Bella slowly opened her eyes, she had fallen asleep shortly after Nikolai had left and at first felt confused when she had opened her eyes, "Nikolai" she called when she opened her eyes to see Daniel standing with his back to her and staring outside the window.
He turned around when he heard her voice, "I'm sorry but it's not Nikolai"
"Daniel, I'm glad that you're here" she murmured and sat up and he went close and sat on a stool close to her
"Are you really glad or you're still hoping to see Nikolai"
"It's you I want to see not Nikolai" she replied
"I know, I was kidding" Daniel's eyes softened as he stared at her, of course, he knew how she felt about him and she had chosen him over Nikolai.
She had chosen her poor and broke husband over a billionaire, his heart swelled with emotions and he did not need anyone to tell him that he had fallen for his wife. He hoped to get his revenge soon so that he could tell her who he was. He will tell her that she has gotten married to a billionaire and he will spoil her silly.
"Daniel, are you okay?" She asked peering at him and he nodded, going close to her, he hugged her tightly
"I'm sorry that I wasn't there to protect you" he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, "I'll speak with the doctor and then, we can leave" Placing one last kiss on her forehead, he stood up and left.
Bella watched him leave with mixed emotions, he had acted so tenderly towards her just now, this was a part of him that she loved the most. Maybe their marriage will end up being a forever something if she gives it a try, she has to forget about Jeremy's betrayal and embrace her present, besides, Jeremy is forever fine from her life, he has no idea where she is neither will he ever find out. She is married and although her husband sees it as just a paperwork, she values marriage and would like to see hers succeed, who knows, before the year runs out, her husband must have fallen for her too because she is sensitive enough to know that she is in love with her husband but that's something that she wasn't ready yet to share with him.

That night, Bella had a strange dream, she dreamt of when she was still a child, five years old child and she was playing in the garden when she noticed a man was doing something with her father's car, in the dream, the man's face was blurred and she couldn't see his face
"What are you doing in my dad's car" she had asked innocently but just then, she heard her parent's voices, holding hands and laughing together as always, she had run to them to tell them about the man but when they had looked, they didn't see anybody and they took her words lightly as they all got into the car, they were all going to see a movie together.
Bella was happily seated at the back while her parents were both at the front. Suddenly, the car refused to stop and she heard her parents screaming as her mum tried the most to protect her.
Her father tried to stop the car and crash it into a tree, blood was coming out from the side of his head and her mum too but Bella wasn't hurt.
Then they heard footsteps and it was that man that Bella had seen earlier tempering with the car, "thank God you're here, please, save us" her father begged but much to her horror, the man brought out a gun and shot her dad right on the head, Bella sat frozen
"Why are you doing this?" Her mother asked and the man only chuckled evilly, pointing the gun at her mother, one shot and she grew still, the back door was ripped open and Bella was dragged out, then the man set fire on the car with her parents' bodies inside
"You're dead too if you say anything"
"No, no", Bella screamed as she watched her parents burn to death
"Dad...mum" she screamed and her eyes snapped open at the clap of a thunder.
She sat on her bed, drenched in sweat and wondering what kind of dream that was.
"What happened? I heard you scream" Daniel said as he entered her room
"I... I'm fine, just having a bad dream" she replied and lay down back
"Do you want to talk about it?" Daniel asked softly and she shook her head, "I'll be in my room if you need anything".
Daniel quietly went back to his room but he couldn't sleep, his body was on edge. Seeing her in her nightie had put him in a kind of mood, it had taken the whole of his willpower not to rip the flimsy nightie off her and have his way with her.

Another clap of thunder had Bella jerking from her bed, it was raining heavily and the lightning and sound of thunder wouldn't allow her to go back to sleep, she felt nervous. She had always been afraid of thunderstorms since she was a girl but as she grew older, she tried her best to overcome that fear. Another lightning flashed immediately accompanied by a very loud thunder that she thought the building would collapse, jerking up from her bed, she pushed away her embarrassment of being scared of thunder and flew into Daniel's room.
"C... can I sleep here with you?" She asked just as another thunder clapped and she flew into his arms and his bed without waiting for his response.
Daniel almost groaned out loud at having her soft body in his arms, his briefs stretched against his erection, "you can sleep here" he managed to say, his voice was husky and filled with lust, he cursed himself and his blasted body. She must have felt his arousal because she grew a bit tense and gingerly went to the side of the bed he had pointed to lie down.
They both lay on their sides backing each other, none of them sleeping and both were listening to each other's breath, "damn, what kind of torture is this?" Daniel thought as his erection pulsed painfully in his briefs, he heard a rustle as she tried to adjust well on the bed and his heart skyrocketed, damn, he was sweating despite the cold, he would need to get a cold shower.
He glanced at her side just to check if she was already sleeping and at the same time, she turned to also check if he was sleeping and their gaze collided, time seemed to pause and their breaths fanned each other's face.
Daniel couldn't hold back anymore, her big blue eyes called him, he felt the pull and he answered, closing the distance between them, he kissed her.
Bella stilled for a moment as a wave of emotions ran through her, she had never felt this way for anyone, not even with Jeremy. With Jeremy, she had felt more of obligation than actual enjoyment, she was so scared not to lose him and she foolishly did everything he said and he had hit her in a way that hurt the most. She hadn't felt this eager to be with anyone as she feels right now, she returned his kisses tentatively and he groaned and plunged deeper into her mouth, he kissed her like a man, a full grown man. Not college boyfriends, of course he was way older than her and had more experience but she had only known Jeremy and she wished to explore every bit with Daniel.
She slowly ran her hand over his chest and he groaned in approval letting her know that he appreciated it. She grew bolder and ran her hand fully over his chest, his hands fisted her hair and his lips found her neck, she shuddered at the feelings it elicited, she never knew that she had these emotions in her and she couldn't stop the moan that escaped from her lips. Daniel's hot lips trailed from her neck down to her breast and it was when he took a nipple into his mouth that she realized that he had ripped off her nightie. She jerked as whimpered in pleasure, her hands holding his head in place as he feasted on her breast, liquid pooled between her legs, and involuntarily, her waist moved upwards in search of fulfillment but Daniel wasn't done with her.
His hand trailed down slowly and stopped in between her legs, and his middle finger dipped into her, just a dip and she convulsed around him.
"Damn, you're so sweet and easy" he muttered and followed his fingers with his lips, Bella moaned recklessly and kept moving her hips, and she climaxed again against his lips
"Please, Daniel" she moaned and in one swift moment, he removed his brief and plunged into her.
He was huge, so much huge that he filled her to the brim, she adjusted her waist to accommodate his size
"Damn, you're so tight," he said as he moved his hip against hers, slowly, he started moving in and out of her and Bella moved her waist to meet every thrust of his
"Oh my God!" She screamed in pleasure as his crescendo increased, his mouth found her nipples as he pounded into her
Emotions upon emotions ran through Bella, she would give even her soul to this man right this moment
She screamed as she was taken higher into pleasure by each powerful thrust of his, emotions coursed through her and she came apart in his arms.
Daniel made one more powerful thrust and groaned in deep ecstasy and released his seed deep inside her.
