the Coach
"Is it true?" The coach asked staring at Big Sam
"Of course not, I'm only trying to put her in her place and that's all coach, don't worry about it"
The coach nodded and started to walk past
Wait, is that it? It seems like Big Sam has control over the lecturers too.
Big Sam grabbed her jaw menacingly, "Offense number three, you dared to tell on me"
"Big Sam, please, let her go, she's just a new student" Brittany called out and Bella saw her running in their direction
"Stay away from this dolly or I'll also put you on my blacklist" Big Sam warned but Brittany wasn't backing down, deep down, she felt guilty for advising Bella to come to her college and now, she's in trouble or the other and she doesn't plan in leaving her all alone
"I can't stay away from it because she's my friend, just say whatever you want, I'll give it to you but just let her go"
"I don't want anything from you smarty pant, just get the hell outta here and do not interfere" Big Sam warned, his patience going thin
Bella's bag fell as they dragged her off and Brittany quickly picked it up, Bella is married, surely, her husband can come to college and rescue her right? She knows that Big Sam has most of the lecturers just where he wanted them to be, he bought them all with his father's money and none of them could openly confront him when he committed such atrocities in the school. The day that Big Sam graduates from college, the whole students will celebrate Liberty because he is the only terror of Scholars College.
Taking Bella's phone from her bag, there's only one number that's on her speed dial. 'Daniel' she assumed that should be her husband and she dialed the number.
The phone rang but there wasn't any response from the other end, "damn it, what should I do now?"
She quickly sent a text message, "If you can come to college, Bella is in danger", she sent it and hoped that he would see the text message and also before it was too late.
*******************************************Daniel dressed in his usual dark leather suit and carried his face mask, he always dressed like this whenever he had to operate as Nikolai Klaus, and that almost caused him last time as it created suspicion in his father's mind but thank goodness he was smart enough to mislead him into believing that he works for Nikolai Klaus instead. Today, he was going to enter into Calvin's house. He had to find something implicating in there, the originals of the documents of his mother's property.
He was seated in his car outside with Oliver his driver and Aaron, just observing the situation on the ground when his phone suddenly rang, glancing at the caller ID, he noticed that it was Bella and was about to pick up when the door suddenly opened and Joey Calvin came out, it seems like she was going somewhere and in a hurry, she looks suspicious and his gut feeling kicked in, he'll follow her to know what she's up to.
Starting the car, his phone beeped an incoming message and the message read out loud, "If you can come to college, Bella is in danger"
He cursed under his breath as he weighed his options and quickly decided to forego his plans, he would be back another
"Boss, you're dressed as Nikolai Klaus, it's dangerous," Aaron said
"I know but I'll be putting on a mask, she won't see my face, meanwhile, I need you back in the office ASAP"
"Let's go to my wife's college" he instructed and brought his phone to reply to the text
"Where is she?"
There was a pause and he thought the sender wouldn't reply again but after a while, the reply came,
"She was taken to an abandoned classroom in an isolated part of the school, it hasn't been used in years, please hurry".
Daniel gritted his teeth, if whoever took her touched a strand of her hair, that person would pay with his life. He vowed.
"Step on it Oliver, my wife needs me" he instructed and his driver increased the speed limit.
